First Choice Emergency Room

If it is a true emergency, do not go to this place. They do not have enough resources to treat you. My parent almost died because of their under trained staffs. And if they are not emergency situations, then just visit an urgent clinics. This place is not cheap.

NEVER GO HERE! You’re better off going to a hospital! They told me the co-​pay would be $ 125 so I got the bill in the mail then paid it. 2 weeks later go another bill in the mail of $ 90 doctor charge… Paid that as well. 2 MONTHS LATER got a bill for $ 653… Are you kidding me?! Ridiculous. And I have insurance!

The Dr seemed frustrated when I did not allow extra test to be run on me. I spoke with him for about 3 or 4 min received a $ 600 bill for his time there was also $ 1000 plus bill for a facility charge. The funny part is I told the Doctor what I needed, he didn’t have to do any work. This place is no an urgent care, be aware. I probably wouldn’t be so upset if I hadn’t explained what I was there for and the issues I had with another place. But the person at the desk to listened and did not recommend me try service somewhere else based on my symptoms seems strange. After checking out reviews at the other locations there seems to be a pattern. They need to change something’s at least on the verbal communication side.

Unfortunately, I came down with a stomach bug that was unpleasant to say the least. I called to see if they accepted my Cigna insurance. They did, so I hopped in the car.
I visited First Choice because it’s very close to my home. I was immediately greeted by the receptionist and handed paperwork to fill out.
They didn’t have a phone book to fill out, just a couple of sheets that I only needed to fill out like 5 blanks.
Within a couple of minutes of handing that back, the nurse came and got me and took me to an exam room with a comfortable bed/​chair contraption and a tv.
The facility is so clean you could see your face in the floor. The staff is very friendly and concise in their communication.
I received my care and went on about my way to go home and rest.
I checked my mail today and they’d actually sent me a get well card with the staff signatures! How adorable is that?
I’m definitely glad they’re in that location because it’s all residential. Fast and friendly patient care, great communication, and a clean facility gets an A+ in my book.

Checked in on-​line and when I arrived all my information was already there and all I had to do was sign some forms.
I was taken back very quickly and the staff treated me like I was their only concern.
All my vitals were completed quickly and all questions asked and answered.
Doctor came in almost as the nurses were leaving. Very nice and greeted me by name. Explained everything in regular words and I felt very at ease.
Got my discharge orders and prescription and was on my way.
Start to finish maybe 45 min. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.
