Love this place. They carry unique, native plants and employ a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I especially enjoy their shady living landscaped area, which helps one visualize.

loved the arlington store and loved the dallas store. they both have a uniqueness unto themselves! they also have a really great selection usually of unusual fig tree’s. i always feel at home in both stores… they also have lots of texas plants that grow here so you don’t have to run all over looking for them… the dallas store does have a great greenhouse that keeps everything warm also… love love love these guys. Josh in the Dallas store and Josh in the Arlington store are both really great to work with no matter what your looking for… Carli is wonderful also. did i mention she is with child? May God bless them all!!!

This place had a TX native perennial that I was looking for. I had called my local Calloways and they did not have it, so I ventured over here. They specialize in a lot of native TX plants, which is pretty cool. They also had some cute set ups around the store, including a refurbished Airstream looking thing w/retro chairs. My only complaint is that I passed by several employees who were doing plantings and not one person greeted me or asked if I needed help. I had to go inside to ask for help :(

One of my favorite garden stores in DFW area. Great location shaded by massive mature trees. A better than average selection of Japanese maples. Large mix of herbs and plenty of perennials. Large colorful pots? Yep. This place also has a good selection of garden art and unusual decorative pieces. The staff is always helpful. Leave the stroller and high heels at home. This is a garden center, not a paved park or concrete Calloways. Uneven gravel walkways and the occasional tree root are the norm. Which sets this place off from the rest. The parking lot is unpaved, so drive carefully after a rain.

What’s not to love. The Arlington store is even better than the Dallas store(imho) because of the demonstration garden. The have a great selection: Antique roses, perennials, herbs in the greenhouse, as well as plants you won’t find in big box stores. Their staff has knows about organic gardening and what grows locally; they are happy and eager to their love of gardening with you.

Redenta’s is a phenomenal gardening center that focuses on perennials, native and well-adapted plants and organic materials and methods. I seek out garden shops that specialize in xeriscape plants and Redenta’s is by far the best. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. The selection is extensive and offers the single best variety of herbs and shade-loving perennials out there. There is a nice deep stock, so if you find a plant that you need, they are likely to have enough for a whole bed. It is a beautiful, well-designed garden center that is a pleasure to visit even if you aren’t shopping. I enjoy strolling around the curving crushed gravel paths finding new plants and getting inspiration. They offer design and organic maintenance services as well. It is a bit pricey, but the plants I have bought from Redenta’s have done well and thrived in my garden(mostly — I am not the best gardener!) Can’t wait to start fall planting!
