Great deal for a great meal. Huge pizzas! Hot out of the oven, dine in. Great for lunch!

Absolutely love Johnny’s Pizza! Their pizza is amazing and they have the best grilled chicken salad around!

Normally much better customer service. Previous visits were met with much more happy faces. We stood at the door for a while, no greeting. Finally just sat down. No one came to the table. Went up to order, was treated like they are doing us a favor. Pizza was about like it normally is. I still can’t believe they use veggies out of cans so we stick with meats. They didn’t being the garlic knots until after we remind them after the pizza comes out. I’m reconsidering this regular destination…

I had family in from out of town and I picked up a couple of pizzas from Johnny’s and my family just raved about it! We got great service and they even helped carry the pizzas to my car. Highly recommend!

Finally decided to pick up Johnny’s Pizza on the way home on a Saturday night. Ordered garlic knots, which are free when you check in on Unilocal,and a Hawaiian Pizza. Garlic knots were scrumptious and the pizza was good, I would probably opt to try a different one next time. Can’t wait to try this place out again!

I’m from NY — I lived my whole life in NY. I also love Pizza! We are down hear checking out Apex, NC. We come across this pizza with great reviews, people saying it’s like NY pizza. «Yea right» I’m saying. I’ve been up an down the east coast — I’ve seen many claims for NY style pizza. None have ever lived up to my NY standards. Until Now. Wow I can’t believe it. I actually might be able to finally move from NY. Johnny’s Pizza is the real deal. We got just a plain 18″ cheese pie. I wanted to really give it the true pizza test without hiding it with specialty pizza stuff. This is true pizza — actually reminded me of my childhood neighborhood pizza place — which is always everyone’s favorite. I’ll definitely be back and I definitely recommend Johnny’s for a true NY pizza pie.
PS. This is the first carbs I had in two weeks so I am worried that I was biased a bit — but I don’t think so:)

We order from Johnny’s a few times a month! Every single time, we aren’t disappointed. Our two favorites are the garlic knots and the buffalo chicken pizza! I love that you can get authentic NY pizza delivered right to your home! It is so much better than the chain delivery guys. We don’t order the subs as often but they are really good too!

First time here — we chose this place because of the Unilocal reviews and it did not disappoint. Very friendly staff on the phone and in person. The owner was working and introduced himself and made me feel like I’d been a lifelong customer. We had pizza, garlic knots and mozzarella sticks this time and everything was yummy! Thanks everyone, we will be back to try more!

Really great pizza and friendly staff. One of the owners is on a local FB group page and she is very responsive to customer’s questions and concerns. They often run great deals on FB and send out mail coupons. The pizza is always perfect and the wings are good too!

Always gives me a great pleasure to write a well-​deserved review. The staff was very polite, professional, and very accommodating to kids. I’ve mentioned little inconsistency in some items (we would always get them delivered, this time we dined in) and the owner personally contacted me. I was truly moved by how much he cares about his customers, quality of his food and the reputation. We always get pizza and boneless chicken wings.

Overpriced mediocre food. Every time I’ve ordered from here I’ve been disappointed. The pizza has always been soggy, the sandwiches weren’t very good, and the wings are just ok. Sandwiches at subway are cheaper and better.

I’ve been reading the reviews for months. I just realized tonight they deliver to my area. I’d seen the Brooklyn White as the thing to get. Oh, yes it is! Family loved it. The crust is to die for.
We also got the sampler. All very good items. The chicken strips were not you’re typical frozen tiny size. They were large pieces of meat. All the other items were on point as well. Toasted ravis, yum.
The eggplant parm was excellent as well. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Nothing was drowning in sauce or cheese grease.
Garlic knots are buttery, garlicky puffs of happiness. Do not ever forget these. Ever! :) And the delivery guy was nice! Great job, Johnny’s. You just got yourself another lifelong customer.

Johnny’s Pizza knows how to do it all right! Great pizza, pasta and salads! Amazing staff that keeps smiling while they run around keeping customers happy even when the place is packed. Fresh ingredients and clean restaurant. Johnny’s pizza is a gem that we recently found and added to our favorites list. :)

Great Spot! Nice to eat at a place where the husband and wife work, engage in the community and turn out some real good pizza! Our GO TO!
Try the Italian Sub if pizza isn’t you thing. Also johnnys chips are simple but deadly.

Johnny’s has the best pizza in the area, maybe in the state! They know how to do NY style pizza, and surprisingly most of the other pizza places are horrible at it. I like this location more than their old one in Apex, it’s extremely clean. The people working here are super friendly (another issue with other pizza places). I really want to try their entrees, but once I see people eating the pizza when I walk in, it immediately makes me crave it! Their garlic knots are sometimes not the best, the last time they were really under cooked, plus they are always swimming in a pool of butter, but they are never bad. You definitely have to try their desserts, they are house made and they have the best tiramisu that I’ve ever tasted! Seriously, if you like NY pizza, this is the best place to get it!

Had the Brooklyn white pizza, meat lover’s pizza, and garlic knots. Delicious! First off, the large pizza was indeed very large. I love the thin crust as well.
The Brooklyn was my favorite, mainly due to the ricotta, mozzarella, and garlic that were oh so yummy. The sausage on it was not as flavorful as I would have liked, but the rest made up for it! The meat lover’s was good, but the meat toppings do not taste so fresh, which takes away from the flavor to me. The garlic knots were buttery, garlicky, and tasty, especially with the marinara sauce accompanying it.
Make sure to check for deals on Unilocal and on the Johnny’s website. I was able to get $ 5 off and free garlic knots in one order!

The few times I’ve been here, I noticed that it was crazy popular with the young-​uns. Lots of high schoolers in there just milling around over sugary drinks and pies. That’s a pretty off-​putting scene for me, so my repeat visits show how much I love Johnny’s product.
Driving into their lot can be maddening depending on the traffic. But it’s worth it once you’re there because these guys have the most insane chicken wings in the world. They are, hands down, my favorite from anywhere.
Doesn’t mater if you’re having the surprisingly good honey mustard wings or just the regular milds, you’re going to score your ass off. Generous helpings of Ranch, Bleu Cheese or whatever suits you are free and well made. Check in using your Unilocal app for free garlic knots.
The pizza can be okay to great, in consideration of what you order. I liked the cheese a lot. The pepperoni was a blast too. But the meat lovers was a bit of a miss. There was just too much going on and keeping it simple in the pizza department could get you a win.
But the damn wings! Mercy! Give them a try and come back here to thank me or tell me how wrong I am. But, as a side note… there’s another spot in Apex that’s very similar to Johnny’s where wings come in. It’s called The Pizza Dude. If you’re out of Johnny’s delivery radius (or don’t feel like driving), try them out.

It’s about time I updated my review for Johnny’s since we are here at least once a week for lunch or dinner.
The kids love it, husband loves it (and it has replaced his previously fave pizza joint for a place to get Stromboli– Johnny’s Stromboli, obvs), and I still get the exact.same.thing every time we come. You can’t beat the NY White. It’s simple, but delicious. There are nice chunks of garlic in the garlic oil, balanced by the creamy ricotta, which is pocketed in between the layers of gooey mozzarella and it’s all stuffed into that crispy crust. Oh! And the marinara for dipping– just chunky enough, not too acidic– yum! Don’t forget to get the garlic knots– (or bread balls, as my 4 year old calls them). The cheese slices are perfect for kids, and they’ll even cut them into squares so you don’t have to.
I can’t write all this and forget to mention the employees. Everyone from Johnny down remembers who you are when you come in and they go out of their way to get you what you need. That’s hard to come by these days. Give Johnny’s a try, you won’t be disappointed.

After my husband had his first bite of the Brooklyn White, he said something with too many expletives for me to share here… basically it translates to, «Mmmmm…that’s amazingly good pizza!» He really enjoyed this one and I have a feeling it will be even better cold or reheated for lunch or a snack!
I wanted to order the Garlic Knotz because I remembered fellow Unilocalers mentioning they were tasty, and… they impressed me! These little bundles of garlic flavor should be renamed to Garlic ‘Yeses,’ because they are definitely not ‘nots!’ I’m not even a huge garlic fan, but these are full of flavor, soft on the inside and sort of crunchy on the outside. Really good. Bonus: I’ve heard bugs are deterred by garlic so when the weather warms up, I’ll have an excuse to indulge again!
I’m sure we’ll be back… hopefully next time I’ll get to try the tiramisu too (they were out today). Really good eats here; I’m looking forward to checking out more of the menu!

Pizza, Pizza! I’m not on this side of town much but I have to say this was a great find. I looked over the menu online and choose the Italian Sub, pepperoni pizza, and the Brooklyn white pizza. I wouldn’t say this is true NY pizza but it’s one of the best pizza places I’ve found in this area.
I ordered for pick up and it was available in no time. The staff was extremely friendly and they had plenty of people there to take orders, cook, etc. As I was browsing the menu inside I noticed they make fried calzones here! I can’t wait to come back and try one, ever since somebody told me about fried calzones I’ve been looking for a place to try one.
The Brooklyn white pizza was by far the highlight of this meal. The thin cuts of sausage, ricotta cheese, spinach yummy! Their crust really makes the pizza they do it right here. There is nothing like the perfect pizza crust and it was perfectly crispy. The sub was also really good I would like to come back and try some of their other sandwiches, wings, and salads.
