Stopped by while visiting a friend of mine at the UT Arlington Campus nearby. This little café right down the street from the campus is meant to appeal to college students for sure. They offer WiFi and have a corner tucked off beside the counter area with various Manga’s. I couldn’t spot anyone that didn’t have their face buried in a laptop or book, and everyone else seemed to be around college age. The food for the most part was decent to good at times, but nothing really stuck out to me other than the Gyoza. We ordered calamari to start, which was soft and not at all chewy, but tasted a bit of the freezer it was previously contained in. Following that, we ordered two rolls that were recommended to us by the very polite and well spoken lady whom took our order, the first being a Rainbow Roll, the later name escapes me. The Rainbow roll tasted fresh enough, but wasn’t well put together as it seemed to easily fall apart despite being a simple roll. The other roll had a great flavor, but was a bit over powered by the sauce it was smothered in. The sushi prices were pretty standard, and despite sounding a bit harsh, I enjoyed them for what I paid. Our entrées consisted of Udon for my friend, and a Chicken Katsu Bento for myself. The Udon was great! Plentiful, flavorful, with just the right amount of kick as my friend requested. The Chicken Katsu had a great flavor, and the Bento itself came with a salad, Kim Chi, four pieces of a California roll, and a couple of pieces of Pan Seared Gyoza. The Salad was good, well presented and fresh. The Gyoza was great, making us both wish we had ordered it as an appetizer instead of the calamari. The Kim Chi tasted good enough, but didn’t stand out from any other Kim Chi I’ve ever had. The California roll was as simple as they come, a standard California roll but it tasted exactly as it was suppose to. The Bento box only ran $ 8.95, which is a great value in my opinion. We also both ordered teas with aloe jelly, which we enjoyed quite a bit. I’d come back for those, but having tried a bit of what iCafe has to offer in the line of cuisine, I’d like to give them another shot some time in the future. Although not exactly a great dining experience, I certainly didn’t dislike anything and actually really enjoyed my Bento Box. Having said that, I would have probably spent a lot of time in this establishment had it been around back in my college days.

Run away from the bathroom in the back. It smells funkay — maybe it’s just a onetime thing? But from reading other reviews, it unfortunately doesn’t seem like it. Otherwise, this place is pretty clean and nice looking on the inside. Food wise, it’s just a normal pan-Asian restaurant that serves food from Japanese sushi to Chinese beef noodle soup. Some of their dishes come with a free drink like oolong tea or green milk tea(boba=+$.50), which is a VERY nicely added bonus. Service is so-so, but I must admit the dishes came out pretty fast. I unfortunately am comparing this to Dallas Asian restaurants, so I wouldn’t come back for the food, but their drinks and nice study booths will definitely draw me back when I’m in the area. Overall, meh? (Side note: they’re closed on Saturdays.)

The food was all really amazing, and despite the interesting outside the inside is very nice. The food wasn’t too expensive and the people were very nice. But the food came in smaller portions so we had to order more food. Great Place to study if you need somewhere more quiet!

So I live in Fort Worth, and drive to Arlington a few times a month, and every time I go, I always make a quick stop at ICafe! The teas are amazjng, the food is to die for, and the entire atmosphere is clean, bright, and welcoming. The Calamari is delightful, cooked to perfection, the Miso is always perfect, and savory, and the JaJaMong is the perfect Korean treat! If you’re in the mood for something sweet, try the CoCo Ballet! My only complaint is that the staff isn’t always the friendliest, or most welcoming, but that’s only one out of every few times I visit. I give 5 stars for a consistently fantastic experience.

I come here almost every other day, I love studying here and the staff is so nice. Tonkotsu udon: 7/10, it’s so yummy and great to have while being sick. Warms me right up! I’m going to try the ramen next. Chicken karaage bento box: 8/10, I love this bento box. It comes with so many different sides. Sometimes I like variety and it never fails to please me. Gyoza: 10/10, it’s just a must try. I love dumplings and for sure reason. I’m really in love with theirs. Maybe it’s be sauce. Yaki udon: 7.5÷10 its a big portion and full of yummy flavors. Always good to have if you’re super hungry! Every meal come with a free drink. I always get milk tea without boba :)

If you’re looking for a great place to study, chill or for a cute little first date, this is your place! The people are so nice and the food is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Always come here all the time with my boyfriend. I love the Miso-Udon Soup that comes with shrimp tempura and a free drink.(The list of free drinks are on the board with the specials. If you get a different drink, it’s full price. I always get a classic milk tea.)

I really love the milk teas here, especially the green milk tea! A lot of other boba teahouses use lots of powder and you get this weird aftertaste in your mouth. This place actually uses fragrant tea. The green milk tea smells and tastes like jasmine. Love!!! I’m always craving the milk tea here because it’s so good. I usually ask them to half the sugar/syrup because I don’t like my milk teas to be too sweet. They offer a huge variety of drinks, but I tend to stick to ordering green milk tea. My sister always orders the assam milk tea, which is also really good. I’ve tried their ramen, bento, and a few of their other dishes here. The food here is average, but not terrible. If I were still in college, I’d probably eat here all the time since there’s Wifi, decent food, and really good boba drinks. If you order one of their entrees, you get a free milk tea with it! The one thing that really bums me out about this place is that they are closed on Saturdays. I feel like they’re losing out on a lot of business by not being open on Saturdays, especially since I find myself craving boba on Saturday and then have to remind myself that I can’t come here since they’re closed.

I came here way too often while I attended UTA. I mostly ordered drinks. Boba teas are really good. I like that I can taste the tea! Also their coffee selection is pretty good. There is something for everyone. The food selection is spotty. Some is good and some is not so good. I like the breaded curry chicken a lot. Skip the sushi. It’s filling at best. The shaved ice desserts are big! Share with a friend. I like the atmosphere of the place. There are electrical outlets in every booth, so you don’t have to scramble for outlets like other cafes. The television channels that they play are random, but hopefully you’re there to get some studying done ;)

I’ve been coming to this place for years, I always get the Tonkotsu Ramen. The staff is friendly and the tables are kept clean. The only bad thing is that the bathroom area smells terrible.

Came here with a few friends after class. We come here for the cheap and filling food! As soon as you walk in, there are seats to the right and the left of the café — most seats are booths with some tables. I noticed that you get a free drink(select few) with your entrée, so I got the Japanese breaded curry chicken with milk tea. I didn’t know they charged extra for boba(0.50) but I didn’t mind at all. The milk tea wasn’t too sweet but it was a bit bland on tea flavor. The food wasn’t anything amazing, but you do get your money’s worth for something so cheap. They have free wifi and some computers! A lot of UTA students come here for a snack — me as well — and I will be back for cheap food!

I didn’t have a very good first experience here because they had no idea what a STRAWBERRYBANANASMOOTHIE was, but their other items are actually pretty ok!

I absolutely love this place! It’s wonderful for studying. My boyfriend and I split the chicken fried rice and shared a passion fruit green iced tea. We were very pleased! Another plus to the iCafe is that it’s super clean and the interior is so cute. Very spacious and plenty of outlets to charge your computer and other devices. Will definitely be back soon!

I’ve been here a couple of times already and it’s pretty good. I used to get the Yaki Soba which is a stir fried noodle dish with beef, shrimp, and vegetables. It’s really good, but it’s been awhile since I’ve had it. I’ve been getting the tuna tower that they have here. First place I’ve ever had it and I’m hooked. My boyfriend and I always get there panned fried gyoza as an appetizer. Their milk tea is good and I would get coffee jelly in mine. I just like how the jelly is in a shape of a cube instead of a rectangle. I would suggest sitting in front of the register counter other than the room they have to the right of the area. The room to the right smells horrible and it’s been like that every time I come.

I’ve been here a couple times already, and in my taste of Milktea, their black milk tea is the best ATTHISPLACE! The reason why I gave this place 2 stars is because their staffs are actually really friendly! THATSIT! I donno why it always takes forever to get our drinks, even though there is no one else infront or behind us! Not just that, this place has that stinky smell which is very weird and strange for a HANGOUTPLACE!

i LOVE iCafe! I have been to nearly every boba place in DFW and this is by far the best. why? because they use high quality tea and you can tell by the flavor of your drink! I wish it was closer! I live in Dallas and every chance I get I go to iCafe and buy literally 3 – 4 boba drinks. The tea must be coming from China because it is full of flavor and strong! They also have these cool shakers and best of all they can make my drink with no sugar. If you go somewhere that cant, that means they aren’t making it fresh! Can’t wait to go there again!

This restaurant is definitely very interesting. café/restaurant that offers a variety. I’ve been to icafe about 5 times, and i’ve only gone for one thing and one thing only; Tonkotsu Ramen.(the best hang over remedy lol) Reason why I didn’t give it a better star rating: Inconsistency. The last time I was here with my two girlfriends, they screwed up our order. The 3 of us ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen. My Bowl: Perfect. didn’t miss a single ingredient. even came out with the chili oil like i asked. great! Val’s bowl: she asked for no bean sprouts. got no bean sprouts, no egg, and no bok choy. Kellys bowl: also got no bean sprouts(although she had no special requests, just a simple bowl of tonkotsu), also had no egg and no bokchoy. — when we told the server their bowls came with no eggs or bokchoy, she looked confused and ran to the back. this made us wonder… does this mean shes going in the back to get it for us, or??? so we waited patiently. server comes out with ONE egg for TWO bowls. we politely remind her that TWO bowls didnt get the egg. 5 minutes later she comes back out to ask us.“so… both bowls didnt have an egg?” and we simply said… right… neither of them did. so she goes back, gets her manager/owner/whatever to come to our table and ask us AGAIN. «so these two bowls didnt get an egg.»…we replied, for the millionth time — yes… finally… they come back out with an egg for each bowl and doesn’t apoligize for the inconveneice or the mistake that they made. she simply placed the egg on the table and walked away. weird. =P they also never corrected the no bokchoy and no bean sprouts issue, either. by that time i think we were just ready to go. lol over all, i dont expect great customer service from this place but it would be nice to get the usual ingredients in a ramen bowl =P

This place is surprisingly spacious and clean. The flavored tea here is good and refreshing. It tastes like real tea and not sugar filled water like most boba places. My personal favorite is the mango green tea. The boba is not good. It never tastes fresh and is always too hard for my liking. The food is pretty good. I’ve had the sakura roll, salmon fried rice, and the tonkatsu ramen. All of which was good and well worth the price. Portions are decent as well. The service is friendly and the wifi is faster than most places. It’s a good place to go to have boba drinks, eat, or just to get some work done. If you do come here to work, be sure to bring your headphones. patrons are generally loud and obnoxious teenagers debating loudly about who has the better pokemon or something like that.
