This should not be posted with motels in Arkadelphia, AR. We mistakenly booked our son into this when he had car trouble. He walked 5 miles from Arkadelphia to its actual location in Caddo Valley. Even the Google map shows it in downtown Arkadelphia. Location, location, location.

Excellent experience. I can’t remember the name of the girl who checked us in but I think it was Charity or Chelsea… something like that. She was efficient and hospitable. Clean, inexpensive room. We were exhausted from traveling all evening. I would stay there again.

Ok, the plan was to get to Memphis that night. Mother Nature had other plans, and I decided it wasn’t safe for me to keep driving @ 4 am. Quality Inn, no rooms. Motel 6? WOOHOO! Now the room. Typical Motel 6 room. Clean, quiet, and got the job done. Bed was ok. I really wish other hotel/motels would go to a laminate flooring like Motel 6. Staff was AWESOME! Parking was easy and plentiful.

If you want a clean, simple room this is a good place to stay. It is a whole lot cleaner than most other Motel 6’s. And it’s cheaper than anywhere else in town, and right off the highway(accessible from McDonald’s parking lot).

Before I visited this hotel, I called ahead and spoke to the management. I was on a cross-country trip and wanted to make sure it was going to be a good place for me to stay. I asked about wi-fi, late check in, etc. When I arrived at this hotel, the woman I spoke to on the phone was working there with another man. Both were exceptionally nice. I had driven for a few days in order to see my sick grandmother and I was a bit scatterbrained. In fact, I wasn’t entirely sure if it was in my best interest to stay there or continue driving another hour or two. However, it was late and I really needed a place to stay and I was tired. They were happy with me sitting in one of their comfy chairs in their waiting room, in front of the TV, as I mulled over my choices. Eventually, after calculating miles and minutes and everything in between, I decided this was the best place for me to stay. It was also clean, nice-looking and conveniently located. They said the rooms didn’t have a refrigerator, but they were happy to let me keep my burritos, carrots and water in their personal frig. This was very nice of them because this was certainly something they didn’t have to do. My room was great. It had everything I needed. There was parking directly in front of my room’s window, so that was cool. I was able to keep an eye on my car, but the place seemed plenty safe. It was simply a new place for me to be in, so I wanted to look out. I slept in and left right before check out. I asked them about the coffee they had mentioned the night before and they said it was all gone. However, they offered to make me some and I said, «Yes, please.» They made me a pot of coffee and poured nearly the entire pot into my 17 ounce Starbucks travel cup. I was stoked. The same man and a different woman were working when I was leaving. She was very nice and friendly. All three of the associates I spoke to were very warm, friendly and nice. I asked this woman where I could find a Walmart in order to fill up my 3 gallon water container and she gave me fantastic directions. I give this place two thumbs up and I highly recommend it. The wi-fi was nice and strong and the heater was very warm, too. Thanks!

We stayed at this Motel 6 on a recent trip to Shreveport, LA. We chose it by price related to other hotels at that exit on I-30 as it was a predetermined stopping point during our trip. While the rate was good(46.xx) for two adults and a child on a Friday night, I still think I overpaid for the room. The room was old in appearance and just left you feeling like you needed more. Outside the building were multiple signs about locking your doors in your cars at all times. The staff actually recommended we park the vehicle immediately outside the window of our room. We were also disappointed in the fact that the room didn’t have shampoo or soap and the front desk didn’t have any either. So this made it necessary to make a late night run to Wal-mart. Even with my disappointment of the room, the staff was friendly. It isn’t their fault the place they work at is sub-par.
