Anthem Community Farmer’s Market

Since neither of us had visited since the very first market-​a girlfriend and I went this morning! We found that while neither of us could still afford most of the products, we did wish we had held off on that stop at Starbucks! We found that there was not only a coffee place with cold brew, but a couple of really good tea options! Plus there were a couple of great choices for breakfast as well with Chef Jean who had some great fare and a tamale place that even had some vegan options for non-​dairy me! Next time-we’re going to at least try those two places!

It seems many of the same vendors attend all markets, but Anthem’s market has the distinct advantage of the breathtaking setting of the community park. At the base of Daisy Mountain by a small lake, children frolic, birds chirp, the sun shines and a musician or two launch melodies into the wind. Add fresh picked produce, some specialty baked goods and other fun finds to this idyllic setting and you’ll find yourself feeling glad to be alive.

I have gone every Sunday for 2 months to this dog friendly market. Selection and quality is tops and the vendors seem happy to be there and are super nice. This is not a cheap market — but quality is high end. Highly recommend Chef Jean’s creations.
