Not sure what to get, try one of everything, it is that good. Swedish Kringle, Salted Caramel Eclaire, and all of the soups, just a few of our favorites. You can almost taste the care they put into the hand made goodies.

Perfection! Amazing customer service! The Raspberry EClaire was insanely divine The twix bar brownie knocked our socks off!!! The wonderful ambience was such an out of this world surprise. I just happened to be walking by and got lucky to find this gem. The owner is hands on and sweet like her goodies!

This place was awesome! We had gotten so many good things. The treats were sweet & fresh. I had gotten the Frosted rose & flourless chocolate cake. The rose was a bit too sweet for my taste but, I recommend it to people who love very sweet things. The flourless chocolate was not as sweet but I loved it! It had a dark chocolate flavor and very rich(I like rich foods) so, I definitely recommend this place. :-)

This bakery has such a nice selection! I tried the almond twist with vanilla custard(not sure of that is it’s actual name), a sugar twist with cardamom, and their beehive. All were so amazing! My boyfriend loved the surprise bakery items I brought home so much that we will most likely end up going back when the weekend comes to pick up a few more treats. The staff were full of smiles and very quick to help. This was a very nice find for my family. I can see this becoming our go to bakery in this area.

I stopped here for a late breakfast today and it was fantastic. Note that you have to go in through the door to the right of the sign. It says something about being open at 10am, but that is not for the bakery.

I have been to many bakery’s in the northern suburbs and this one beats them all. There are other reputable bakeries in the area, but this one stands out far and beyond any of the others. I highly recommend this place. They also have amazing panini’s around lunch time. You wont be disappointed.

Saw the sign and stopped while driving through Anoka, background is Swedish-Finnish. Enjoyed the Swedish Kringle and other pastry with Lingonberry«Fall …»? Also brought home the Cardamom bread to have with coffee in morning, Nice find!

I stumbled upon this place while killing time before a business meeting. I ordered a coffee and a pastry, forget which, but it had cardamom and Apple spice. It was excellent. I’ve never tasted anything like that in the Twin Cities, where it has more of the bread taste and a slight sweet flavor, rather than the sugar bomb you get at many bakeries. You can tell they care about what they are doing here, and the breads and everything in the display booth looked incredible.

This local bakery makes everything in house, from scratch. No high fructose corn syrup, nothing fried. Just delicious goodness! Their paninis are scrumptious as well! Very friendly owners will direct you to their personal favorites and help you decide from the visually stunning array of baked goods. The freshly made desserts are not overly sweet which allows the flavors of the other ingredients to shine through!

I came across this bakery by happenstance on my way through Anoka. As I had a hankering for something sweet, I thought I would stop. First impression, the bakery was beautiful and was stocked aplenty. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The man who helped me was smart and informed me about the emphasis of «clean» ingredients the bakery uses. I thoroughly enjoyed the«twix bar» and éclair I purchased. If you are in the area or just passing through I would recommend stopping. The quality and craftsmanship of their food can’t be beat.

I am not one to pursue bakeries, but I have kids that love sweets. I thought I would stop and pick up dessert after picking up dinner as a treat. I chose a chocolate, caramel sea salt éclair…wow. Amazing. I shared this with my 10 year old whom gave me back her half. Yay! Why did she give it back? Because we also were supposed to share a Beehive Tosca filled with Bavarian cream. Tons of it. Needless to say I lost her at hello-I mean Bavarian cream. I will be back to try some breads and the salmon Arugula sandwich for lunch.

Oh my if their baked goodies are delicious! We tried the winter in Sweden and almond twisty pastries and both of them were divine. Definitely coming back for some more treats. Their breads seem to be a bit pricey, but I’m sure it’s due to the quality of the ingredients. The staff is exceptional. Highly recommended!

I wanted to love this place so much. Let me start by saying it’s very cute inside and the service was exceptional. I think it was the owner who was helping me, and he was so nice and helpful! He said everything is all natural, not weird ingredients, and«healthy» as far as baked goods go. However, I didn’t like my pastry at all. It was bland and flavorless and not good. I was so disappointed. It was highly recommended by him and another girl in the shop too! I can’t speak for anything else they sell becuase everything looked awesome. But it was a huge waste of four dollars and I threw almost the whole thing away. Some kind of bun with almond paste and cream filling. The bread was tough and flavorless, the filling was bland. So sad.

We continue to love this place. I’ve recently stopped in for lunch and had to update my review. I ordered the Indian selection for the day(yes, an Indian-inspired dish at a Swedish bakery) and it was wonderful. My friend had the Greek soup(love the diverse menu!) and enjoyed it. I also had the hot cocoa which was delicious. They came to check on our food and later when my friend was too full to eat all of her soup, they came out to make sure it wasn’t due to taste as they would’ve offered her something else — too kind! Yesterday I stopped in to pick up treats for gifts for Valentine’s Day and have to note that the chocolate covered strawberries were just wonderful. I’ve also picked up the garlic sourdough bread — didn’t even need butter it was so full of flavor. It was wonderful to see how busy it was the last few times I’ve been in. So glad this is only a few minute drive from home!

I love this place. The last time I visited, there was a very personable man working. He convinced me to try a gluten free cake, claiming I wouldn’t even be able to tell… to my shock, he was right! I had a macaron, which was good but too sweet for my taste. Their smoothies are fresh and organic, which won me over. I’ve had other things, but can’t remember the names. I’ve never had 1 bad thing from this place! If you haven’t visited, I recommend giving them a shot ;)

This place is hands down my favorite bakery. If you are looking for organic or gluten free, this is your place. If not, I still highly suggest coming here. The treats here are awesome and I love that the ingredients are quality. It is a fairly small place, but very quaint and has a Scandinavian feel. They also have some treats from Scandinavia, so pick some up to bring home. I was a big fan of Han’s Bakery, but I will choose this place hands down… sorry Han’s. The customer service here is AMAZING. They know about all of the ingredients, this is super helpful. I would honestly make the trip here, even if it is a longish drive.
