Wow — I’m not going to visit this GNC again. The clerk just didn’t seem very customer oriented(which is fine with me because there are plenty of other health stores to choose from). I, too, used this GNC for the very first time because of the convenient location however the prices were almost double what I pay at Vitamin Shoppe for things like Designer Whey powder and the like. I will probably not visit any other GNC because of that simple fact. Odd too is that GNC offers a *gold* savings plan you can sign up for. Its cost is $ 15 per year(the clerk told me I would save a little less than half of that amount on my purchase if I signed up right now). It didn’t make any sense to me to pay to save. Also, the Vitamin Shoppe’s prices on things like protein shake whey seem to be half as expensive as what GNC offers. Times are tight, so I think GNC will have to do better on price to keep me coming back.

This location of GNC out in Apex is a pretty convenient location, out on US64 near the Macgregor/Cary Auto Park area. Easily accessible off of Hwy 64, and they have been here for a good many years, so it’s a stand-by place. The products here at GNC are ok, many of them of course their own brand of supplements and nutritional aid type of products. There are a lot of supplements I find at my other shops I frequent that are not sold here, maybe because of the GNC franchise maintaining the list of what is available through them. I’m just not a fan of GNC’s prices most of the time. Even though I go to other supplement stores most of the time for the price and selection, I find myself coming here when I need convenience(near work). Also, the staff here through the years have been nice, always friendly and helpful.
