Brought my daughter’s bike in today and it was fixed with a new inner tube in less than 30 minutes! Great customer service and better prices than Sun & Ski. Bring your bikes here!!!

I recommend going anywhere but here. I came in wondering why my bike became harder and harder to ride. I came in to find a nice gentleman sitting down helping another customer. The shop itself is about the size of my closet. Small, but I like to support local so I give it a shot. He helped me unload the bike from my car and said he would look it over. He did explain that their«master mechanic» was not in and that she would have to be the one to look at it to determine if anything was wrong. He said«as far as I can see it needs a tune up and potentially new gears…» I agreed to have the«master mechanic» look at it when she came in the next day then let me know what the bike needed and an estimate on how much it would be to repair. I spent 50 $ on it. Bought it used from a friend. Because I spent so little on it, I didn’t want to spend much more to «repair» the bike when I could go buy a new one for 100 $-$ 200. I patiently awaited a phone call. The next day, as promised, I received a phone call. «Hello This is _______from the bike shop. Your bike is ready to be picked up» «Umm what?» «We did a tune up and repaired the back tire tube you said was going flat. That will be 50 $.» Hmmmm ok 1. I didn’t receive a phone call, estimate or diagnosis 2. What if I didn’t want you to work on my bike? 3. Aren’t you the same gentleman that told me you would have her(master mechanic) call me? Ok. So I ask to speak to «master mechanic» I proceed to tell her the situation and she acts as if nothing was wrong. I told her I wasn’t happy to be given a bill for work that was not approved or explained. She very rudely proceeded to tell me that the bike needed work and«you wanted us to fix the bike and your bike needed it so we did it. That’ll be 50 $» I asked her«do you not see anything wrong with this picture?» At which point she began to yap and yap and yap and said«I’m not going to reprimand my employees…» Yap yap yap… I tried to say, in that one-sided conversation, that I didn’t want her to reprimand anyone. I was just shocked to receive a bill for work I hadn’t asked for. Clearly, there was some miscommunication. Now, not having seen my bike, picked it up or anything I didn’t know what to do. I was trying to talk it out like adults but she wouldn’t let me get a word in. So I hung up. I don’t like when people yell or get defensive in a non threatening situation. It was a phone call for Christ’s sake! So I had a dilemma. The nice part of me wanted to pick up the bike, hope that it was functioning and pay 50 $ for a «tune up and a new tube». Leave and never return. But the other side of me wanted to do exactly as she had said«well we won’t make you pay then. Since you didn’t order the work. If you think our work is worth nothing then fine! You don’t have to pay anything.» Then the other offended side of me wanted to pursue the issue further. I wasn’t looking for free work. I was looking for a diagnosis and an estimate, which was clearly communicated to her helper 3 times! I decided to have my mom go and pick up my bike and pay for the tube(since there probably was a cost for it). The tune up– as described to me by the helper was«a wash and an oiling of the gears»(thanks, I’ll keep my 40 $ and wash n oil my own bike) My mom tried to pick up the bike 3 times! All during normal business hours. The shop was closed with a note on the door saying«if you need help call(###) ########. She called — no answer. On the 3rd day I receive a phone call from«master mechanic» with a friendly tone. «We have a three day pick up policy» Ummmm… What the. «My mom went and tried to pick up the bike during business hours and you were closed. I’ll give her your number so you two can communicate» (I had nothing nice to say so I chose to say nothing at all) In their communications my mom said she was extremely rude, unprofessional and NEVER sticks to her business hours. Worst customer service experience EVER. Do not go here!!! Tell your friends, family and neighbors. Find a legitimate business with legitimate workers and good customer service. This shop is a disgrace to all other small business owners.

Poor customer service. Will not be returning. Knew enough info to sell. He really didn’t know what I was talking about when I questioned him about other bicycles, and recommended a bike I know is of poor quality. Talked down on another local store I visited, saying they were overly expensive. Visited that shop that had new quality bicycles for the same price as his used ones.

Quick and easy! Went there 15 mins before closing on Sunday for a tire repair. They had everything I needed for my son’s tricycle tire. Replaced the tube and mounted for $ 10.

Called on Friday needed to have a tube repaired. Talked to Bicycles Inc and they told me they couldn’t see me(even though it as 30 minutes before closing) they said I would just have to wait the next day. I responded by telling them…“there are other bike shops out there). I simply called Front and Center Cyclery and they encouraged me to come visit them. So my husband and I arrived 5 mins before closing and Stevie took care of our bike. It only took 15 minutes and $ 10 now I’m ready to roll. I saved some money and time going to Front and Center Cyclery. I will return here again. I am a customer for a lifetime. Thanks Front and Center.

These people are super cool and did a great job on my Novara bike. It was ready same-day after a tune up and replacing both tubes. Location is perfect for UTA students who need their bikes to get around. Ellie the owner was really cool! I’ll definitely use you guys again.

I really like this little place. Needed leather saddle, chain, whitewall tires, & Rudy had everything on the next day. Couldn’t find the matching leather grips or they would have 5 stars. Taking two more bikes there next week.
