this is my new go to salon. i love love love it! i can’t emphasize how much i love my new brazilian blowout, i’ve had a few brazilian blowouts in my life but they’ve never been as nice as this one. i think the way rene did it was different than i’m used to; i noticed another review mentioned he didn’t part the hair with clips and there was a fan in front of you, he used a flat brush rather than a round 1, and the hair gets tangled and i experienced those same things, except the tangled hair. i wasn’t crazy about the fan being in my face either but in my opinion, the end result is what matters the most and my hair looks amazing, therefore, i am a happy camper. granted, i am still on day 1 when your hair still looks and smells great :p i’ll update my review in a few months to see how the blowout is holding up. another really great thing about this salon is that rene offers a touch up for $ 30 in 2 months to keep the look longer. he says he charges $ 30 for a regular blowout and he just wont charge for the serum that is used and the flat ironing. that is 1 great deal!!!

Rene is a miracle worker! In this heat my hair gets frizzy and so hard to style. I usually drive down to Korea town to get my hair this soft and silky, and pay twice as much! I recommend everyone with Filipino hair to go to Rene, you will not regret it! And a bonus is his laid back sweet demeanor. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to Rene for the past couple years for my Brazilian blowouts. I’ve gotten it done at other places, but this is the most affordable I’ve seen and in a very convenient location. Lots of parking available in the back and he even opens late after work hours. The price of the blowout depends on the length of hair, since it needs more serum and takes longer. It lasts me 3 – 4 months and he can do touch ups in between. Definitely worth a try if you have frizzy and unmanageable hair, makes daily hair maintenance a breeze.
