Bath & Body Works

I went during the holiday season on a weeday night and it was completely empty when I walked in. I was greeted right away by an amazing staff member named Deena who was full of energy and genuinely wanted to help. There’s so many incredible scents and they have good sales such as the Buy 3 Get 2 Free offer. They have a ton of scents specifically geared for the holidays like the «Oh Snap» gingerbread hand soap for example. They’re handing out $ 10.00 coupons for the holidays as well and giving away free cellophane gift wrap for your gifts. If I had to choose between any Bath and Body Works to go to it would definitely be this one! I noticed there were some reviewers who had a difficult experience finding parking. We parked in the parking lot by choice because it was a pleasant evening to walk in. It took us 2 minutes walking to get to the shop. I also would like to mention that all of the parking spaces were empty along the wall that lined that shop except for one. I think it may just be hit or miss, however, if you don’t mind a two minute walk you should be okay :)

Customer service here was terrible, I walked in and the only two people working were talking to each other and not greeting their customers. I had to interrupt their conversation to ask a lady a question! I only buy body and hand soap from here, so I Frequent b&b works and know how friendly the staff is, always greeted at door, asking if you need help, grabbing you a bag to shop, ect. I came to exchange my hand soup holders for the newest fit, apparently the company changed their policy and no longer do equal trades (I know this is not this locations fault or decision) but the way she responded to me telling them I was told it would be an even trade, was rude and short! I don’t expect the rules to be broken for me but I do expect an apology for the changes or for the inconvenience! All in all I’m sticking to the mall stores, much better customer service!

This bath and body works is pretty small but the employees was always friendly and willing to help you out. This location is pretty good, right near the movie theater and Starbucks. I don’t give it 5 stars because it is smaller than the ones I went to and there weren’t that many employees working. The prices were a tad high as well.

This may be one of the smaller B&BWs around, but it has always filled my needs.
5 stars to the Manager and sales associates. Store Manager is So friendly and helpful, she taught me how to maximize the potential of my coupons, and is so knowledgeable of the products, that she could tell me which ones had a picture of a Sunflower on the label! And no, there’s no «Sunflower» fragrance, it wasn’t that simple :)
As for the people who complain about the parking, there’s always plenty, directly below the store in the parking garage, and it’s less of a walk than if you went to the Woodfield store. I completely agree with the person who advised not to even bother trying to get one of the 20 spots in the «lot.»
In sum, smaller store may not have everything you need, but management is so friendly and helpful they will ensure you do not leave unhappy.

Love this Bath & Body Works location! I know the parking can be a hassle, but there is an underground lot– don’t even bother trying to get one of the 20 spots up top. This store is great, the associates are helpful and they have a good selection. Here’s a tip: on days like Black Friday– this is the place to go, Woodfield gets CRAZY busy, but this one is never too bad.
One of my favorite products are the 3 wick candles– they are awesome! Same with the handsoaps, which I heard they are reformulating. Actually I could care less about the lotions and potions, this is my go-​to home fragrance and hand soap place.

I went to this location last Saturday to check out some potential Christmas gifts. This is a smaller store so I was a little nervous that it might have been packed. But to my delight, it was not too bad. A very nice, young sales girl helped me pick out the perfect gifts for my sons’ girlfriends and I left the store feeling satisfied with my purchases. The only downfall to this location is the parking — very small parking lot.

Despite that, my experience here was great. They were completely out of a certain hand soap, but they had ONE pre-​packaged giftset that included it and graciously allowed me to open and break up the giftset just so I could have that scent.
The only sales associate on the floor and ringing up customers had the patience of a saint while dealing with a woman who would NOT for the life of her understand a coupon’s fine print, and held up the line while she was told the same thing over and over again. The associate was a lot nicer than I would have been. As a side note, PLEASE read the fine print before presenting a coupon, so the 6 people in back of you don’t have to roll their eyes at your idiocy.
I can’t say that I would be back here, but that is only because I am never in this area and it was an impulse stop in. Given the 15 minute hassle of trying to find a parking spot (ended up in the parking garage) sort of clinches that.

While I do love BBW products, this particular location does have some issues. The selection is smaller than their larger stores so everything online may not always be in this store. This location is always clean and organized … even during busy sales like the semi annual sale! Another issue that seems to be prevelant is associates being unaware of the company exchange/​return policy. I had a defective product that I was told flat out I could not just exchange and was only given a credit that was about ¹⁄₁₀^th of the price I paid for the product. Incredibly frustrating that a customer would know company policy better than employees. BBW customer service is great though if you call them and they do a wonderful job to correct any wrongdoings at store level. Overall not a bad store, I just wish the above mentioned problems were non existent!

This location is great because it’s right in downtown Arlington Heights. LOVE me some Bath & Body Works. But this store is a bit small, and the parking can be a hassle. I still go here though when necessary because it’s right by my dog-​food store. The ladies are always friendly, and just like most stores this one is bright and clean. By all means, shop away.
