I have been here twice for an oil change. First time, oil change and rotation. When my car was ready, the manager was going over my fluids(They fill out a chart and go over it with you), and he realized that the tech didn’t write anything down. The second time I came in for an oil change, I could not find the sticker that they put on the inside windshield. Drove my car around and the tech said he did put one on. Well, it fell into the floorboard in-between the seat. Details are important. After two visits, that concerns me.

What great customer service… I cannot begin to praise them on taking care of me during a stressful time! They went above and beyond to help me, and get me in and on the road in no time!

I had to take my wife’s car there because of the check engine light. The thermostat had broken and the mechanic who worked on the car was excellent. He took a lot of pride in his job. The first three vendors he used to get the replacement part sent him the wrong one. He never gave up and found the right part from a dealership, even though he uses them as a vendor of last resort due to cost. While fixing the car he noticed another possible problem but couldn’t get me a quote due to the weekend holiday. He said that he was off the following two days but still volunteered to make phone calls to get me a quote. If you’re looking for a good mechanic, come here and ask for Eddie.

This was the first time I’ve tried to go to this location, been to the one in Conroe Texas, despite their tire balance computer going out and two people quitting on the manager, he was still friendly and out going. If I didn’t need a tire right now, I would have waited for the issue to be fixed, though he even recommend a place nearby. Overall, for a crappy day, he helped a little

I recently moved to the Fort Worth area from Dallas and I always take my car to NTB for an oil change. I took my car here on Saturday, it was my first time at this particular location. It is also going to be the last time using that location. The service technician who greeted me and checked me in for my 1pm appointment was so friendly and upbeat. It’s too bad he wasn’t the manager. I could overhear the manager, Chris, checking people in and he wasn’t pleasant. At all. He was terse and blunt to the point of actual borderline rudeness. He should be glad to have a busy shop and provide great service to his customers. I happened to look up from my book and see my car back out front. I walked up to the counter and said, «I see my car out there but no one has called me up to pay for the service so I can go.» He just stared at me, lifted his brow, and didn’t open his mouth. I should be kidding, but I’m not. Finally, he said,“Okay.” Followed by another blank stare. To help him comprehend I added,“If my car is ready to go, then I’m ready to go.” «Okay, we’re busy, we will call you up in a minute,“he finally responded. A few minutes later, fortunately, I was called up to get my car. The service technician that was checking me out tried to sell me a brand new battery. I did fall for that little trick one time with my first car when I was 16 years old. I happily told the tech that I just bought a battery from Triple A less than 1 year ago and yes it was still under warranty, no, i wasn’t going to buy another one, thank you, bye.

I’m not sure what has happened but the last few times I’ve been to the 287 location I’ve received rude customer service from the new manager. This was my favorite NTB, they treated everyone kindly and were very helpful. This new manager is condescending and rude. Maybe it’s because they’re understaffed but after being loyal to this location since it opened, I’m going to have to take my business to the I20 location.

Manager there was very helpful and got me exactly what I needed. He appreciated my car and understood everything I did and was happy to help me out what i needed to do. This place is awesome. They have a inground alignment machine and they are will set everything to your specs with an extra charge of course, but very well worth it.

To level set I usually do my own minor auto repairs mostly because I know it’s done right, properly torqued, usually takes less of my time, and I’m not getting overcharged. I was about to do the brakes on my wife’s car, needed an impact screwdriver, and noticed a $ 99 dollar deal at NTB… i figured I’d get out for less than 200 bucks and went in. They said my rotors were warped, could not be turned, and it would be another day before the parts were in. Okay, so a two day job and another 200 bucks… I did not expect a bill for $ 450. So I paid got my car and left. I checked the work when I got home it it was all done well, so that’s good. Here’s the rub — two cans of brake cleaner at $ 17 and ~$ 60 bucks for«disposal fees». The cleaner is ~5 bucks at any auto parts store and recycling is free. Plus, I took my old rotors to Orielly paid my $ 15 bucks, they turned just fine and are in spec. So only two stars, the work was done well, but unnecessary work and fees are a rip. But hey, I have two extra rotors ready to go and I picked up an impact screwdriver for 20 bucks… I’m all ready for next time! All said and done I paid about $ 250 in stupid tax and my wife went without her car for two days instead of a Saturday morning.
