I absolutely love this residence! I moved my mom here about four months ago and this was the best move we could have made for her.
We checked into a few other facilities in the area and they were just way over priced for what they were. I was quoted over 3k for just a studio. Seems that is about the average price. My mom is in a one bedroom apartment for well under 3k and they even froze her rent for two years.
Most importantly, they didn’t feel as lively and homey as this place. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked into the building. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They really went above and beyond for her. My mom immediately felt at home. She has benefited so much from all of the actIvities and all of the friends she has made. When my father passed away, she became very isolated and depressed. She is a brand new person today and our whole family thanks Quail Lodge.
I have eaten here several times now and the food is actually pretty good! I was expecting more cafeteria style but it’s actually more like a restaurant. They have many different selections on the menu and so far so good! I don’t know what the negative reviews are about?
I would definitely recommend this place.

My parents have lived here for about a year and a half. Has it been perfect? No. But does it address many needs if you have the right expectations, yes. The staff is generally very helpful and accomodating, although you do have to prod Housekeeping a bit to do stuff.
The place is clean, orderly, with an active activity schedule. People who live her can choose to participate and engage in community activities or withdraw. Usually the ones with the smiles on their faces who take the time to talk to people and do the activities are the happiest. The Activities Director Jennifer is very good and very enthusiastic about her job. There are ample opportunities to go out to restaurants or on mini-​field trips.
As regards the food — Is it gourmet? No. But it is an incredibly tough group to cook for. Someone will complain about something at all times. You cannot get too innovative because many will not like that. I have eaten many meals there as a guest. While it is not something I would go to a restaurant for, it is definitely fine for everyday. Residents who are more mobile can supplement this with trips to restaurants or order delivery too.
This place is very much what you make it. Yes, there were things I would change if I were in charge but on the whole, I think they create a comfortable, relaxing environment for seniors.

My mother and step-​father recently moved into this residence. The staff has been very helpful, and even put laminate flooring in at my mother’s requests, in place of linoleum and carpeting. My mother has been told by numerous residents that this is one of the better retirement residences.
The breakfast and noon meal are the better, and very tasty. The supper at 5pm is ok, bt they do have additional choices that you can have.
Most of the residents have walkers and scooters, so you have to be prepared for that.
