My cashier today«Lili B» had more spice then the black pepper chicken I purchased. She needs to smile. Food was great!

There will always be a special place in my heart for the kind of Chinese-American food you find at Panda Express. But this review is solely for the crew that served my family tonight. Due to poor planning on our part, we walked in about 15 minutes before closing and were met with smiles and courteous service. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

The portions were very small. The Orange Chicken was dry. They said to pour some red sweet ‘n sour sauce on it, but they missed the whole point — the orange sauce is COOKED with the chicken, NOT just poured over it, and the sweet ‘n sour sauce is NOT the same as the cooked orange sauce. For just a few dollars more, I could have gone to a full serve Chinese restaurant such as Double Dragon in Antioch — the food there is very superior and they care about their customers.

I went here a couple days ago with my boyfriend about an hour before closing and my experience was subpar at best. The service was terrible; we were waiting by the counter to be served while a group was being served ahead of us. The employees was very talkative and friendly while she was helping the guests in front of us. She was also giving extra food that they didn’t pay for and at first, I though she was just being nice and giving extra because they were closing soon. However, when we were finally helped she was being standoffish and giving us smaller portions and no extra unlike the group ahead of us. We couldn’t help but notice that the group ahead of us and the employee were all of the same ethnicity and my boyfriend and I were not and it seemed like she was very short with us because of that. I am really upset because we were paying for the same amount of food but I had significantly less than the other group. My boyfriend and I had to go ahead of the group so we could finish and pay and by the time we left, the group was still in there getting things from behind the counter. The whole experience was unacceptable and frankly shouldn’t have happened. The only reason I would go back is because the orange chicken was made well.

Almost all of the entrees were out. 4 people working. Took forever. Couldn’t even pay while waiting for our food. Took 2 people to help one family, leaving everyone in line just waiting there.

I’ve lived out here for five years and I’ve never been to this Panda Express before. I wasn’t missing much. I actually placed an order online at 8:06 p.m. For whatever reason the order wasn’t going to be ready until 8:54. I arrived at 8:58 and, not only wasn’t the order ready, but they didn’t have pot stickers. Silly me to think that they would have still filled the order and just let me pick the replacement item when I got there OR called me to find out what I wanted in exchange. So, I waited more than fifteen minutes for them to fill the order and had a chance to glance around… at the dirty floors and tables. Sigh. Overall, it was a pretty unpleasant experience and definitely defeats the purpose of having online ordering.

I was pretty upset tonight when I visited this Panda Express. Normally ate here and everything seemed good. But not tonight. Had a bite of cream cheese Rangoon, and it was completely dried out and looked like rat droppings inside. No cream just this dried up pellet stuff. Returned the food and they replaced it. As I noticed the floors looked extremely dirty, and tables not cleaned either. My friend and I spotted a roach crossing the floor. We brought this to the attention of an employee, and they didn’t even address the situation at all! They didn’t do a darn thing! I was so disturbed not only by the roach, but dismayed by the total disregard of the employee’s! They didn’t attempt to solve this situation or acknowledge that there was a problem! No response what so ever! Panda Express clean your act up immediately, as this is unexceptional. Filthy, dirty, and roach infested! You should be reported to the health department for this!

The walnut shrimp was good and the spicy Beijing beef was tasty. The chow mein was lacking in the flavor department. The staff was nice and courteous even though they were swamped with customers.

They intentionally keep the phone line busy so they don’t have to take orders during the busy times of the day. So annoying if you have to drive 15 min to get here and can’t order take out. Then have to wait 15 min in line. And the orange chicken was soft

Sure, it’s a chain and it’s not exactly authentic Chinese cuisine, but then what do I know? I’ve never been to China and I’m just another dumb American with an appetite. This place was great. Got there on a Wednesday night around 7:00pm and of course, there was a line out the door, but it moved fairly quickly and it gave me time to eye the tempting array of choices in the display case. I was offered free samples of whatever I wanted, the selection was good, and the prices were quite reasonable at just $ 6.79 for 2 entrees and a side. For sides, you are given the choice of either chow mein or either white or brown rice, or half of both. I chose the latter. I give them 3 thumbs up for their new orange bacon chicken. Unbelievable!(But then you could serve me a dog biscuit wrapped in bacon and I would probably wolf it down) It was sweet, savory and had just the right amount of kick. I also had some other spicy chicken dish with red bell peppers, onions and chilis, and that was equally great. The place was clean, nicely decorated and the staff was very pleasant, cheerful and helpful. Thanks, Panda Express, for a dynamite experience! I will be back.

It pretty sad when a pretty good meal could get a restaurant 1 star because of customer service. Panda Express you can thank Lupe for that. When I went in it wasn’t crowded, only one other customer besides myself, so that can’t be blamed on the poor service… but that shouldn’t matter with a good employee. I ordered 2 bowls to go. The new Shitake Kale with Chicken and Chow Mein. The meal was tasty, but«Kale» should be omitted from the name because there may have been 2 tiny pieces… but had plenty of broccoli. But its called Shitake Kale not Shitake Broccoli. I also ordered a bowl with Fried Rice and Teriyaki Chicken. Thats where the problem started. Drove all the way home to drop off the Teriyaki for my husband so he could have for dinner when he got home from work, as I had to leave for San Francisco. When I opened the bag… No Sauce. Ugh. I called Panda Express that I would be going back in to pick up sauce, so I wouldnt have to explain when I arrived, in the event they were busy. The person who put together my order was Lupe, and she is the one who answered the phone. I wasn’t upset(yet) because stuff happens. But she is the one who had the«No Big Deal» attitude. No apology that it happened and I would have to drive back… nothing. When I got there she was at the back where a young man was cooking… she looked back saw me… but kept talking to him. He is the one that said«You have a customer» and she gave a whatever look. What??? Are you kidding me? And then she said something in Spanish to him. What she didn’t know, which shouldn’t matter, is that I can understand Spanish completely. And basically she was saying I had a «Mala Cara» which means I was making a bad face. You think? Of course I was making a bad face. She finally walked over to me and said«Are you the one who called about the sauce?» Really? I think the readers of this probably know what I wanted to tell her to do with that sauce. I finally got the sauce, with still no apology. I didn’t say anything because it wouldnt matter to her. I will be calling the manager.

Crowded ! Food choice is ok, for quick meal Togo. Portions are good enough for the 2 Entrée dish. Plastic utensils and paper cups are really not my thing. Had orange chicken and it was spicy and just ok. This was a last choice for dinner because of time

Panda Express is to Chinese food what Taco Bell is to Mexican food. If you’re expecting high quality meals, don’t come here. You’ll have better luck at a hole in the wall restaurant. Compared to the location in Brentwood this one has a lot better chefs. I don’t get food poisoning at this Panda so that was my first tip off. It’s better designed on the inside where the décor looks more updated and spacious, with a variety of seating. My bad, it’s high tables with bar stools or regular tables with good ol’ chairs. There’s is more parking availability and more accessibility if you’re in a wheelchair. The staff is hit and miss. Friendly at times, vacant at others. The lines at this location feel like they’re going faster than the one in Brentwood, but then again, there’s more room to form a line rather than waiting outside the door. Fortunately, the wait is never really long just long enough to make you so hungry you scarf down that crappy Chinese food.

We used to love Panda Express… After last night dinner that seems to have changed. My daughter and I always order the same items: Orange Chicken, Bejing Beef, Chow Main & Fried Rice. As my daughter started eating her rice she says it tastes weird… I tasted and realized it was made with brown rice, which I like, but it is a taste you get used to… She was grossed out. I did go up and read the«new» sign but for customers to be forced to eat brown rice is not fair =(Why not have the option for both? Their orange chicken pieces are so big now… And really fatty… We used to enjoy when they were smaller, with a bit more crunchyness, not so soggy. On the way home we all voted and will not be choosing this place anytime soon.

Well, well, weeeeell… I finally walked in for my first experience. Major line but seemed to move person by person. All food choices looked good. I ordered the $ 6.29, 2-entrée plate with chow mein, honey walnut shrimp and broccoli beef. Now they tell you right away when you order the shrimp that it costs $ 1.00 extra… mmmmmkay. The order was to go and packaged like any other fast ‘Chinese’ food place. The chow mein was dry and in my opinion Safeway makes better. The shrimp were big and thinly breaded, honey sauce was good but there were very few walnuts. Boo. The broccoli beef was meh… Safeway’s is better. The beef almost tasted fake, like not even real beef or something like freeze dried meat. For this being my first time and I did like the honey walnut shrimp, I’ll probably be back to give them another try. My son had been here before so he knew what to get. He also got the 2-entrée plate with fried rice and double orange chicken. He loves the orange chicken. I loved it too! I bogarted his plate! Hahaha! The orange sauce has like a spicy zest to it in a good way. Chicken looked to be both dark and white meat. Also got 2 veggie spring rolls and a medium size container of steamed rice.

Came here to pick up some food. As I was waiting in line to order, I watched a very RUDE Assistant Manager reprimand and belittle one of the female employees… it was so bad that I felt bad! Panda wants you to have a positive experience but it is hard when you are watching someone being bullied. What prison is Panda getting their management from? Ewwww!
