Alyssa is so wonderful. She is attentive, approachable, and knowledgeable. She has a great and peaceful set up with such attention to detail to makes the experience as comfortable as possible. Just seeing her and being in her office gives me relief. Her private sessions are affordable and not to mention the amazingly accessible community acupuncture. You truly feel like she cares about you and remembers all your needs from session to session even if you primarily attend the community acupuncture. I love acupuncture for a wide variety of issues and always see all walks of life at community. I am so grateful to have found Alyssa!

I am new to acupuncture and was apprehensive about the treatment and it’s effect. So I was really surprised about how great I felt after my first session! It helped the pain in my hand and elbow and my knee! I also had this awesome euphoric high for the rest of the day. On my second visit I went into a community acupuncture session. It was such a warm inviting and relaxing atmosphere. I was able to float away on my own cloud, relaxed and peaceful, truly forgetting there were others around. I am happy to have found Alyssa! I need to schedule with her more often!

Alyssa is a great acupuncturist ! My main focus has been on fertility issues I wasn’t having my monthly cycles which I’ve been going every week for about 2 months now and also drinking herbs and this month I had a normal cycle. She’s also helped with my headaches which I was having a few days almost every week ! I look forward to my weekly appointments it’s very relaxing and is such a stress reliever!

I have had nothing but positive results in my treatments with her and the almost immediate positive outcomes after a session make seeing her a pleasure and a relief. Acupuncture with Alyssa Melody was not my first acupuncture experience in the Arcata/​Eureka area, but now is my favorite. The first treatment I received from her was at a community clinic. I was impressed both with Alyssa’s professional approach and the results I felt. Alyssa has a calm, caring and approachable demeanor. This made me feel very comfortable communicating my conditions as well as safe and relaxed during the session. I recommend her to everyone I know!

I called Alyssa last minute because I sprained my ankle and couldn’t even walk. After seeing her I can honestly say that I feel 90% better! She was extremely knowledgable about herbs and other treatments that have helped me recover. I can’t say enough how great she is and wouldn’t hesitate referring her to anyone that needs healing. She exudes kind ind and warm energy I will definitely be seeing her again… and I urge the same for you. she takes healing personally and puts her heart and soul into it. easily one of the best acupuncturists I’ve ever been to.

I’ve had acupuncture treatments with Alyssa over the past few years and I really can’t say enough about how great my experiences have been.
She has successfully treated me for everything from stress to colds to menstrual cramps. Her grounded and non-​judgmental demeanor makes it easy to feel comfortable and supported.
She is always very clear and upfront about treatments and expectations. And I love that she always has great advice on herbs, supplements and natural remedies.

Alyssa is an excellent acupuncturist. She is kind compassionate, humble, non judgmental, and she really knows her profession. Not only is she skilled at placing needles, Alyssa has an extensive knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine. When I haven’t had time to get acupuncture she has read my tongue, taken my pulse and bagged up my remedy with efficiency. She has helped me clear up several problems and the results are immediate. I am very impressed with her skill and she will be my acupuncturist as long as I am in the vicinity of her practice. I have referred her to many without the blink of an eye. This community has been blessed with her presence.
