Went here for a quick watch fix for my battery. I waited a little over 5 minutes to have it fixed. For my new batter it cost $ 15, not too bad. The service was nice and speedy. Given the great location of this spot I will definitely come back if I need anything else fixed. Their hours are a bit weird so beware of that. Closed on Sundays and open at 12 pm daily to about 6 pm I believe.

Avoid this place at all cost!!! I went in here with a pretty simple request, take off two links and open the case back of my vintage watch so I can see the reference number. Not only was he rude but he couldn’t even complete the job! After failing to get the second portion of the case back off he told me I still had to pay him the full $ 15.00, because he still«tried.» Might just be but if you are hired to do a job, but fail to do so, you should not get paid for«trying.» Also he wanted to charge me $ 25.00 to remove two links, I thought he was joking. Unless you want to get rude, terrible, costly service, do yourself a favor and go to another watchmaker.

Very good service. This is my go-to jeweler for repairs, batteries, convenient shopping(though it’s very small). The owner is very helpful, friendly, and knows the business. Highly trustworthy — I’ve been going here for seven years and always get good reliable service. A pleasure to have this store nearby.

I have been going to Courthouse Jewelers for a few years now. I basically go there whenever my watch needs a new battery or adjustments. I have also purchased a watch band from here as well, as a gift. The prices are reasonable, especially compared to some jewelers in Georgetown. I took a ceramic watch here because one of the random jewelers in Georgetown removed some links but did not replace them properly. The owner explained to me what they did wrong, fixed, and didn’t even charge me. I find him to be very friendly and chatty, and the fact that he does nice things like this for customers is what makes me go back. His store is small and may appear somewhat in disarray, but he does provide quality service and repairs.

My experience was awful! I was trying to sell a piece of jewelry, so I took it in for an appraisal. First of all, the store is really small and junky. It is not at all what I expect for Clarendon. Secondly, the jeweler is rude and snarky. He wouldn’t give me a straight answer and kept asking me how much I wanted for it. The whole point of me going there was for him to tell me what it was worth. Unfortunately, he never did tell me, but he did offer to buy it for 1⁄15 of the retail value! I laughed, said«I think not,» and walked out.

I’ve used this jeweler several times and have always been impressed with the speedy service and reasonable prices. A friendly gentleman who runs the store and has done an excellent job every time I’ve gone. Highly recommended!

Got my pearls re-strung here and a gold chain repaired. The service was fast and high quality. I felt the prices were reasonable, too. The location is convienent for those who work in the area. Going back to get rings re-sized. His price is about 100 bucks cheaper than Fast Fix.

I love this place! The owner here is a great guy. He is really friendly and always willing to help. He helped me get my mother’s ring sized to fit my finger perfectly. He called me when he was done and when I received it, it looked basically brand new. He even polished it! :) Great store — next to AMC movie theater and Sawatdee restaurant.

I asked the jeweler here to create a custom piece based on an old ring. It was given back to me in terrible shape — one side was larger than another, the diamond’s head was tilted and it eventually snapped in half. I took it to Dominion Jewelery to fix it, their jaws dropped as it was passed from one jeweler to the next, guffawing at how bad my ring was mangled. Don’t bother.
