This is your typical Quiznos in your typical newer suburban community on the edges of the Valley of the Sun, in the Del Webb planned community of Anthem, AZ.
Anthem is a large, upscale, master planned community well north of Phoenix off I-​17. Here, everything is scripted into an idealic, über suburban community of middle class families. Not as well off as Paradise Valley or North Scottsdale, but striving.
The teens working here to make you a sandwich are as you would expect. Protected, sheltered, goofy, naïve, but generally well behaved and bred. Not a lot of traffic or commotion in this planned community. The sandwich makers got excited when the Sheriff stopped someone for a traffic violation in the parking lot two lots over.
The sandwiches here are ho hum, too. Just another day in a suburban sandwich shop in a cookie cutter, national chain store type mall on the edge of a major southwestern city.
