The quality of this joint keeps on going down. First they took away the non-shredded baby radish. Now their broccoli includes stems! The assortment of veggies also isn’t as well stocked as before. For example, on my last trip they were out of egg. The bright spot is that their prices seems to be going down as well. I ate there yesterday with Grilled Chicken as the protein and the price came out to be ~$ 6.60. One of the most affordable places to eat at the shopping center.

Great concept. I love this place. Portions are just right. The bulgogi is tasty. You can make a healthy meal or indulge with the richer toppings. I loved the spicy sauce and the cilantro dressing.

I only ate here once and now I can’t stop thinking about it. there’s something about building your own dishes that just really really appeal to me, like I love being in control and I love it when things are my way(my boyfriend can confirm this) I really wanted something light but flavorful and a friend recommended that I go try out Lettuce Go, so I walk in and there was hardly people in there, probably because it was Super Bowl Sunday and almost 6 pm. the way it works is first you choose your combo of rice and lettuce(or just rice or just lettuce), 5 free toppings($ 0.50 each extra topping), dressing(you can ask for extra on the side!), and protein($ 1.80 for extra meat). my bowl included a combination of brown rice + lettuce with corn, bean sprouts, broccoli, scrambled eggs(I kind of wanted a fried egg… but it’s a dollar extra) and tofu topped with peanut sesame dressing and curry chicken. the smell was almost intoxicating and the taste was very pleasing. I was full, but I wanted more. the nutty flavor mixed with the curry was so good that I’m convinced they lace it with heroin or crack, because I want more. I’m having withdrawals. their food is lethal. I’m gonna come back and probably buy two bowls. and I’m not sharing or stopping until I eat it all.

This place is pretty good. The bowls are big and my wife and I were able to share one. It’s worth the money. Of course, if I’m really hungry, I’d get one for myself! Come eat here before prices go up with everything else in this world! Great place for kids with the playground right out front. There isn’t a lot of seating inside but there’s a lot areas outside.

I have been wanting to try lettuce go for a while now and I was able to finally get it this past weekend! This is probably my new favorite place! Aka WAYBETTERTHANCHIPOTLE! The style is just like chipotle but with better toppings and meat! It’s located in the mall outside on the promenade next to Macy’s and red robins. The store itself it pretty small. There are a few spots to sit but there are plenty outside. They only have 1 size, and it’s huge! You can definitely share or save the rest for later. First you get to choose white or brown rice with lettuce or you can just get all lettuce. Then you get to choose 5 toppings. If you want more I believe it’s $ 0.50−60 extra, but 5 is enough in my opinion. I got corn, tomato, edamame(really good), cucumbers, and bell peppers. Next comes the sauce. Get the cilantro lemon! It’s so good and has the perfect balance of flavor! The last step is your choice of meat. I got the bulgogi beef and it was soooo good!!! So juicy and flavorful! The whole meal was so delicious! Writing this review makes me want some right now! Would definitely recommend if you’re shopping and hungry! Or just hungry! They also have stamp cards! :)

I mean Chipotle is good … until you’ve tried Lettuce Go. Ever since I picked up a seasonal job @ the mall for my long winter break, I’ve literally had Lettuce Go at least once a week. So yummy & much healthier than the other food court places. The portion size makes it pretty worth + employee discount. Ugh :’) BYOB! Build your own bowl, as you can choose the toppings alongside with brown rice, lettuce & your choice of meat. My topping options usually depend on my mood(I like croutons for a little crunch, egg, bean sprouts, cucumbers etc.), For the meat option I usually go with the beef bulgogi, but the chicken isn’t too bad either. Get the cilantro lime sauce!!! I always ask for an extra one or two on the side :) You won’t regret it.

Rarely do I come across a place where on my first bite I think«Oh, crap! I’m gonna start thinking about this place. Maybe even dream about it.» Then, as I’m about to wrap up my visit, I think«Aw, #*$@! There’s only one location of this restaurant!» Lettuce Go is one of those places in which my inner dialogue goes wild with these thoughts. My husband and I almost passed this place to go to some crappy soup place in the food court(the one literally in the middle of the food court) because it was raining. Which brings me to this side note: It kind of sucks that this is located in the outdoor portion of the mall, but it’s not too bad to the point where I’ll take off one star as this place is worthy of five whole stars. Don’t pass this place because it serves salad! Each plate comes with brown or white rice, five toppings to choose from, dressing, and a protien. They do feature some bowls, like one called the«Cilantrology», but they do not substitute anything with those bowls. Believe me, I tried. I wanted the Cilantrology, which originally comes with chicken, but I wanted to substitute with beef, and they said I have to order a custom bowl if I wanted that. My husband and I ordered our custom bulgogi beef bowl, which was in a sweet price(less than $ 8!). His bowl had a sesame peanut dressing and I had the cilantro lemon. We loved our food right off the bat! We were also happy with the portion that we had as it filled us up! Fast forward to present moment(as I compose this) — a day after our first visit — and my husband and I are talking about going there again today! Even my husband sang about Lettuce Go. Yes, in the form of the super-annoying Frozen song, «Let It Go», but it’s a clear indication that my husband loves this place(my husband only sings about places that he loves, like Flame Broiler and Green Crush). I feel it also necessary to note that my husband would never pick a salad place to eat, but this is an exception. I have already recommended this place to my vegetarian sister and the super-picky eater of my life, my mother. They do have vegetarian options here(tofu) and I know my mom will absolutely love this place. Before I end this review, I feel that it’s important to note the cleanliness of this restaurant because it seemed sparkling and well-kept. The ambiance of this restaurant, which seems simple and modern, reflects on its cleanliness. Looks like my husband and I will have lunch there again today!

I’ve been waiting a place like this… healthy-quick food for a reasonable price and the portions are not skimpy. For you meat lovers, don’t fret! This is the place where a vegetarian and his/her meat-a-tarian friend can enjoy a meal at the same time and at the same place, no one leaves unsatisfied! Did I mention the generous portion and reasonable price, yup this place has that too! The set up is like a subway-chipotle type of assembly line, this ensures accuracy and efficiency if you’re on a time restraint! So now on to the food, you can sample anything. Your choice of either white or brown rice and lettuce as your base. Don’t want lettuce and want all rice, not a problem and no extra charge… On a low carb diet, not a problem… btw this isn’t iceberg lettuce! Next onto the toppings, you get to choose 5… That’s right 5!!! Then you get to choose two sauces Then your meat choice Voila! You have yourself a quick, generously portioned and reasonably priced food! My choice was the white rice, lettuce, edamame(mixed with dried cranberries), corn, tofu and double cooked bean sprout, beef bulgogi with sesame peanut and miso mayo sauces on the side. I loved everything in my bowl and even my little rugrat ate it! Several counter seating with a few table and chair seating inside as well as table seating outdoors. Place is clean and the staff are all friendly and patient(I had a lot of questions and sampled a few sauces) So there you have it, hope you visit this place if you’re at the Santa Anita Mall in the outdoor promenade section by Macys next to the outdoor play area! FYI, Nearest restroom is by teavana

If Chipotle had a Korean brother, Lettuce Go would be him(lame, yeah). Walk down the line and you build your own lettuce bowl. You can use rice, lettuce or both as your base and you get to choose 5 toppings. Customized for YOU. Then choose your base and sauce. Pretty simple. Grilled Chicken($ 6.75) I went with the Grilled Chicken as my base and Cilantro Lemon sauce. When I come back, I’m definitely choosing both again. The cashier said their bulgolgi is also one of their more popular meats. I tried it but liked the chicken better. Grab a bowl and hang out in the promenade!

Had a quick dinner here before work one night and I really enjoyed it! It was fairly empty when I went around 5pm and I decided to make my own bowl :) You get a base of salad, brown rice, white rice, or mixed Then you get to choose 5 add ins and 1 protein along with 2 sauces :) The worker told me the bulgogi beef was the most popular and the grilled chicken the second! I decided to combine their 2 most popular sauces the cilantro + hot spicy one(can’t remember the names) ITWASSOGOOD! Perfect medley of flavors and they’re not stingy on any of the ingredient especially the meat hehe And great pricing to add! Workers were friendly and helpful They have stamp cards as well so you can work your way up to a free soda and eventually a free bowl! Will definitely be back :)

Good food but they are seriously lacking customer service. That skinny guy with glass today was so rude. Seems like he hated his job and he showed it. ½/164pm ish . Btw they also need to calm down on the sauce. Ask for half because if not u get literally get 2 cup full of sauce in your salad bowl

Lettuce Go is so good! The place is located at the outdoor Promenade section of the Santa Anita Mall near the kids play pit. It’s like Chipotle but with Korean BBQ meat instead. To order, either choose one of their creations or build your own bowl. To build your own, simply choose the base, five veggie toppings($ 0.50 for extra), sauce, and finally the protein. Everything is fresh and the portions are great. It’s a filling meal and you definitely get what you pay for. I got brown rice and lettuce with eggs, cabbage, tomatoes, corn, and cucumbers. I decided to try the cilantro lemon sauce and chose bulgolgi beef($ 7.25) for my protein. The cilantro lemon sauce tasted good, would recommend for first timers! The Kohot sauce is on the spicier side, try this one if you love spicy. The bowl was so good, I was stuffed after finishing! Fresh ingredients, great portions, and the price is reasonable! I’ll definitely be back.

I like coming here for lunch and getting a healthy mix of salad/bulgogi beef. There are a ton of sides like cucumber, corn, egg, tofu, and broccoli. The sauces are really good. I like the sesame peanut and miso mayo. Service is quick!

The place is clean and feels heathy when you eat here. Pros: not bad for 8.00 Cons: you only get 5 choices, for the scoop what’s a few more. Listed seating when it is busy. You only go here when you are at the mall. The Korean beef did not have much flavor but decent portion. I think I’ll try the spicy chicken next time. You get lettuce and rice which is not good when you’re on a real diet to lose some weight I wish the had something crunchy like croutons fried wonton skins. The staff was friendly, the tables are kind of dirty but the staff really doesn’t have time to come out and clean them. At least while we ate there? They are busy serving customers.

Spicy pork with cilantro lemon dressing is my most preferred combination. I love the Korean twist of a Chipotle concept. Located next to the kid play pit at the promenade area of the Santa Anita Mall, this hidden eatery is the middle ground between a snack an a full meal. I love stopping by for a quick lunch during my shopping days. Pricing is decent and service is always very helpful and friendly. There are several tables inside and then some outside too so it’s great to enjoy the summer weather. CORRECTION: AMEX are NOT accepted!

I just ate here today and already excited to go back. This place was seriously amazing! And the price is right, too. For around $ 7.25 you can build your own bowl which includes the base(brown or white rice and lettuce), 5 toppings, sauces and a protein. I ordered a half white rice half lettuce bowl to go(order to go since portions are large). some toppings include cucumber, bell peppers, edamame, kidney bean salad, egg, cheese, broccoli– the usual salad toppings. Sauces were good! I ordered two sauces on the side — cilantro and peanut sauce(best). My protein was the tofu which is seriously SOSO good! It’s super flavorful and mixed with mushroom. My co workers ordered meat and all tried mine and want to get the tofu next time. apparently if you write a review on Unilocal they will give you $ 1 off you purchase. Awesome!

Lettuce Go reminds me of Bibigo in West LA, but it’s the salad version. You make your custom bowl of rice, lettuce, five veggie toppings, dressing, and protein of choice. I’ve eaten here twice and both times have been consistent in terms of quality. I just wish they weren’t so stingy on the toppings(two little spoons). They have a stamp card that they don’t really advertise. Your first five(?) bowls gives you a free drink. The next five(?) gives you another freebie. They have outdoor seating and the restaurant is located upstairs in the Promenade. It’s convenient to dine here if you are already at the mall and want to dine outdoors. Initally I never thought I would step into a Salad base location. Contrary to popular beliefs, as a vegetarian I am not all about my salads, nor am I a salad connoisseur. In fact I lie to everyone and tell them I hate salad so they have it in grained in their heads that I dont like ordering them at restaurants. Done Rant. I actually really enjoyed lettuce to go… what really brought out the flavors were the tofu and mushrooms as the protien. It was so delicious I never even added the sauces they offer. I was actually full the rest of the day and probably could of gone without eating dinner! Who knew that a bunch of veggies, rice and tofu was gonna be delicious !

Conveniently located in the Santa Anita Mall-more specifically the outdoor promenade area. I happened to be at the mall and the hanger was real. I’m glad this place popped up on Unilocal. This is definitely a chipotle-inspired to-go style restaurant, where you can customize your order. Here’s how it works: STEP1: Choose your base. You can choose lettuce & white rice, lettuce & brown rice, or just lettuce/rice only. –I chose a lettuce and brown rice base. They give a huge amount of base. I had a lot leftover. STEP2: Choose your toppings. You can choose up to five, add 50 cents for any extra toppings. Toppings include cucumber, corn, tomato, carrot, baby radish, cheese, edamame, bell pepper, croûton, cabbage, broccoli, bean sprout, baked beans, egg(scrambled), and tofu. –I chose corn(tastes like the sweet canned corn yum!), carrots, edamame, bean sprouts, egg, and tofu(stir-fried, tasted better than I thought for some reason). I loved them all other than bean sprout… that was just whatevers to me. STEP3: Choose your sauce. The options include cilantro lemon, kohot, sesame peanut, miso mayo, buttermilk ranch, and herb oil. You can try more than one sauce for free and have the option of getting sauce on the side. –I got three sauces on the side because I was indecisive. Cilantro lemon is surprisingly good! It’s their most popular sauce. Kohot isn’t too spicy and is similar to sauce that is used in bibimbap. Sesame peanut reminds me of shabu shabu and it’s good as well! STEP4: Choose your protein. You can choose between bulgogi beef($ 7.35), spicy pork($ 6.95), grilled chicken($ 6.75), curry chicken($ 6.75), and organic tofu($ 6.45). If you get two proteins, then you add an additional $ 1.85. –I chose bulgogi beef and it was seasoned perfectly! Very flavorful. They offer featured combos as well on their menu. This place is definitely a healthier option for a meal and I would totally go back since quality, quantity, and price is very reasonable. Give it a try!

I had no idea Lettuce Go specialized in a Chipotle style restaurant with a Korean BBQ flair. From the name alone, I always thought they only served salads. But Lettuce Go is much more than a simple salad bowl. You’re able to choose from pre-made combinations at a set price or you’re able to customize your own bowls with various prices depending on what type of meat you choose to garnish your bowl with. Although their combinations looked very intriguing — Cilantrology! — I opted to make my own bowl. Basically there are four steps(similar to Chipotle or even the Poke restaurants). Step 1: Choose your base — lettuce with white rice or lettuce with brown rice. Or you can have just lettuce or just rice. It’s up to you since you’re the one eating it. Step 2: Choose 5 toppings from the ingredients spread out in front of you. Extra ingredients are charged at $ 0.50 more per ingredient. You have cucumber, corn, tomato, egg, tofu, etc. Step 3: Choose a sauce. This is a bit more tricky because the sauce definitely makes or breaks the flavor of your bowl. I feel like you can combine sauces if you want, but I stuck with just one. From cilantro lemon to herb oil, the flavors are pretty different. Step 4: Choose the protein. There’s bulgogi beef, spicy pork, grilled chicken, curry chicken, or organic tofu for those who don’t eat meat. If you want to double up on protein, it’s an additional $ 1.85. So from the whole customization standpoint, you really are able to choose your own bowl your own way. I believe I opted for lettuce with white rice, cucumber, corn, cheese, tomato, carrot with the cilantro lemon sauce topped with bulgogi beef. The bowl was around $ 7 after tax, which isn’t bad at all. I got a pretty decent amount of food, but nowhere near as much as I get from Chipotle, which can last me several meals. I thought the taste was good, and having the Korean BBQ as protein definitely gives Lettuce Go a different taste profile as compared to Chipotle. I really liked the cilantro lemon and the beef, but there wasn’t anything to really rave about. It was simply a good meal. Service was pretty good. They answered questions I had — albeit in a very bored tone of voice — and were quick and efficient. However, they did put a TON of sauce onto my bowl and my friends’ bowls, so we were left with a ton of sauce after we had finished our salad. Seriously the meal was drenched in sauce! *I did notice that people would order to-go even though they ate at the restaurant. I feel like they pack more food in a to-go container than on a «for here» plate. I’d recommend ordering to-go all the time. tl;dr — I’d come back if I was at the mall and craving something relatively healthy. The pricing and taste of Lettuce Go is good, so no complaints there!
