Quynh does a wonderful job on Brazilian wax and facial. She was very patient and friendly. I have to stop to see her every time I was in the area.

Quynh is incredibly talented and can do it all! She is the only person I’ve ever been to for a Bikini/​Brazilian wax. She makes you feel comfortable and will talk with you about anything. Not only does she do a great job, but her prices also can’t be beat. I got a bundle of waxing done (eyebrows, underarms, and Brazilian) for the price of just a Brazilian anywhere else, or even less than that! I try to tip her well since I appreciate the value I’m getting. Use that 10% off Unilocal check-​in coupon too! I don’t live in Arcadia anymore, and don’t frequently get waxes down there. However, anytime I come back to visit my family, I will be hitting up Quynh for at least an eyebrow wax. :)

Queen took the time to look at the ideas I had, and then drew in my eyebrows with a brow pencil. She listened to me, and patiently explained every step. By the time to start the tattoo process I was so relaxed I nearly fell asleep!
The first part of the tattoo Queen had applied some numbing agent… And I had to stifle a laugh as it tickled! Half way I did feel a little more, but not anything to be at all concerned about. The very end I admit it stung a little. But Queen applied more numbing agent and it really was no big deal.
I had this done yesterday, Monday, and Queen called me to check on me this morning. She was concerned as I have very sensitive skin, the color of a polar bear in a white out!!!
All I can honestly say is I love this woman!!! She’s extremely talented, kind, patient-​Just one very wonderful person!
I plan to return to get my eyeliner put on in tats as well as recommending my step sister!

Queen was awesome. I did a straighten perm and I loved the result. She really put a lot of time and effort into it. I did get my hair perm before but did not like the outcome. I got my hair trimmed as well and she nailed it without cutting too much of my hair off. I would highly recommend her if you want to have your hair straighten and you will not regret it.

I am so so lucky I got to go to Quynh/​Queen for my first facial half a year ago, and this is my fourth time back since then! I never dreamed my skin could look this nice, I thought I just had bad skin. Queen unclogged every hurting pore on my face. It is painful for a second, but in a few days you’ll be dying to go back again. The results stay as little bumps for a day or two but disappear, leaving nothing.

Quynh was able to sacrifice her lunch to squeeze me in to give me my first pair of eyelashes. I was extremely satisfied and she is very good with kids. I’m heading before and after pictures of my eyelashes. Later that day she was able to stay after hours to do my Japanese version of a straight perm. I also put before and after pictures of how beautiful my hair looked once she finished. I was extremely satisfied and grateful for her and her work. Her assistant Danny was also very helpful. He is very smart and he’s able to carry a conversation with any topic which helps the time go by a lot faster. I will be recommending them both to anyone who is surprized by my new look.

It was my first time getting eyelash extensions and I had a great experience! Quynh was so friendly and patient.
It took her a little longer to do my eyelashes since it was my first time and my eyes were a little sensitive but I definitely appreciate the extra time she took!
I am extremely satisfied with the outcome, my eyelashes were just how I wanted them to be!
She was even nice enough to text me the next day to ask if I felt comfortable with the lashes or not :)

I really did not want to leave Quynh an average review as she is hard-​working and tedious in her work. However, here it is – I’m writing this review because my eyes have gone through a lot within the last couple of days because I chose to do eyelash extensions here.
I called Quynh asking if she does the real looking individual lashes as I’ve gotten them done before and was not sure if her price (around $ 75) really gets you what you pay for (I am used to paying around $ 130 for a full set). Unfortunately, my instinct was right.
If you don’t know much about eyelash extensions, maybe this place is for you. If you’re not picky and will settle with this type of work. Quynh put on A LOT of lashes, to the point where I couldn’t sleep at night because they were irritating my eyes. Before beginning, she asks you for a photo as an example. I showed her something with short and medium full lashes. I wanted them to look more natural and not fake.
Instead, I got long, really synthetic looking lashes that also looked cheap. MAYBE this works for some people. But, NOT for me.
I wanted them off immediately after trying to deal with them for one day. Unfortunately, I was on vacation in Chicago and had to wait another few days. I called her to make an appointment to take them off. She said that’s fine but kept trying to push for me to get shorter ones on. She doesn’t really consider that I’m not asking her advice and that I’m telling her I just want them removed.
So, I come in at the scheduled time in the morning AND SHE IS 45 minutes LATE! So unprofessional. She goes back and forth with me about traffic and how that affected her being late. I told her she had my number and could have called me. Meanwhile, there is a lady also waiting for eyelash extensions. So, I guess she also double-​booked at the time. And maybe show up to work on time?
When she came in she still kept trying to push for me to get different lashes. I said no, my eyes have endured enough (they were burning and swollen). I told her to please just return my money and I will pay someone ELSE to remove them because I didn’t want to deal with her anymore.
I went straight to another place where I found that Quynh did NOT put individual lashes on and that there were 3 eyelashes per lash. The lady at this different establishment said that it can affect the strength of my natural lashes if there is too many on one. UNFORTUNATELY, it did and removing them pulled A LOT out.
I’m really disappointed and would NEVER go here nor recommend it unless you don’t care about your lashes. I suggest you use individual lashes Quynh and don’t falsely advertise.
