I don’t know how this place got pretty good reviews. I just walked out of the store and unfortunately I wasn’t very happy. The sales person was not friendly and seemed like he hated his job. I wanted to look at the product I was about to buy but I he glared at me so I just quickly bought it and left. I came here several times before today and he was the same all the other times. Has a good selection but customer service wasn’t very good. I would check Amazon first because the item I got was more than half off.

Yessss! This is where I come for my masks and makeup! I’m so excited that they carry dolly wink without completely over pricing the product. My only complaint is that there is A LOT of products in here and it is a little disorganized. Also I wish that the products consistently had the prices on it. The store has a pretty extensive collection of NYX products and are always rolling in the newest products from across the seas. This is definitely my go to place when I need my goods! Stop in, I guarantee that you’ll be browsing for a long time!

I really love it there! I’m korean and I was looking for stuff that is sold in Korea like aritaum, étude house, tony moly, skin food, etc. but I can never find one and if I do it was always so far away so I always had to buy stuff from drugstores… :(but I found this shop and it made me soooo happy they have a whole bunch of cute stuff that I wanted… it is a little pricey with some stuff but the owner is really nice… she even let me bargain the price haha I didn’t have money that day but yeah she’s nice the store is nice but a little pricey love it tho you should check it out!!!

I am always so amazed every time I visit Maneki Neko. There are always new products to try, and there are always so many different products to choose from. The staff there is also very friendly and knowledgeable.

The products might be cool but the woman who works there sucks and should be fired. Asked her for a specific Korean product and she barked at me with a huge No and looked away. There was no one else in the store. Did she think Whitey like me is not deserving of whatever she is selling or is customer service simply not customary in her world?

Maneki Neko has a wide variety of Asian beauty products, yay! It’s a bit overwhelming at first, so you should come in here knowing what you’re looking for. They also had this miscellaneous section that didn’t relate to beauty, but I didn’t really look at it because I was distracted by the many facial masks they carry. It’d definitely be hard to pick what you want! The staff was also very friendly! I think she was the only worker there but she was really nice. Anyways, I went in to look for Dolly Wink products because I was running out of my eyeliner. Unfortunately, it was sold out but I was happy to see they had some of the newer products from DW. I ended up buying an eyebrow pencil(That they had testers for!) and a point lame, both from Dolly Wink. Additionally, there were these Dolly Wink pamphlets that you could take(I took 2 lol.) that show Tsubasa Masuwaka modeling the new line. Since I collect those, that was a plus! They were definitely priced more than what you can get them for in Japan, but that’s understandable. But since i’m only specifying for Dolly Wink, i’m not to sure about the other prices. I know they carry a large section for NYX and also carry the popular Peripera lip tint! I’ll definitely come back if i’m ever in the urgent need for products or just to try out new things!

I love this little the store! The staff is friendly and helpful with their suggestions if you need any. With the added bonus that I don’t feel like they question how I made it to 30 and can’t tell the difference between certain beauty products and their functions. I’m usually uncomfortable in beauty shops like Sephora lol. I feel the prices are fair and the selection is actually quite varied and large. I was incredibly grateful that this store opened up as I used to drive to San Gabriel which was fine when I lived in Whittier but became a long trek when I moved to Pomona. I miss the goodness of the San Gabriel area T__T I usually come here to buy Palty or Liese Prettia hair dyes, facial masks, shampoos and facial cleansers. It is incredibly dangerous for me to walk into this store. I always wind up buying much more than I expect lol. I always figure what difference is adding a new lip color… or an eyeliner or trying out a new cream…

I hope this place never closes. It’s my go to for NYX plus they have other great cosmetic items you wouldn’t normally see at a target or cvs. And they’re always fully stocked!!!

This is a very convenient location in the Arcadia mall to get cosmetic needs for a decent price! I was able to qualify for a membership card too, which is cool. They have less variety than other places, but overall has what you need. Many BB creames, makeup removers, lashes, masks, all for a good price. Even some cute sanrio goodies in the back. The cashier there is very nice and she doesn’t bother you at all. Will be checking this place out any time I head to the mall~

This is the only place where I can get Peripera My Color lipsticks and lip glosses. They’re actually less expensive if you get them from here than online. They also have a nice selection of Asian BB creams, hair dye, skin care, tools, fragrances, etc. They also have nearly the full line of NYX cosmetics. It can get a bit pricey though. I mean, Asian cosmetics/items generally run more expensive than«local» Western brands anyway. The staff is helpful and some of them can read the Chinese and/or Japanese writing on the products. Not the Korean though.(But that’s okay; I can read Hangul.)

I happened to stumble upon this gold mine of a cosmetics store on accident while doing some, as my mom always liked to put it: «unnecessary» shopping after walking in and seeing that all the cosmetics I love and search the internet for, were all right here in this cute little store. And if that wasn’t enough that they carry my all time favorite eyelashes: Dolly Wink; they go and have the lowest price! I usually pay $ 18-$ 21 for my Dolly Winks [at a store literally down the street… grr.] and here at Maneki Neko, their EVERYDAY price is $ 15.99! Im sure by now you can tell how excited I am by this from all the !‘s after each sentence. But if you’re anything like me and one of many girls who love her cutesy, little Japanese products with the big boy price on them, then you’ll completely agree with me that Maneki Neko has some amazing deals. And to seal the deal, the guy working there [owner? employee?] was extremely friendly and helpful. There is no one complaint about this store from me. :]

YAAAY! Theres lots of cutesy japanese stores that sells those fancy overseas cosmetics… but the only difference here is they carry the full NYX line! I use to go to Ulta just for NYX, but now that its at the mall its much more convenient. They have lots of Dollywink /Darkness eyelashes, nail polish(OPI, Essie, etc), Hello Kitty items, Palty hair dye, hair products, makeup brushes, eyelid glue/tape, etc. Its similar to Takashimaya, Takashima, Cosmeland, etc. They just opened so they’re offering gifts with every purchase! The lady was still filling up the shelves in the back when I went in! Located right across from Sidecca, next to Aeropostale :)
