I was recommended to this place as a great burger joint; And YES, I was extremely empressed, I went for the one that had ghost pepper sauce(like maybe a ghost pepper was present in the room when it was prepared) but not very spicy, still a very enjoyable burger, all fresh ingredients; it was prepared very well, the fries where exceptional, the service was friendly and curtious, the appetizers we had French Fries with gravy and cheese curds… I STRONGLYRECOMMENDTHEM! also a great selection of beer and beverages.

Just got takeout out from here. Dry rub wings and their walleye sandwich. Wings were good, however, go easy on the salt! Walleye sandwich was not bad, except I pulled out 8 fish bones out of my teeth. Not really worth $ 14 if I have to look out for bones. Not an enjoyable meal, should have gone elsewhere. It’s my dad’s birthday and he wanted their wings so thats why I got takeout. If you’re all about searching for walleye bones from a sandwich, Crooked Pint is the spot!

Packed house. Vikings playing. I was told 30 – 40 minute wait but they got us in under 20 minutes. Our waitress(Emily) was GREAT! All of her tables were full and she still found time to check on us several times. I got the French dip and the chicken wild rice soup. I enjoyed both! The French bread was crispy on the edges and soft in middle. The soup was creamy and yummy. My friend got the tator tot hot dish and would give it 3.5 out of 5. She loves, loves spice food, but this dish was almost too spicy for her. She kept eating it, but had to ask for sour cream. She said she’d get it again. We will be back!

Friends and I visited this place for the Notre Dame Game. I ordered the Crooked Californian Burger and my wife ordered the nachos. The Burger was bland and tasteless and came with barely a sliver of avocado. I asked for more avocado thinking it would liven up the taste. NOPE! Burger was also supposed to come with bistro sauce. I don’t know what this is or what it’s supposed to taste like because there was barely any sauce on the burger. The meat tasted old and frozen and the bun was soggy. My wife’s Nacho’s looked decent but were served cold and lacked any flavor. Once you got past the top layer of cheese and some meat(and lots of lettuce) you’re really left with nothing but a big pile of chips. Once the meals were done we hoped to stay for the game and finish off a lot of beer. But our waitress disappeared and our drink glasses stayed empty for almost 25 minutes. We decided to go home for the 2nd half and drink our own beers. The only redeeming factor about this place is that when I complained about my burger they let me order the Fish Tacos(Which were very good) and the didn’t charge me for the burger. If not for this I would have given 1 star.

Beautiful beer selection on tap. Full range of local and national craft beers. I had a Todd the Axman by Surly, a Triple IPA by Green Flash, and Fresh Squeezed by Deschutes. I’ll be going back.

I really want to love the place as we are really lacking in the restaurant department in that immediate neighborhood. The food isn’t bad but the service kills it for me every time. About 70% of the time(we go there a few times a month) we just get the worst service — doesn’t bother to check on us after the meal is served, drinks doesn’t get refilled, orders incorrectly filled and slow service on slow and definitely off peak times. Will give it another shot(maybe) but not sure if I want to spend that much money at a place that seems annoyed that you showed up.

It’s okay… Great wine and beer selection, however, even the manager seems clueless as to what is on the menu… Food is flavorful, but seriously lacks presentation.

As they say in baseball, 3 strikes and you’re out! Gave this place one last chance and went for their hot dishes. And I quote, «You won’t find anything better!» Yes, yes you will! 1. Who puts pot roast in a Mexican themed dish? No one I know. Wait. The Fale House will! 2. Do your chefs know what salt and pepper is? Maybe a little garlic, onion, rosemary or some other simple seasonings? Your pot pies have zero flavor. If someone thinks the food here is good they’ve either never had good food before or making Kraft mac n cheese out of the box is a difficult task. Good luck!

This place has an amazing selection of brews and wine! Hello they have a wine bar. how can you not like it. The food is tasty. I love it because they take traditional food and give it a spin. It is expensive but worth it.

Crooked Pint offers the south suburbs one of our best — and only — options for a fun sports bar/casual dining vibe for people in their late-20’s and up. Most of the other options down here are either dumpy, sketchy, or overdone. The menu options are really good — I’m a fan of their Mill City flatbread, poutine, and a couple of their burgers. The bar and restaurant itself are usually clean and the staff is always attentive and friendly.

I went to Crooked Pint on a(blind) first date. I’d say it’s a good place to meet someone for the first time. The environment isn’t too loud so you can chat with people easily. They have a great long beer list! I tried the Hinterland Luna Coffee Stout. It was a heavier beer but easy to drink. You can really taste the coffee notes. We also got the Brussels sprouts and chocolate chip cookie. The sprouts were delicious, although the menu said there would be jalapeños and there were none. I was confused, but it was so good that I didn’t care. Lastly, I’m a lover of décor. This place had the best distressed wood floors. A big atrium, and a patio.

Service and food have gotten better since they initially opened. The burger specials at lunch are pretty decent. The loaded tots can be hit or miss. We don’t really go for the bar aspect. It’s just the only«sit down» kind of place in south Apple Valley/North Farmington that has anything worth eating.

I am updating my review. I have received excellent customer service feedback and this means more to me than one bad cup of soup moment. I will be back for more of the Crooked Pint. Thankyou!

Meh. I had a coupon for bogo Lucy’s so I took my kiddo. They sat us right by the door and it was FREEZING. Not just where we were, but the bathroom was ice cold and even the hand dryer was shooting out cold air. I got the peanut butter bacon Lucy and he got the pepperoni Lucy. My burger was just ok, which is hard to believe because it has PEANUTBUTTER and BACON. But it wasn’t great, not much flavor. My brussels sprouts were awful, no flavor and some were cold inside. My kiddo ate his whole burger but when I asked he was unimpressed, said he preferred regular burgers and gave it a 3 out of 5. The service was slow. When I asked for sriracha(to make the brussels edible) she checked but they didn’t have any. Fail. At least I had a coupon.

They really put the«crook» in «crooked.» The only reason to go is the homemade tots-they are divine, but the interior is all hard surfaces; walls, floors, chairs and it echoes like Carlsbad Caverns. Always so loud and impossible to hear. Last night we tried it once again only because my friend had a gift card. It still had $ 21 on it when we left and he threw it in the trash on our way out, so as not to be tempted again. Our server Maria was fantastic, but on a Friday night she was alone in the dining room half of the place. Slow to get drinks and food. They have a late night happy hour special that includes $ 5 brown liquor. I ordered a Bulleit Rye on the rocks ANDTHEYCHARGEDME $ 1.50FORTHEICE! I took a picture of the receipt; it’s insane. Whiskey $ 5.00 On Rocks $ 1.50 I asked the server and she said she wondered about that too. She has been a server for 10 years and has never seen that before working at Crook Pint. The location is great. Hopefully someone will open a decent restaurant there someday.

I ate at the Crooked Pint Ale House for lunch with a group of about 6 people. I was pretty hungry and had heard great things about this gigantic tater tot appetizer… so we ordered it. It was pretty good! The tater tots really are enormous. And despite the size, they are still cooked to a perfect crisp, not too hard and not too soggy. Also, these aren’t your normal tater tots; they are filled with cheese and bacon. Does it get any better than that? I definitely recommend ordering them… if you aren’t on a strict diet. I ordered a western BBQ style burger for my meal. I was juicy and delicious. The serving sizes are very generous… so generous that I couldn’t finish my meal. Our group sat at a long table that was located in an annex of the restaurant in a green-house style room. This was nice because we were able sit in natural daylight but there was a leak in the glass above our table. So water dripped down on us which our table wasn’t happy with. The service was prompt and friendly. If you’re in Apple Valley for lunch, I’d definitely recommend this place.

I love this place! Sure, it does have that chain feel to it(welcome to Apple Valley!) but they do have a diverse menu, quality fare, a fun atmosphere and a friendly and attentive staff. TIP: Get the tater tots! They are ridiculous, monster-sized potato bites fried to a perfect crisp with cheese and bacon, served up with house dressing. You get a healthy(ok, maybe not so healthy) serving so it’s meant to be shared. Or you can put them in your side pocket for later and if anyone asks you for some you can tell them«Get your own tots!» I love Brussels sprouts and I typically order them wherever I go. They are pretty good here, but maybe a bit over the top greasy and salty, served with sautéed onions and bacon. I prefer my sprouts roasted over sautéed. I still order them. They have a good mix of salads. On my last visit, I ordered the rainbow chopped salad. It has big chunks of apple, pear, and walnuts with a light vinaigrette. It is huge and I didn’t finish it. My friends split a lobster grilled cheese sandwich. I tried a bite and it was amazing — very rich, with lobster, cheese, and avocado. The bread has a wonderful cheesy, buttery crust to it. Highly recommended. They also have a unique selection of burgers(peanut butter and bacon!) and pot pies(lobster pot pie) that I will surely sample in the future. I’ve only been here for lunch, but they do have a lot of beers so I imagine it would be a great place for happy hour — a solid Valley Tap alternative! Last but not least, the staff is very friendly. Our waiter, Jayson, is a student from Oregon. He was efficient and attentive. I’ll be back…
