I eat here at least once a week. Bread is good and prices reasonable. Fries are surprisingly good. If you want a steak and cheese or chicken this is the place. Way better than Subway IMO. Once you make a purchase they give you a survey on your receipt. Once you fill it out it’s good for free fries and drink with next sandwich purchase. They give it to you every time so that adds to the value.

Charley’s specializes in Philly cheesesteaks. That’s all they do.
I usually eat the Chicken Philly Steak and they have three sizes. I pick the small size. it comes with two slices of cheese and the combo includes a small fries.
it’s convenient for a workday lunch when a change from subway is desired.
In general, a place that specializes in one type of food is usually good at that as they say jack of all trades is master of none.
I would recommend this for an occasional meal.
Tip: add the malt vinegar on the fries along with the seasoned salt.

This is a carry out review.
I had the BACON THREE CHEESE STEAK
steak, bacon, swiss cheddar, provolone. also the CHEDDAR BECON FIRES.
It was good. The steak sub was made nice. Steak meat was just a little over season. beacon was good but over welling. Had the cheddar bacon fires. But the bacon was a little bit salt. cheese was great. But noting beat the Broiler sub on Columbia Pike. Will I get another carry out. Yes will I do a eat in. No. This is a place worth eating.

I go to this place a lot. Their subs are very good for semi-​fast food court food. On the back of every receipt you get is the opportunity to complete an online survey and get a code for free fries and a drink for next time. Also they have a punch-​card program where you get a free sub after 7 punches. You should definitely check it out.

This is a food court franchise but it’s pretty good. Mind you, it’s not a Philly cheesesteak. It’s taste is totally different but it is delicious. The french fries are really good, and the combo meal at $ 6 plus tax makes for a surprisingly great meal. I think it’s a father and son team and they are very nice. The Balston Commons Mall food court is somewhat depressing though.

This place makes your grilled subs to order, and the food is very fresh. You can’t beat the $ 4.99 deal at lunch time for a small (but good-​sized) sub, and fries. They will add extras like lettuce, tomato, green peppers, onions and mushrooms, banana peppers, etc., for no additional cost. Also, the french fries are delicious, and they offer vinegar to add to them if you want. I haven’t tried it yet, but the lemonade looks fresh, too. Will try it next time. They offer a frequent buyer card — after 7 subs, the next one is free.

I’m a fan for what it is offering. Unfortunately, anything in a food court is what it is (as another reviewer put it).
Aside from that caveat, these sandwiches and the gourmet fries (aka– cheesey bacon fries) really hit the spot when you are looking for a nice, greasey fix! They grill the sandwiches right in front of you. The philly cheesesteak and buff chic sandwich are both pretty delicious.

This is another is what it is establishment. If you walk up expecting a real, authentic, will change your accent Philly you’re going to be sorely disappointed.
That said, what this place does offer is a solid sandwich — chicken, beef or a couple of other options — done up quickly and with friendly service. Each time I stopped by I wound up leaving happy and full. You really can’t ask for much more than that.

Delicious hot subs made to order. Sandwich makers are very friendly. I’m definitely in a rut with the Chicken California sub. Also, don’t forget extra loyalty card punches on Thursday!
