Nothing fancy but a good neighborhood diner. They have the best fresh baked bread and green salads to start. Seriously delicious! The servers are always very friendly. The chicken pies are decent and the peas and carrots are a bit over cooked. Nonetheless my family loves this place because it feels like good comfort food and the portions are large. I like to order the gravy and dressing on the side because they tend to lay it on thick.

I was very disappointed today! The service was bad. Chicken pot pie flavorless. The waitress, Bo, forgot to bring the soup before the meal. She seemed very distracted. The pie tasted store bought/not fresh. I have always loved this restaurant! I’m not sure if it’s under new management or ownership. It definitely is not the same.

Came here for the first time with my Dad. We both ordered the chicken pie dinner. I got mine with salad, my Dad got clam chowder. Then, for dessert(came with dinner) I got the apple pie and he ordered the blueberry pie, but was brought the boysenberry pie. The table that we sat at was not cleaned. There were grease stains and crumbs. The service was ok. Wait time for food was ok. The salad was interesting, had canned beans on top. The chicken pie dinner was ok. The green beans were from a can and there were instant mashed potatoes which tasted a little odd to me. The chicken pie was alright, had a lot of chicken chunks. The bread seemed fresh and was very soft. Pie was good, but would have been better if they had heated it up before serving it. Price was very good, ~$ 12.20.

No flavor at all. Two slices of complimentary bread… meh… Im sorry but I definitely would not recommend this place.

UPDATE: I’m gonna go ahead and give Moffett’s a full five-stars this time. I deducted one last time because they show nothing but Fox News on the TV, and I’m a lib… but, well, it’s not really their fault. The average age of the patrons in here is about 80, so I’m not gonna hold it against them! I say that as lovingly as possible. I’ll never understand how otherwise decent, nice, loving people can all whole-heartedly give their attention to the most hateful tripe of modern time; but it has nothing to do with their chicken pies, hot brewed coffee, friendly service and fact that they’re just the comfiest place to go for an early dinner. **** When one sees the sign on the side of the building, just the sheer anticipation of anything coming out of a «Chicken Pie Shoppe» is enough to make one do a screaming u-turn in the middle of the street and pointedly drive toward the non-descript restaurant. The portions of clam chowder, although slightly tinier than what I’d hoped – were a pleasant holdover for the main course – in my case I landed on roasted turkey Friday! This classic American offering and it’s trimmings were all as promised, and I enjoyed the pie and rice pudding that I took home. Fox News on the TV? I’m sorry. If one is striving for decency, for family, for honest values… then I’m afraid that’s a poor choice for your patrons.

Well today was disappointing. Came in to buy mash potatoes. You would have to send in 4 people to get a gravy for each order 3.40 per pint. Only one gray for four pints. Whats wrong with this picture. The customer serves buying the one pie was fine earlier. The girl assisting this time placed order of potatoes in paper bag left after speaking about the gravy never came back not a nice attitude. Then I had to ask another person at cash register about gravy and a plastic bag to place paper bag that was weighted down. Which they didn’t bag just supplied plastic bag. Never had this happen here before. You would have to purchase each pint separate to get a gravy per pint. Sad… Maybe not returning.

Food is pretty bland but appeals to an older crowd. Nothing a little salt won’t fix, huh? My server, Robbie seated me, took my order, delivered my order but never came back to check on me. I had to flag her down for the check. It’s 2:30 in the afternoon on a Wednesday and not crowded. This is why this was not a five-star experience. On the bright side, I have had their famous pot pies in the past and they are DEELISH! And I don’t even really LIKE pit pies. Now, that’s saying something.

I should thank my dad for having a chicken pot pie craving. Because of him I stumbled upon this place, while shopping at a CVS next door. My foodie radar is always on the lookout. I could not believe my eyes. I went in and ordered 4 to-go(all made with chicken breast). They also have the dark mixed meat option. You have a choice to having it hot or cold(uncooked), which you can bake at home. I was hungry and ordering the pre-made version was the best option for me. When I got home, both my dad and I gobbled it up within minutes. SOGOOD. The individual size was perfect. I had mine with a little sriracha but then I add sriracha to everything. I really recommend that you try it. Since that initial visit, I went back again just recently. I ordered 8 to-go. I really think that I have a problem. It’s a good thing I live 35 miles away. I have never sat down and eat at the restaurant. It never occurred to me that it is actually a diner style restaurant. I guess I never made it past the front counter. *RECOMMENDED*

no stars DONOTEATHERE!!! unless u hate me. Today was my first and last time i will ever come here. I was excited to try this restaurant I thought what a great place to eat on my lunch I thought I would become a regular but instead I was practically thown out. I ordered a western burger it was $ 8.45 plus tax total $ 9.21 on my lunch break so when my food was ready I decided just to sit and eat it in the restaurant cause I wanted to relax. The Manger/owner saw me eating & started yelling at me. He said you see everyone around u has a plate(pointing at all the people eating like I was so stupid) & that’s why we give discounts for to go orders. You can’t eat that here. It was so mean he didn’t have to yell at me in front of everyone & he stood standing over me until I left. I just got up & left I only had taken a bite. I didn’t say anything I just left & I could not eat after that. I wish I woulda just left my food there for him to clean up. worst service ever!!! I don’t know what discount he was talking about I didn’t get a discount but I woulda paid an extra fee for manners.

I specifically came here because after three days being bedridden, I wanted to eat at a slow, casual place where I could relax and take my time. This waitress named Paulina decides that I’m not worth the restaurant’s time. So I ask what’s the lunch special and order, sort of felt rushed, but I ignored it. The food comes quickly and I thank her for that. I’m not even halfway through the meal, and she asks if I need anything else. Nope. And throws down the bill. Okay, usually an annoying sign that I need to hurry, but the restaurant isn’t full, and it’s just senior citizens. The guy behind me was talking about pruning his trees. Waitress does not tell me to take my time. I’m done with the meal and working on the biscuits. And she takes one plate. Okay, I figure she really wants me to rush. So I don’t have change to tip and put a $ 20 bill down at my table and I wait for change. I finish my biscuit, wait for the waitress to break the change, and wait a decent amount of time. I figure she’s busy, so I walk up to the register to pay. She quickly grabs my dirty dishes, and throws it as loud as she can into the dirty dishes area! I wanted to sit there a little more and relax! Even the girl at the register turns her head around. I grab the change and left. No tip for a bad attitude! If you don’t want me at your restaurant, I’ll just buy a frozen Marie Calendar pie! At least I can take my time at home!

This place has been around for quite some time now that it has been known for their Chicken Pot Pies. I haven’t been here for a while now until I went here again recently since I was craving some chicken pot pie. A chicken pot pie comes with vegetables, mashed potato, bread and soup. The price for the meal is something was worth for what you pay for and probably worth more actually than what you end up paying. It was well worth the cost especially for the portions and the taste. You don’t necessarily need to order their meals as you can order their pot pie by itself but who can refuse that? Delicious pot pie, well worth the cost and added bonus of the sides is what makes this place great. I did order take out though and didn’t dine-in so next time I’ll need to dine in and check out the service. However if you’re looking for a nice dinner at home and craving some pot pies, this place is the place to go.

This place has a southern comfort vibe to it which I do like quite a bit. Came here around dinner time and we chose to sit at the bar,(no wait). There’s a lot of bar space so not much to worry compared to the booths. The service was awesome. Everyone’s friendly which made the meal that much more enjoyable. We ordered the chicken pot pie dinner combo which included soup or salad and to our surprise, dessert! We chose the tomato bisque which was very tangy but also creamy as well. I think it was seasoned a bit too much but nothing like the crackers to tone it down. The chicken pot pie which included mashed potatoes, peas and carrots was a perfect combination to balance out the meal. The pot pie came out piping hot with so much gravy. It was quite starchy inside and out but who can deny that gluttony goodness. I couldn’t have asked for a more filling dinner. Honestly you get a bang for your bucks here with the dinner combo. Although I was full from my dinner they also include dessert which we chose vanilla ice cream and bread pudding. Not gonna lie the bread pudding was dreamy! Although I was full and the pudding was very rich I couldn’t stop eating it. It definitely hit the spot!

The food is good and fast but only if you can get someone to take your order. The servers are the slow, slow, slow, very unfriendly, and the owner won’t even say hello. Not sure I will be back.

This place reminds me of my grandmas kitchen lol. The servers have always been friendly and attentive in my visits here. The chicken pot pies are delicious, the bread is soft and the pie that comes with the chicken pot pie dinner is good too. The dinner is 12 dollars and it comes with the pot pie, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and a dessert of your choice. Would recommend.

This place has the timeless classics feel, both in its menu and ambience. This is a place that withstood the test of time, right here in Arcadia. This invokes memories of an earlier era. A time when you could go explore the neighborhood and didn’t go home until the streetlights came on. A time when you could smoke indoors, bring a gun into the airport, and smack your kids(or at least threaten to «Put them through a wall!»). The food here is the best comfort food America has to offer, all the stuff your parents used to eat, and maybe even you used to eat, back in the day before the world changed. I love the chicken pot pies, my brother loves the burgers. This is the best kept secret of Arcadia and the SGV. The service here is good too. «M» is for«Moffett’s», so come and get your love…

This place should have no negative reviews, it’s that good. Home cooked taste that makes you feel like you just eat thanksgiving dinner… Nothing tastes too salty which I was scared of. Perfectly seasoned maybe just needs a lil tapito. Also the bread they serve complimentary is so delicious ! And good service Yay to this place !

Walking into Moffett’s restaurant is like walking into a piece of Americana history of the 1970s. The Decour hasn’t changed much since it first opened 41 years ago. If you’re looking for comfort food this is your place. The chicken pies and the beef pies are a wonderful treat. They’re full of meat with a nice flaky crust. Try their lunch special which is the all a cart +2 dollars to make it a special with the sides. Also try the hamburgers. Before you leave don’t forget to take home one of their delicious pies. We tried the boysenberry. You can also take home their chicken pies and beef pies to bake later. They also have homemade side dishes to go, coleslaw was our favorite. Unfortunately, I deducted a star for the service, which was very slow. Besides us there were only 4 other customers and two servers.

In brief: a hungry couple can walk in here with a $ 20 bill between the two of them, and walk out with a doggie bag after consuming various American comfort food items drizzled with butter, creamy sauces, and brown gravy. Moffett’s is THE local spot to purchase chicken pot pies. With two parts nostalgia, one part mashed potatoes, and liberal amounts of corn starched n salted pan drippings, I fully expect to see Ward and June Cleaver enjoying a meal with their boys here. Moffet’s harkens to a time when the demographics of Arcadia were a lot different, but it has stood the tests of time and change, and kept her grace and style, just like Carol Brady managed to keep her girlish figure eating Alice’s meatloaf sandwiches. The old timey goodness is palpable, but not in a campy or annoying way… Just good food that makes you somewhat glad that you haven’t let your gym membership lapse, and optimistically– hopeful that by not eating the edge of the pie crust, you stayed under your target carbs limit. Not likely, Gravy the Hutt. By the way, your napkin is still tucked in under your chin… A great look for CVS next door… Especially if you’re buying diet pills and a Fleet enema four-pack. If you’re a regular at Moffet’s, you know what I’m talking about.

Marie Calendar’s chicken pot pies ain’t got nothing on this place, lol! I’d use to come here prior to my Unilocal days, and still do, especially, when I’m craving some good olé fashion, home-cookin’, comfort food :) A lil hole in the wall, Mom and Pop joint, the food here is delicious! Today, I got the Chicken Pot Pie Combo(5 Course Meal) under the Dinner section. It comes with: 1. Choice of Soup or Salad — I went with soup — Chicken Gumbo — generous chunks of chicken, and lots of crackers. It was a bit salty, but add some crackers and the sodium balanced out nicely. 2. Side veggies — steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. They were a tad mushy for me, but still edible. Then again, they make it that way since majority of the clientele are older, Caucasian folks. 3. Complimentary house bread — it used to be a small loaf with about 3 – 4 thick slices. Now it’s just one small bread — two slices. Still, the bread was fluffy ans delicious. Soak that puppy up with the gravy — oh so good!!! :) 4. Two Chicken Pot Pies(the waitress will asks you if you want the other pot pie to take home or eating it there. I took my other half home for Mom, and the plate they bring to you will definitely make happily stuffed). My Mom digged it and managed to polish off half of the pot pie. Cuz that’s a big progress since her neck surgery. Loved my chicken pot pies — they’re large(think softball size) with generous amount of big chicken pieces. The crust is flaky and golden, and pour over the delicious gravy = YUM!!! 5. Served with dessert — either rice pudding, pie or something else. I chose Apple Pie — didn’t like it. It was wayyyyy too tart, and the apples tasted overcooked. It’s just a plain slice — not even a lil bi5 of whipped cream on top. I should’ve gotten the rice pudding instead. Service: On point and attentive. My waitress, Paula was on point with checking on me, and repeating back what I ordered. Pay: Waitress will bring you the check and you pay up front. Overall, I’ve liked this place prior to my Unilocal days. The pot pies and the other dish I do like(Chicken and Noodles) are spot on! Can’t wait to try their beef pot pies next time when I’m craving some good olé fashion, home-cookin’, comfort food, yay! :)

This review is for a take-out order but we will hopefully be dining in sometime soon! I ate half of a hot chicken(white & dark meat) pie, and it was crazy delicious. Nothing but tender chicken in a cream sauce and flaky pastry. The flavor of it was super nostalgic and comforting. Roomie and I split the pie in the half, made a salad, and called it a light dinner, and it really left us wanting more. We also ordered several unbaked beef pies for a potluck(we’re lazy, I know). I popped them in the oven for 40 minutes or so and they were delicious even a couple hours later. They definitely are known for one thing and they do it really well.

Old but goodie! This place really needs a revamp in the décor. It’s like back to the past circa 1980! Food was great, inexpensive and makes you full. Great comfort food. Kids noodle plate was huge and I could have had it too! Plain no frills type of meal, but awesome! The only strange thing is that their chicken pot pie is all chicken and no veggies at all. It would be five stars if they had some potato, carrots, onions or some type of veggies in there. They serve you a warm bread with your dinner special and soup or salad. I chose the soup and loved it!

i got the chicken pot pie combo to go, and it was alriiight. no veggies in the meat pie, just chicken and cream. the side of carrots were cold. potato cream soup has a ginseng flavor; love ginseng but not with potato cream? to top it off, they forgot the bread and butter. however, this place gets an extra star just for their selection of fruit pies(with a decent crust)! they have rhubarb, pumpkin, blueberry, peach, cherry, raspberry, boysenberry and apple all year long

Truly a hidden gem! It may look a little old but this restaurant gives you an old diner feel which is not a bad thing. A pretty quiet spot where the locals come for comfort food and friendly service during lunch or dinner. I enjoy their food very much, I even buy the pint gravy to compliment the meals that are cooked at home during the holidays. The chicken pot pies here are the best I have had by far. I always have to order one and they are a decent size. They also sell them fresh and freeze them for when you want to have them at home(bake for about 45 mins). I love the chicken and noodle dinner plate or you can get the combo. I always order the combo which gives you the option to add a pot pie to your meal. The dinner also includes soup or salad(delicious with the bean salad), whipped potatoes, gravy, veggies, bread and butter and your choice of dessert(usually a variety of pies to choose from or jello). The mushroom melt is also pretty good if you’re in the mood for that. This is a great place to enjoy a quiet lunch or dinner with friends or family with delicious food. I will be back because this is definitely one of my favorite spots!

Omg!!! This place is amazing. I’ve never had a real home made pot pie, I’ve only had that frozen crap you get in the freezer at northgate. So far I have been here numerous times and there is no complaint. Everything is good here and everybody is nice and friendly. It is very mom and pop and they have constant regulars usually the«older generation» Bread is super soft and fluffy and the pies are creamy and hearty. PS. Soup or salad is included with each dinner and dessert too! If you want good ol’ american dinner. then this is the place to go

If your grandma is still alive and you praise a restaurant for being just like grandma’s house, are you a bad person for having gone to the restaurant instead of visiting your grandma? In any case, this place is just like grandma’s house, from the charmingly worn-out, sun-faded wood to the walls having wallpaper on them. It’s magical if only because the ambiance channels grandma’s bygone era as well as it does. Then there’s the food. Forget about ordering anything besides the chicken pot pie. Then order two of those pies. The chicken pot pie is out of this world. Although, I do wish they had crammed some more veggies inside the pie.(The beef version isn’t all that great.) They also let you buy unbaked pies to go and they are pretty inexpensive. Like, comparable to the frozen kind you’d find at the grocery store. Some people might knock a star or two off their review because they tried one of the other food options at this place. So keep that in mind. My review focuses on the chicken pot pie and the ambiance.

As a kid, we used to go to Moffett’s on Lakewood in Bellflower, all the time. I was glad to find this location a couple of years ago. It’s a bit of a drive, but, well worth it. The food is GREAT, the service is friendly & helpful, and it brings back some good memories. There are plenty of things on the menu, but, if you haven’t had a chiken-pot-pie, you are missing out. Come give it a try!

I came here yesterday for the first time and it’s one of those little family owned type restaurants. The décor in there reminds me of some type of country western style theme. Also I did not give this place 5 stars because our service was ok, but the food was good though! I got the chicken pie dinner and it came with a choice of soup or salad, and a dessert. The free bread was really good too! From what I remember the prices of the food here is pretty decent so you can get a good amount of food for cheap, hahahha! I will probably come here again to try the other foods on their menu.

First time patronizing this location and interesting experience. It’s a bit of a time warp as the interior decorating is like the 80’s diner type of ambience. I ordered the club burger as I am always interested in anything similar to the great club sandwich. The sandwich was unfortunately not amazing(though it looked awesome), but that’s my fault as this place is known for the pot pies. Luckily I was able to taste the chicken pot pie from my wife’s plate, and it was quite delicious. Overall, I’ll have to come back and explore the menu, but first impression was pretty pleasant. The waitress, although to the point, was cordial and attentive. The price was similar to diner-type locations and parking was ample.

Walking in to the dining area will bring your senses back to an old Alabama colonial kitchen, floral curtains with wooden chairs and always greeted with a smile. Before your meal, old fashioned yeast bread is served hot and soft. Steam is softly billowing as you break bread with your company. Some things are better when it’s not«fusion.» Pot pies here have the buttery and flaky crust that makes your mouth automatically go MMMMMMMMMMMM. Filling is a great balance of meats and veggies. My favorite is the beef pot pie, has a bit more ‘uhmph’ for the taste and texture. They had a deal where you can try both of their pies either in one sitting, or have one done in and the other as take home. This deal is worth it! Best of both chicken AND beef!

Finding good comfort food is hard to find in the city of L.A. and surrounding cities area especially scatch made pot pie. Couple of my friends including some of my Unilocal friends recommended Moffett’s family restaurant & chicken pot pie shoppe in the city of Arcadia. Our first choice was Mama’s Petrillo’s pizzeria when I told my wife about Moffett’s family restaurant & chicken pot pie shoppe, she change her mind and wants chicken pot pie. When we arrive at the shopping center we couldn’t see the restaurant but it was well hidden. This is our first time at Moffett’s it been in the same location since 1975 that’s 40 years no wonder this restaurant is so popular with locals. When we walk in it feel going in the 70’s. We got seated right away and look at the menu and decided what to get. We decided to get the chicken combo it comes with two pot pies and choice of soup or salad plus dessert. Waiting for our meal the waitress brought us complimentary bread already cut in slices and nice and warm from oven. Then the waitress brought us our meal, the pot pie looks so good and couldn’t wait to take a bite of the chicken pot pie. The pie is amazing good each bite have so much flavors and crust is nice and golden brown with a crunch that my wife and I enjoy it. The mashed potatoe have unbelievable flavor and silky texture that my wife and I wanted more. The green bean were good. Overall Moffett’s family restaurant & pot pie shoppe is great and the costumer service was good and we will come back soon.

I have been asking my husband to take me here for 2 years! I walked in and I felt like I went back in time a few decades!!! I loved it. Old-fashioned plates, seats, décor, everything! I got the chicken pie dinner and husband got the beef pie dinner. The dinners come with a soup/salad, bread, dinner with mashed potatoes & veggies and dessert! All for $ 14!!! What a great deal! The pies were delicious! But it was so much food– I had to take it home. They let us take the dessert home! We took boysenberry pies home and had it with coffee ;) I am definitely coming back! Yay!

Was discussing restaurants in the Arcadia area and Moffett’s came up as being a unique restaurant in a predominantly Asian area. Surprisingly, I’ve driven by this strip mall countless and times and never have I even stopped by. Arrived early on a weekday to find a few people already dining inside. Since having heard good things about their chicken pot pie, I knew that was what I would order. To my surprise I had no idea the meal would include a salad, bread, pot pie, and choice of pie and all for $ 12(yes I didn’t look at their menu). The meal was enough for two to share and ended up eating most of it minus the pie. The pot pie was hearty and full of chicken and pretty tasty. I did take it to go so the crust of the pot pie was a soggy by the time I was able to eat it but it was buttery. The mashed potatoes were good as they provided plenty of gravy for both the pie and the potatoes. Wasn’t a fan of the carrots included though. The peach pie I ordered is still sitting in the fridge as I type this review. Would definitely go back to try their beef pie and as others have mentioned for an additional $ 3 or so you can get two pot pies.

Friends wanted to go here. Must admit that the nice aroma of fresh food was a good welcome as well as the nice hostess who sat us by the window. Great excellent service from waitress Bo. Bo got us a nice fresh warm complimentary bread. Looked like a mini loaf of bread. Ice tea was nice and fresh. Creamy chicken soup was just perfect. Salad had a delicious taste. Chicken pot pie was very tasty which came with a side of mashed potatoes topped with gravy. I do feel the crust needs to be cooked slightly a bit more. Yet, I would wonder if doing this would dry out the internal ingredients of the pie. Dessert which was a great choice by our waitress Bo, was a delicious boysenberry. This was perfect to end my meal. I would definitely come back just to try their rib eye steak sandwich which I saw on another table. Looked yummee.

Came by here this past Friday for an early lunch with my mom around 11:45 am. There were quite a number of tables already taken by the time we came, mostly the older crowd. After browsing the menu, we ended up ordering the chicken pot pie dinner($ 11.60 prior to tax) that comes with: Complementary Bread– The bread came out nice and warm and soft. It was also nearly presliced which made it easier to grab a slice with our soup. (For the chicken pot pie dinner, you have your choice of soup or salad) Clam Chowder– I liked my cup of clam chowder but it was smaller than expected. But I was pretty stuffed with my meal so it is probably better for the smaller size. Split Pea– My mom ordered this and I thought it tasted good. The saltiness of the ham really added flavor to the soup and the bread complemented this soup. Chicken Pot Pie– You have your choice of having your pot pie with either white meat only(additional $ 0.95 for all white meat, which is not mentioned on the menu nor did our sever mention it when she took our order) or mixed with dark meat. I opted for all white meat and my mom opted for mix. My mom really enjoyed her pot pie and I really enjoyed mine. I thought that both of our pot pies had pretty big chunks of chicken meat. Unlike other pot pies, these pot pies only contains meat and sauce and no vegetables. This dinner plate also comes with a scoop of mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes needed more flavor(it also comes with clear gravy spread of top but you can ask for gravy on the side if you rather not have it on your mashed potatoes and pie). The green beans were overly cooked and very soft, but since the majority crowd that dine here appear to be the elderly, I can see how they cook the vegetables to that specific population. (For the chicken pot pie dinner, you have an option of any dessert off the dessert menu) Rice Pudding– My mom opted for the rice pudding, which was pretty good. The rice was tender and had the right amount of cinnamon and sweetness. The size of the dessert was a pretty good size as well. Bread Pudding– I decided to go with the bread pudding and really enjoyed it as well. But would have preferred to have this served warm instead of cold. Raspberry Pie– I ordered a chicken pot pie dinner to go for my husband and he also enjoyed his meal. For the dessert, I just asked for a slice of their pie and told the server to just surprise me. My husband thought this pie was good but standard to other raspberry pies that he has had. — — — — — — — — — — - Total for 3 meals $ 38.97, prior to tip(although that seems quite pricey, the amount of food you get for one meal is more than enough for one person, which I did have leftovers and so did my mom). Service was pretty slow and almost nonexistent. There was only 2 servers working when we arrived. It took some time for us to make our order after we sat ourselves(there is a sign says to seat yourself). When we ordered our water, our server brought a really full glass of water and spilled it on our table and on my pants, which she did not bother to apologize and bring extra napkins. And with the lack of service, our server did not check up on us too often. Her performance is taken into consideration when paying tip(but of course since I plan on coming back here, I will never give no tip because severs have good memory for things like this). Overall, food was pretty good but service is less than stellar. I think the next time I come here, I will probably order to go(which is pretty fast because I think it was only 5 minutes after I told the server that I wanted to order a chicken pot pie dinner to go for my husband and it was brought out pretty quick). You can also purchase frozen pot pies as well here(you bake them for 30 minutes at your own home… not sure if it is cheaper to purchase them frozen or not. I did see that it cost $ 3.65 for a frozen chicken pie, prior to tax) but make sure you come early because I came one evening and they were all sold out of their chicken pot pies. This restaurant is located in the same plaza as CVS and Ramen Yukinoya with plenty of parking. Décor in this place is quite outdated, but it adds to it’s charm.

A friend/coworker recommended their chicken pot pies repeatedly to me and I finally had the chance to pick up and give them a try. Now I know why they were highly recommended! This place makes delicious and savory pot pies. Will definitely be back soon! Picked up two chicken pot pies(mixed white/dark), two beef pot pies, and coleslaw for dinner at home for two. Bill was about $ 16, which was a bargain. Directions for cooking the pot pies were very easy to follow, and the pot pies turned out perfect. My friend/coworker told me that one pot pie per person is more than sufficient, but we wanted to try both the chicken and beef potpies. Could not stop eating them and we were stuffed. Maybe next time we’ll each have one and share a third. Coleslaw was a very good side for the potpies. Reminded us of the coleslaw at KFC but this was better. Would love to dine in next time. Place looked old school with plenty of charm!
