The food was subpar and the restaurant appeared to be ran by kids. The hostess was also our waitress. She was friendly however kept forgetting things and spent a lot of time on her phone so she was unaware that we needed her attention. They only sell beer so if you’re looking to cool off with a margarita, you won’t get one here. It was not worth the $ 50.

Services was friendly and kept taking care of my drink only because my son choose the fire most spicy thing on the menu don’t get me wrong I’m not a big fan of spicy food but my son loved it !!! I just need water to cool down he loved the crab legs shrimp crawfish… This place is great for some family time we never looked at our phones we too busy with are hands on the crawfish!

Great atmosphere for the busy Arlington District. I had Fried Mushrooms, and crawfish with hot flavor. The mushrooms we great and filling. The crawfish was okay. They were drenched ih the right amount of seasoning but the flavor was not cooked into them. It seems as if the sauce was poured on top instead of basted. If i had a choice between them and Crazee Crab, i choose the Crazee. However, if you are looking for a quick place to drop in this is the place.

DONOTGOHERE! Listen to everyone else saying its bad. First time coming here with my boyfriend’s family and the crawfish smelled funny and was mushy and gritty. Get the manager out and says it was accidentally boiled in crab water and said it wasn’t bad. Really? Guess who’s sick and throwing up now? Me! Don’t believe it was in crab water. NEVERCOMINGBACK

We decided to splurge a little and order some crawfish a few nights ago. We couldn’t leave the house so we ordered for delivery(which was at a steep $ 5.00BEFORE tip). We decided to give this place a try, as many reviewers have had. But I have a rule to always try a place before disregarding them due to their ratings. The only good thing about this order is that we got our order in under 30 minutes. The rest shoots downhill. The crawfish was extremely overcooked. I managed to salvage one or two pieces per bag, which were still terrible to eat. The rest disintegrated in my hands. This crawfish goo was our dinner. On top of the overcooked crawfish, the children’s bag was supposed to have corn. They decided to put all the corn in the spicy bag leaving the children with neither crawfish or corn to eat that night. At $ 8.99/lb, it was an extreme waste of money. Please, don’t make my mistake. Don’t give these people a chance.

1 Star because ZERO is not an option. Wish they ORIGINAL owners still owned it. Even though I read the reviews about the new owners, and how food/service has changed my wife and I decided to give it a shot(hoping that things would still be the same). Well…we didn’t even get a chance to see how the food is, and I’ll let you know why. My family of 4 walks in on a Sunday evening, waiting near the front counter to be seated. The hostess, server, waiter… whatever you want to call her looks at me after we stand there for a minute and asks«Do you guys want to be seated?» At that, she only asks us after I say to my wife«Or we going to get seated or what?» There was ONLY3 other tables seated, that should’ve been a dead giveaway already compared to how usually packed they were. She sits us down, and tells us that she’ll be back to take our drink orders. We sit there for at least 5 minutes with 3 different servers walking past us the entire time. They were chatting with one another, barely waiting on the other tables… but couldn’t even ask us what we wanted to drink. We get up and leave. No one even acknowledges it. I didn’t want to make a scene in the restaurant in front of the 3 tables(LOL) so I ended up calling them while I was in my car before pulling out the parking lot. I asked the lady that picked up the phone(who we walked right pass) why we couldn’t get any service, and she didn’t even know what we were talking about? Clearly this new owner doesn’t care about customer service with the people that’s working there. She proceeds to tell me «Oh, it’s because the server for your section was busy.» Busy? In our section? One person could’ve waited, served, and bussed the the entire dining room that evening. What a joke. I’m glad that I experienced that service before ordering, because if the new owners don’t care about the first impression as customers walk in… then I can only imagine what they’ve done with the recipe. You’ll see from all the reviews before me(after the new owner) that one of the most common complaints is that the crawfish was«too soft» or «overcooked». IF the original owners read this, please open up another place in Arlington. Until then, I’ll gladly drive to Joe’s Cajun.

Took 50 min to get my to go food. When I expressed my frustration to an employee, he offered to get the owner but came back and replied«I’m sorry, he(the owner) doesn’t work well under pressure.» Very unprofessional.

I am only giving this restaurant a one star because the waitstaff were kind and welcoming. I have gone to this restaurant multiple times to know that they have really great crawfish. But they must have changed owners or something because today I came in and noticed they changed their menus once again. When I got the crawfish it was overcooked. Every Time I went to peel the shell, I would just rip the tail in half because the shell was so soft. They claimed that since its the beginning of the season, crawfish are smaller and cook really quickly. But if you knew that beforehand wouldn’t you adjust your cooking time so it didn’t overcook? The sauce didn’t taste the same and was bland… I’m disappointed because this used to be my togo crawfish joint… I will be going to Orchid City for my crawfish fix from now on.

Crawfish are not very good. They were very soft and fell apart(Over cooked). The flavor was okay. Don’t think I’d go back. And at $ 8.99lb not worth it.

It was my first time and we ordered to go… it will be my last time. Ordered at 715pm, didn’t get it delivered until 9pm. AND we were only 2.6 miles away. Opened the crawfish and I’m they were all overcooked! The only good thing was shrimp and sausage. A waste of $ 130. We had to cook after we received the order. It was THATBAD!

Being from New Orleans, you can’t give me frozen crawfish and expect it to go over well. The original owners aren’t there anymore, I’m not sure how it was before but I’ve heard it was much better. The calamari was good but that’s about it. I may return just to give it another try but I was not impressed. The prices were too high for the quality and amount of food they give.

The service here isn’t all that great but the snow crab legs, corn, & sausage are the best things on the menu to me. I’ve had the same server all 3 times(don’t remember her name) She’s cool, not the best but ok. I’m from Louisiana so none of the food is super authentic fresh seafood but I would recommend the crab legs over anything else. PS: to a lot of you that are wanting fresh crawfish, make sure you’re coming during crawfish season. Otherwise, it’s probably just frozen and not fresh.

DONOTRECOMMENDGOINGTOTHISPLACE! First of all, their crawfish is over cooked to where when I try to peel it off the shell, it would tear apart making it not edible. The owner changed so that’s probably why. The staff is SORUDE! When my best friend and I came in, they just stared at us & kept talking to their coworkers like we weren’t there. So we sat ourselves down & they took forever to come to us. At the end, we were dissatisfied & will not be coming here from now on.

I was so excited to try this place since it’s near my house and I’ve previously heard great things. My visit was very disappointing, the service was horrible as well. My friends and I walked in not greeted by any of the servers. We finally got settled and seated our server didn’t speak or understand any English which was frustrating. Other servers saw her struggling and just continued to stare at her instead of coming up to help her with our order. For the food, the seafood we ordered was very overcooked. Manger didn’t even offer to change our order or serve us something that would be more satisfying. It was by far the worst experience I’ve had and I wouldn’t come back. Highly don’t recommend to anyone to come here.

Kay was awesome! Great service, great food, and great atmosphere. I order crawfish every time and it’s perfect every time. Spice is spot on. I get the one«X» and it the perfect heat that lets you still enjoy the flavor crawfish. Love it here!

Editing my review because my «live crawfish» that we paid 7.99 for did not taste fresh at all, they tasted frozen and dead. Not only that they were super small, and soft, when you try to peel em the tail would break. We couldn’t even finish our usual 3lb. The lemon pepper seasoning we tried is not all that either. Garlic butter is better. Other than the crawfish, we tried the half&half po-boy, our waitress got our order wrong and brought our shrimp and oyster but my bf ended up loving the fried oysters!(He had asked for sausage). The shrimp was good & the tartar sauce it comes with tastes really good! I knocked off the stars bc like other said in reviews below, if you’re going to advertise live & fresh crawfish outside your establishment but serve dead frozen ones, kinda false advertisement there don’t you think? Maybe I just came in the wrong day. Cause all the other times I came it was delicious, unfortunately today’s crawfish was just disappointing. It would have been nice to say I’ve been satisfied every time, but my visit today just messed up that streak.
