First let me say I rarely gonto ganestop because they are always the most expensive. That being said when I do go I am always ignored no one offers help. The store is small and cluttered so if it’s busy the floor layout makes it almost impossible to navigate through the store. When I’m ready to check out im always waitong behind a trade in and the other employees just ignore the registers and keep box arting, stickering or just wondering around. West saint paul store is better this thos one at least Jason makes his employees great customers and offer help and the store is larger and more open. Apple valley and mall of america are top stores in the area that said why is the apple valley location so small?
Another note if you buy a new copy of a game from them and its not plastic wrapped you are buying a played game. This is what happens. Employees are allowed to check out games taken them home and play them for knowledge purposes. Now this you would think shoukd only apply to pre owned games. They will check you out a brand new still plastic wrapped game and tell you not to use the codes if there are any. They will take it home play it for 5 days bring it back and put it back in the drawer. You come in ask for a new copy they then pull the played one out and sell it to you new. Its not new someone touched it opened it and played it by definition that is used. Dont believe me each store has a book that they use to keep track of policies, employees purchases, and… wait for it… employee game check outs. Ask to see it one day when you get one of these said new unwrapped not last store copies, I bet some one check it out.
Dont do business with gamestop they are a rip off and they over charge for games and sometimes systems. Target and bestbuy both price match amazon amd you will almost always get a better deal.

One of the employees at the apple valley made rude remarks to me after I made a request for a game. I didn’t know the name of the game correctly at the top of my head and instead of correcting me he rose his voice, lost his cool and told me to stop wasting his time. As a previously loyal customer I will be taking my used games and business elsewhere.
