Received an email yesterday with a special for all you can eat parmesan crusted shrimp. Went there and the sign said it’s closed please visit their other locations. How can they send out an email one day for a special the following day, and then close down for good. I loved Carino’s but will find it hard to go back.

Just had lunch here with my family. Our service was terrible, waited over 20 minutes to get a glass of water, drinks came about 5 minutes after that. They took our order 50 minutes after we arrived. Our meal came about an hour later and everyone’s food was over cooked. I kept feeling stuff on me and it turns out they were having a problem with ants. It took another 30 minutes to get our bill. We were there for over two and a half hours and it was awful. Used to be my favorite place but the last three times we were there it was not a good experience.

Worst service ever, food was very disgusting, waitress had attitude when asked for drink refill, asked to see manager, it was no better, I explained what happened, her response was«If you didn’t like the service you were getting than you should have left !! » needless to say I was stunned., sent email to their home office waiting to see if they respond.

My family and I loved coming here years ago. My mom and I came here a month ago and it had changed from good to bad. To think this evening would have been a better evening to give this place another chance because of prior bad service, NOTHINGHADCHANGED! Came in for dinner with my parents. Ordered our drinks: Hot Tea and 2 Raspberry Italian Sodas with cream. Tried to order calamari, «ran out of breading for the calamari». So that was strike 1. The rude waitress took our order, my dad ordered a burger which was supposed to come with fries. She says, «we ran out of fries so we’d have to give you chips instead». Strike 2. But we were still OK with that. Our drinks came, the Italian sodas had no taste! Tried to reorder, the waitress came back with bullshit saying the«bar tenders ran out of sprite that’s why they had to make it that way». Strike 3, so we canceled our orders and left to go to a better restaurant. It’s sad to see this place turn into SHIT! When it used to be a really wonderful place to go to with great food and great service… but that was years ago.

One of my favorite watering holes. The staff is very friendly and energetic. You can’t really argue with 200 beers as well. Also they’re only $ 2 a piece on Wednesdays. Additionally it’s empty most of the time which is nice when you want to have a beer and some quiet. They always change the channels to the A’s game or whatever when I ask. Only beef I have is that I have to ask for bar food a couple of times before I actually get it. Otherwise 4/5, this place is nice.

Ehhh… I highly doubt I’ll come back. My husband and I had dinner here tonight and we left disappointed. I read the reviews before I came and if it weren’t for the gift certificate we had we wouldn’t have come. Ordered callamari and the texture was very rubbery. Also ordered the caprice salad and the mozzarella wasn’t fresh and the tomatoes were in huge chunks. My Italian soda was good and my husband said his margarita wasn’t great. I ordered the angel hair pasta with artichokes and chicken. It was good but on the bland side. My husband ordered chicken marsala and the sauce was very soupy but he thought overall it tasted okay. The appetizers came out quickly but the entrees took forever. Once they arrived we asked for boxes because we had to take a few bites and go. I’ll go somewhere else next time.

Our family decided to dine at Carino’s tonight 6:30 It was awful, the place smells like urine and dirty feet. The food was not special, I think the food is pre-frozen. Mike was the host and what a rude and impolite person. The male servers were acted like he was their leader and they also had to follow his behavior — never seen anything like this. We would never return — the food is not exceptional and the service is the worst ever experienced by any of the six in our group.

OK so first off… im a regular here. So this review is based on my 30+ times i’ve visited this place. I go strictly for the alcohol & appetizers. Cool place, free peanuts while you sit on the high bar stools. Service is slow as shit, but for the cheap drinks it’s hard to complain. Only issue, which i experienced literally every time i go there is. they sell alcoholic specials everyday & one day it will be like«25oz beer by the mug for 5 $» But literally everytime the bill comes, it’s over 6 $ for domestic draft beer(Not including tax) it will come to like 6.25 plus tax… After correcting their mistake like 3 times, i went in aware of what was going on and i went in on the day they served margaritas *with the corona bottle inside it* it was advertised as 5 $ but 2 hours later & several more drinks with the buddies, the bill came… & once AGAIN, same situation, the total for the drink was regular price on the receipt of like 7 $ and some change. WTF? It’s like they take advantage of the fact that you’re drinking and cancel out the happy hour pricing assuming you’ll forget the price since you got a little buzz going. Once or twice, it’s acceptable, but literally every time? Just be aware next time. & i hate being that cheap ass to get the attention of our waitress over a 2 $ mistake, but when it happens each time we visit. That’s an issue.

My husband and I went today around 7:45pm — late decision after working & shopping. There was a 30 minute wait so we decided to eat in the bar area. There was about 8 tables empty that had not been cleaned off — the wait staff offered to clean a table. Food was delicious until I discovered not one but TWO hairs in my pasta. I sent back & they attempted to charge me because I asked for a replacement! Manager on duty should not be in charge! I would proceed with caution– other experiences here have been better. Holiday help for peak must not have good training.

After a VERY long day, my family headed over to Carino’s for dinner mid week. It wasn’t that busy. We had a young server that was training, so I’ll let a few things slide with service. Temp was FREEZING inside. I had to go grab my sweater out of the car. Food, it was below average and didn’t really knock my socks off. Pricing was a little higher then expected. That didn’t please me too well since I wasn’t all that impressed with the food. Service was slow, but he was still learning the ropes. We’ll try to find another place next time. This just didn’t do it for us.

From word of mouth about this place i was hesitant to go out and try it with my family. but we ended up going tonight, and nothing i’ve heard about this place was true. we called ahead and made reservations, got there a couple minutes early and were seated in less than 5 minutes. the booth was large and super comfy. the menu was huge and I had looked online earlier in the day to get a feel about what i wanted to order. We had three appetizers between 5 people, the stuffed mushrooms, the«italian nachos» and the spinach dip. Everything came out and it was sooo much food. we were all pretty much full by the time our meals came. the salad was basic, the blue cheese was phenomenal as the dressing. i ordered the spicy shrimp and chicken with no substitutes and it was AMAZING the perfect blend of spicy and the cheesy ramon sauce complimented the spice very well, it said it comes with mushrooms but it was pretty much just one mushroom cut very thinly wish there was more because the mushroom that was in it was very good. Since we were stuffed on bread and appetizers we all got boxes and have leftovers for tomorrow. I really didn’t experience anything horrible that i’ve been hearing about this place. Though my water cup had a piece of onion or carrot stuck on the inside of it that i didn’t notice until i was pretty much finished with my water, kinda gross. but the food and service was great. we had never been there before so after studying the menu we asked our server what things were and he explained them to us. and he actually had an Italian accent. not that it matters, i’m just saying it added to the feel of the place.

Aright, to be honest… if it wasn’t for the food being incredibly yummy, there would be less stars. Lol. Why? My mom and I decide to go out for dinner together(this rarely ever happens for mother daughter time) & it happens to be pretty freezing outside. We look forward to the warm restaurant to find that we aren’t going to get much warmer. It was so cold inside! So much that our food cooled down within a good 5 to 10 mins. So to start off, we weren’t comfortable physically. Ok– we order & the food comes rollin in which we absolutely loved, it was so tasty. Onto the service– I’m a pretty patient person… but my Mother on the other hand is definitely not. She made me realize the slow service that was happening and I agreed but had to keep her calm and have her understand that they are understaffed and it is not the waitress’s fault. Pause for a moment. One of your customers(me) are now in an uncomfortable position to calm down the other customer and help them have a better night & give the restaurant a little slack… can you imagine a daughter trying to calm her mother down? lol it can be tough. Hey, I don’t mind doing it– but to be honest I don’t think it’s right to. Carinos, stop understaffing. Just stop it! It puts too much stress on your employees and I can see it in their eyes & quick actions. This gives the waiters/waitresses less time to interact with their tables which means less tip. Which means a worse night for them. Let’s top this night off with some alarm action. The {security?}alarm in the restaurant must’ve went off 3 times during the time we had dined in. Momma & I were starting to get used to plugging our ears… Did we have a good night? When we got back into my heated car, yes. Because our tummies were full of yummies and we were finally warm and peaceful again. Sorry Carinos, just not a good night for you all that night. Though next time we’ll come with scarves and an extra jacket! Love that food! Just Don’t mess that up and u’ll stay on the good list . keep it real lol

Been coming here more often with my friends since I turned 21 lol The service is really slow here at time, but its worth it cause the all day everyday happy hour specials are good lol Beers are 3 bucks any day expect Wednesday when their only 2 bucks. they also have decent cheap food specials to go along with your drinks too. Its a not a bad to pregame or something, 10 bucks and you can leave this place with a nice buzz lol

I haven’t been to this location in years, Recently, I was in the area and A friend and I came here on a completely dead Saturday night. The host was absent, and we waited a few minutes to be sat, which was slightly annoying but really not a big deal. We were sat at a decent table near the kitchen, waiting to be greeted for about 15 – 20. We were contemplating leaving but we kept thinking a server was coming for us, but would walk right past. Finally, a server came greeting us with«sorry about that, drinks?» We asked if she could take the whole order because we had ample time to look at the menu since she took days to greet us. The food took an unbelievable amount of time to come out, about 40 – 50 minutes. She did not refill our drinks, and after eating the food(it was terrible), I had to go find her and give her my card to pay. This was the biggest joke of service I’ve ever experienced, and under no circumstance will I ever return.

I haven’t actually sat in the restaurant in years, and only did curbside once. But the banner outside advertising Happy Hour had me reeled in(while waiting in Starbucks drive thru). Wow what a deal! We walked in on a Wed for their 45cent wings, and $ 2 beers. Wow, it’s like two different worlds the bar with the flat screens to mimic a sports bar atmosphere had club like music playing! Then the restaurant side had Italian ballads and was filled with families. With the $ 2 beer special you can choose from a list of 200 beers all of which are actually good beers! Ex. Sierra Nevada, Anderson Brewing Company, Deschutes, Kona Brewing Company. I did see Pabst Blue Ribbon and thought to myself that you may be overpaying for that one! Lol! ½ price pizza every day too. There is also peanuts at each table, and you can help yourself to more from the large bin. The 45cent per wing wasn’t bad either. They are the boneless wings and fried. We ordered the buffalo wings and they were okay. They have a different happy hour each night and the happy hour last allllll night till close. Yet another great deal! The bar didn’t seem overly crowded and filled with young people watching the play off game. We found our new Wed happy hour! I will have to come on a Monday as I read it was Martini for $ 3 night… They only lose one star for not having my Primo beer from Hawaii. That beer brings back many memories of Hawaii and I was so excited when I saw it on the 200 beer list menu, but they were out of it! Service was very attentive. The ladies made sure we had our beers and food.

Dont waste your time or money at this establishment! Service was bad, food was horrible and fake Italian décor was sorry. I ordered the seafood pasta in marinara sauce and there was meat in my sauce… wth!!! If theres meat in your sauce list it on the menu. If you wanna add shrimp to your meal they charge you $ 1.50 per shrimp and its shrimp not prawns. Take your chances here but im never going back thats for sure!

Man, is this place hit and miss. But they can be really good if you know what to order. The Great: Their lasagna is the best, but they’re constantly running out of it. Check to see if they have it and have a back up order in mind(This is coming from a girl who finds most lasagna to be «meh.» It’s won over my whole family.) Happy Hour All Night/Theme Nights: Their apps get ridiculously cheap. $ 3 for a huge plate of nachos. 25 cent wings. It’s ridiculous. Combine that with a coupon(the other day we got nachos and a free Margherita pizza) + bread and you’re full for almost no money at all. The Baked Stuffed Mushrooms are very different from other restaurants, but good. And their bread is great, and you always get a load or two even when you get your food to go Solid Dishes: Sicilian Fire Sticks — yum! Baked Tortellini — Surprisingly Flavorful. Carino’s Favorite Combo — Huge Portion — Easy to Split between two people. Eat that with bread and you and your +1 are full for the night for cheapish. Chicken Jalapeño Ravioli — Delicious and not too spicy. Chicken Scallopini — Crowd Pleaser. The Meh: Spicy Romano Chicken, Chicken Marasala, Skilletini Just avoid: Grilled Chicken Bowtie Festival(Blaaaaand). They don’t have it on the online menu anymore, but their shelled seafood/pasta combo was really boring, as well.

OIVEY! OIVEY!!! OIVEY!!! WTF?! WTF!!! WTF!!! Wait time is reasonable but the service is terrible. Let me repeat: TERRRRRIBLE!!! Like jaw dropping terrible people!!! A word of advice for Carino’s: If the service is BAD. The food tastes TERRIBLE. They have stale water and iced tea hanging out at each corner. I don’t know if its out of laziness or what… But seriously… Think of all the germs flying around, then they pour it into your glass. EWWWW… We had five. FIVE! different servers come and give us water, bread, balsamic vinaigrette, and food. WTF?! REALLY? We felt absolutely unattended. Our waitress, JESSICA P. Server #24(girl with a big fat white flower in her hair), was completely unhelpful and inattentive. We asked for water with lemon. Our water came out 10 minutes later… with no lemon… brought by a different server. We asked for bread. The bread plates were brought by yet ANOTHER server, with oil on every single plate. While they were stacked on top of each other. EW. We asked for balsamic vinaigrette… yet again, another server came out with it. Can you see the pattern folks??? This trend went on throughout dinner… Mind you it wasn’t that it was busy. Because it was obvious that she was helping out the other tables around us; coming back to those tables more than once or twice.(Although she did try to redeem herself when she saw me writing this review on my phone. But by that time, it was too late.) I mean I get it, everyone has bad days. So do I, but her service was just inexcusable and absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. Perhaps homegirl stereotyped us and thought we didn’t tip well? Well congratulations to you Jessica P. Server #24! Not only do you get no tip, you get the honor of getting a shout out on Unilocal :) The one star is for Mike! He was the only server who actually treated us like paying customers.

The food here is obviously chain restaurant slop. I’ve been here a few times over the years and each time my experience is worse than before. I’ve had minor problems here every time. Since they have remodeled it is a lot louder and chaotic. It feels like being in a wannabe Italian bar in New York, especially with it’s new name Jonny’s(as in Jonny Carino’s which then went to Carino’s) and the lame t-shirts the staff wears. It was so loud in the dining area that we had to yell over each other due to the volume from the bar. The food leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing tastes especially good and it looked like it was an Italian style microwave dinner. The staff seem really rushed and frazzled and had to yell over the din from the lounge/bar area. We were sat next to a really large party that added to the already raucous noise. The price is about average, but for the food I got and the service I received, it didn’t seem fair. I won’t be back.

I keep coming back here thinking that perhaps I went on an off day and that the food will be better next time, but it’s always just a little above okay. The last time I was here I ordered the New York Steak with Calamari and red roasted potatoes($ 20). The steak was how I ordered it(medium), but the calamari was not fried long enough. It was somewhat soggy and did not look golden brown as it should. The potatoes on the other hand seemed over-cooked, somewhat chewy, greasy, and lacking in flavor. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is very friendly, but I’ll think again before returning.
