Clerks were pretty up to standard the few times I was here, and it did get too busy for comfort at certain hours. Last time, on my way out, the woman custodian in the restroom was so indefensibly rude to me, I never wanted to go back there.

This is the worst Panera I have ever been to. The staff is ridiculously incompetent and can’t get a simple order right. Panera needs to do some serious looking into this location because they will be losing customers. Highly recommend that Undercover Boss come and check on this location to save it.

The service is not that great here compare with other location. When I go there to get food many time they down how will get my order wrong or miss a things of my food. They need to improve their accuracy.

Worst Panera. Took forever and there was no one here. Bagels were only sliced, not toasted as we asked. Caffe Mocha tasted like raspberry and hot chocolate tasted like orange… what is going on?

Typical Panera but the staff made the difference. They were friendly, accommodating and we got great service. There are a lot of options in the area but sometimes all you need is a good bagel.

Not sure why I keep trying the breakfast sandwiches. Tried 2 different power breakfast sandwiches in the last 2 weeks, and they just aren’t very tasty. Egg over done. Roll soggy by the time I sit down to eat 5 minutes later. Maybe I should just say hold the tomatoes. They are rarely good and firm … just watery. Cashiers are rather friendly. I will give them that much. If you’re up for a scone, those are usually very tasty.

My friend and I went to Panera for lunch on 6÷29÷15, and he found a roach in his food. Need I say more?

When I think of quality food and fast service, I don’t think of Panera Bread. With that said, the Ballston location is particularly disappointing. Ordering a dozen bagels ahead of time for work, I was repeatedly strung along to wait for over 30 minutes in the store as the employees waited on the delivery from another location. Needless to say the bagels didn’t show up. Of course the racks full of bagels in front of me were apparently for display purposes, because no attempt to deliver timely service was rendered.

Generally, I like Panera Bread, especially the sandwiches with beef and the sandwiches’ breads. But I tried a sandwich one time in this Panera, and really hated! The meat was awful !!!

It’s a standard neighborhood Panera, where you can order coffee, sandwiches, soups, and salads. I haven’t tried any of the newfangled«umami» broths or noodle soups(and I tend to be wary of «Asian”-inspired dishes since they tend to be oversalted), but this Panera has consistent food with regards to quality and quickness of delivery. Service here is just okay. Though I don’t necessarily need overly cheery staff, it would be nice if a cashier could crack a smile every now and then. Some things of note: — Be aware of the long lines that tend to be omnipresent during any breakfast/lunch rush period. You can call ahead and pick up your order from the shelves across from the drinks. — The restroom is located in the back corner of the restaurant, near the windows that face Starbucks. Don’t forget to ask for the code! — Bus your own tables! People who leave their garbage around, when the trash receptacles are clearly designed for self-busing, are just embarrassing. — Wifi is limited between the hours of 11AM and 2PM :(Sit near the Starbucks to mooch off their wifi: D

It’s a Panera like any other. I love their food. They have several different vegetarian options. Very reasonably priced and delicious. This one is located inside the mall on level 2. They are open till 10pm. Went there a few times over the summer. Tomato basil mozzarella sandwich or the Mediterranean sandwich is what i usually get. The place is clean and staff is very friendly. Considering it’s in a mall, it’s usually filled with teenagers, so it can get a bit annoying at times. Been here a few times with my best friend, she usually gets the salad and i get sandwich with soup. They also have several pastries and cakes to choose from and ofcourse their inhouse bread, which i actually have not tried yet.

How I heard of this place: The first time I ever went to a Panera was in Chicago, Illinois, when my sister suggested it. Since then, either I’m noticing it more or there are more popping up throughout the country. Type of cuisine: Bread being their staple, Panera boasts quality in sandwiches, grilled, hot as well as being served cold, deli-style. To accompany one’s sandwich or panini, patrons are invited to indulge in one of Panera’s signature salads and soups, ranging from decadent and creamy, to light and fresh. No breakfast or lunch would be complete with the sweet indulgences, to which Panera pays special attention; pastries ranging from cookies to muffins and scones, cakes and brownies, are beautifully arrayed and presented behind the glass display case on raised plates and stands for your viewing enjoyment. As well, I’m certain, to entice those who were not in the mood for something sweet. Think again. Ambiance: Panera offers a comfortable, casual spot to dine alone or with friends and colleagues. The green and light birch tones throughout the establishment, give a sense of nature, while the clamboring of knives and dishes in the back bring in the air of an urban setting. Staff are friendly, greet you warmly from behind the cash register as you enter the establishment. Often, windows line the front and sides of the café, where walker-by can enjoy the tasty treats on the plates, in the hands and in the mouths of patrons as large bites are taken of sandwiches, colorful salads and warm soups. Pastel-toned banners and posters hang about the space and in the mall windows to entice the taste buds of people thinking they can simply walk on by. Booth as well as table-chair seating are availble throughout the establishment, with space between so as not to feel like you are in the conversation of your neighboring diners. «Our bakery-cafes are an everyday oasis. A place to gather with friends or enjoy a quiet moment alone. Comfortable, friendly, fashionable. A place to recharge and feel rejuvinated. Slip into one of our seriously comfy chairs and stay awhile.» What I ordered: This was a special visit, unlike any other I have experienced with Panera to date. Working just across the way, their Catering Manager asked us, at Starbucks, if we had any coffee filters to spare… to share. I handed her a stack, and she returned with a bagel for each of us! For me, she chose the Cinnamon Crunch, cinnamon and vanilla chips flavoring the soft dough, topped with a sweet, crunchy shell of cinnamon & sugar. In the bag, she also included a small packet of Hazelnut Cream Cheese spread. What I loved: While I have yet to sample the spread, the untoasted, soft, delicately sweet bagel was the perfect dessert to my baked mini yellow potatoes with salt & pepper for dinner. Why I loved it: Free! Cost: Low to average($ 6-$ 9 per lunch entrée, sandwich, salad and/or a combination of the two)

Among Paneras, this one is subpar. I really like/love Paneras in general, so I’m typically expecting a high level experience at every chain. So the less than stellar experiences stand out to me. This one is very standard in the service department — neither friendly nor unfriendly service, but they are missing on details like telling you what the bathroom code is after you order, keeping eating spaces(ex. tables, floors) clean, etc. The men’s bathroom was also out of order today, so I need to dock some points for that as well. And more generally, they also need to work on the lighting here — parts of the restaurant(ex. by the outside window, and random patches towards the atrium of the mall) feel like you’re eating in a cave. This would be perfect for nap time, but I’m trying to get some work going so this setup isn’t helping! Overall, this location needs several tweaks, but maybe they have less of an incentive to keep it nice since they’re guaranteed a steady stream of mall customers day in and day out.

Not the best Panera I have ever been to, but not the worst. I am in food service so I understand the plight of this industry, but this Panera does not appear to desire to reflect brand standards at all. When placing my order, the cashier said«I can help the next guest» while looking around the room. I’m obviously next… That was a bit strange. I also wasn’t given the option of chips or bread with my meal. I am trying to avoid bread when I can, so being given bread without an option was also off from what is typically expected(I am ALWAYS given the option). The manager, who I won’t name because I don’t want to embarrass this person, didn’t seem interested in my request. He looked away from me while I told him that I wasn’t given the option of chips, bread, or whatever else is typical. He did offer the chips after nodding in affirmation, but I felt guilty asking and bringing it to his attention. No, it’s not a big deal on the grand scheme of eternity, it won’t matter tomorrow or even in an hour, but the lack of eye contact or genuine concern for the missed formality that I brought to his attention was off-putting. Training and brand standards are not a concern of this location. I only came to this Panera because it was the best option in the entire food court(it’s Sunday, Chick-fil-A is closed). I won’t be back.

This is a pretty standard Panera. Not too dirty, not to clean, not too busy not to empty. What’s cool about this place is you can definitely have a nice leisurely long breakfast here. There aren’t many patrons in the morning. Great if you just want to sit read the paper and be left alone while you’re waiting for the caffeine from your first cuppa coffee to kick in this is the place. No one will be in you face. A plus over Starbucks. There can be abit of a lunch rush. Nothing to hectic, mostly mall workers and employees from surrounding offices. I’ve never seen anything to crazy. I’ve always been able to get a booth seat. What’s cool about this location is there is seating outside of the restaurant near the Starbucks. So you can get your people watching skills on. You might get lucky and see a cutie or two. It’s definitely a step up from sitting with crazies that patron the food court downstairs. After 5PM this place gets a bit crowded and is less cozy. That could also just be my luck as well. So you’ll have to find out on your own. Lots of couples meeting for casual dinner dates. A few coworkers grabbing a bite together and discussing how much they hate their boss. however the wine still moves pretty fast which is good. All and all I will definitely be returning to this Panera. Their bagels and cookies definitely have this girl is addicted.

DONOT, ATALLCOSTS, ORDERCATERINGFROMHERE! The food did not show up on time. When it finally did show up at the location(a hospital which was large, I understand) there was a miscommunication at the front desk unfortunately and she was turned away. After returning to the car, she then did not want to go bring the food back inside because it was ‘too hot’ outside. She then decided to stop answering her phone at which this time, the food is now 15 minutes late. It was not received until 20 – 25 minutes after the requested arrival time.(Lunch break is only 30 – 60 minutes) I requested a receipt to be mailed to me after the transaction which was promised by Panera. I never received it. I was doing my credit card reconciliation yesterday and requested the receipt. The girl at the other end of the line(Maria) said she could send it. When it was faxed the total was cut off. I had to recall to get the receipt which she then said she cannot re-fax because it was the wrong receipt. She then says she cannot get it to me today because she is off shift and she has to go through every single receipt which would take too long. Since I had needed it for today, to turn in, I let her know it was urgent. She replied she would go out of her way to get it for me. I said thanks and that I would wait. I waited at the end of my day for an extra 30 minutes and it was never sent. I had to call the location back again today and finally spoke to a real manager(she led me to believe she was the manager) who was able to get me my receipt after searching 2 minutes and faxing to me on the phone. After spending more than $ 400 on catering, I got barely more than a half assed sorry for all the trouble. I will never, ever order from this Panera again.

Medicority… Panera is thy name. Wait, that might be a compliment for this place. I’ve never been sold on the whole concept of Panera Bread. It’s fast food that tries to pretend it’s not by trying to make the place look like it came out of a West Elm catalog and charging more for the food so you have this upscale façade. That said, I’ve had pleasant enough experiences in the past at Panera. However, the façade is cracking on this one. Service was friendly but my sandwich was burnt and sloppily assembled and I had to ask for the cup to get my coffee. When you order coffee and you have to serve it yourself, shouldn’t they just give you the cup? I mean, what am I supposed to do if they don’t? Try to put the scalding coffee in the palm of my hand? If I do that, I’ll never get the Sweet n Low package open. Sheesh. The tables were also not so clean on a Sunday morning… lots of old crumbs and grease spots everywhere. Somebody’s wiped the lipstick off this pig.
