The Home Depot

Oh man, I’m not impressed with the customer service from this location. My in laws ordered our house appliances here and we can’t get them delivered when we were told we would be able to. Needless to say, they were so upset, they canceled the entire order and then went to buy them all at Lowes.
The other day my mother in law and I were in need of help when a teammate approached us. He was yammering away in the phone, came up to us and without even acknowledging us, he stopped and turned away from us and whispered into the phone that he needed to help a customer. My mother in law and I stood there for another 30 seconds, finally got fed up as he continued his call. My mother in law stormed off to find someone that would help us. I stayed behind, got this person’s attention so I could get his name. I literally scanned his apron without saying a word to him. He asked if I needed something. I smiled and responded «Not anymore, Jay, just wanted to make sure I had your name.» Guess who was suddenly very interested in helping me. Yes folks, that would be Jay, who was not only suddenly very interested in my existence, but seemed a little panicked, as he very well should be.
I would like to point out that the older employees, esp the door greeters, very nice folks and they always make me smile. Jay? Not so much. I was so put off by him, once I’m finished with all this work on the house, I may well find myself with time to call the store manager. In the meantime, I shall Unilocal and let Jay think he’s gotten away with ignoring customers.

I love this Home Depot. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you don’t know what you’re looking for, ask anyone and they’ll help.
I especially recommend Safety Bob. He’s such a great employee. He walked around the store helping me find what I needed for a project.

Home Depot sold me a refrigerator and when it was delivered it had the wrong freezer handle now I’ve been sitting with a brand new $ 2000 fridge with no freezer door handle for 5 days and Home Depot has not taken a Single step to right this wrong. They even had the nerve to suggest I call the manufacturer directly. I placed my order on
but figure this store got credit for the sale. I need someone with some Sense to step up and make this right. Anybody listening?

On a recent visit to this Home Depot my wife and I had an extremely positive experience. We ordered a pressure washer which was broken. The staff at Home Depot worked very hard to help us resolve the issue. Additionally, they showed acidosis customer service excellence with a recent purchase. I highly recommend this HD location.

We have lived in Apopka for over 10 years and I remember when this was basically the only thing out here…
We wanted to purchase a tool box for my husband’s truck. Went in and looked at one– turns out it was the last one and a store model. Found a store associate (Andy L) and inquired about buying that one. He asked the size of our truck and said he might have something better and on sale.
He measured the other box and then came out and measured our truck with us. He even offered to get the tool box down and let us fit it into the truck. Perfect fit and $ 80 off– YES Please!!! The box was missing the hardware to install but Andy grabbed all of that for us ($ 2!) and off we went,
I will forever be loyal to this store– this is only one out of many amazing experiences we have had here– and I’m so thankful for their great customer service.
Store is always clean and people are always friendly. Thanks guys!

I absolutely love this Home Depot. If one person comes to help you, they will guide you through the whole store I’m search of whatever you need. They are the perfect help. I had gone to lowes across the street only once and it was down right horrible. This is a place I can trust. Love love love!

The store is usually clean and has good prices. Hit or miss on the service. I will avoid using This Home Depot for any installation. They use sub-​contractors, and if there is a problem, they tell you it is between you and the sub-​contractor. Wish they would stand behind the work you pay them for.

My local Home Depot, convenient, close and the always have something I need. And if they don’t, there’s a Lowe’s right across the street that probably does!

after a bad experience at the clermont home depot we drove out to apopka. The people were very helpful and friendly. Amy Jo and Jonah helped us find all the supplies we needed, loaded them on our cart and even offered to help take them to our vehicle! The cashier was also very friendly and offered to help us out to our truck. Great store!

Something has happened in Home Depot lately. It used to be that the stores were disorganized, dirty and getting help was near impossible. The last few times I was in a Home Depot I actually liked them MORE than Lowe’s. In fact, I think they may be winning me back. The store was nicely stocked for Christmas (unlike Lowe’s who sells out of Christmas décor by thanksgiving) and they had tons of staff, many just dedicated to helping those shop the Christmas section. We even went back post-​christmas and found several great items at half off. Staff seems fairly knowledgeable too.
