I just had the best and worse customer service experience in the world. I made my reservation over the phone at U-Haul’s 1 – 800 number for the Saturday after Christmas. I showed up at my appointed time and the place was closed. I walked around the side of the building and found David who was there on his day off. Let me just say this guy did not have to help me but he took pity on me. He called U-Haul to fix the mistake and after being put on hold twice and hung up on by U-Haul’s traffic control he found someone to talk him through taking a payment and rented me a truck. He spent his time and energy on his day off to accomodate me and I am very thankful. I would definitely rent from Jim Campen U-Haul again, but next time I’ll call them directly.
