This place sucks now. Food is never cooked right and the servers are the worst. 1 out of 10 times they get it right… I could go on and on about how bad this place is.

I grew up as a young boy eating at Perkins on Saturday and Sunday mornings with my grandparents in Lawrence Kansas. I was thrilled while on vacation in Minnesota to find a Perkins close to my hotel. I was in town for the University of Michigan vs the University of Minnesota football game and decided to stop in for a late night dinner after an incredible game. The restaurant was very clean and we were greeted by the hostess immediately seated. There were 4 or 5 tables occupied as we were seated and several waitstaff. I must say that I was not impressed with the waitress right off the bat. When the waitress brought out the coffee mugs a 2 two thermos’ she commented that she would pour the coffee but it would be a waste of time. I actually thought she was joking at first but it became obvious that she was serious when she walked away. Two of us ordered the BLT sandwich. One with the side of fries, the other wanted just the sandwich. Bogh sandwiches came with only 2 strips of bacon and one of the others didn’t have any tomatoes. I was very disappointed and the experience was not like the memories I had eating at Perkins as a child.

Went there a few weeks ago waited an hour to get my food with my friend. They messed up my friends order so he sat and watched me eat and then Vice versa. The waiter eventually gave us our tab and said the meals were on him. My pal gave him a nice tip because he felt bad that the place was going to hell. All in all FUCKTHISPLACEABDTHATLITTLEPUSSYWAITER

Went last night. Took 1 hour to get our food and I had my 1 year old with us at 6:30, didn’t even eat until 7:45 Nd was crabby because he was hungry. Plates were hot which usually indicates food has been sitting under a heating lamp for a while before they actually bring the food out. All of our food was cold, fries were soggy, and French toast was burnt. We sat near the kitchen and the fridge looked disgusting when they opened it. Scrambled eggs were not good and so cold. My 1 year olds fruit was also bad. They never asked at the front how or food was just took payment. If they would have, I would have told them it wasn’t good and the service was awful. Not happy abut paying $ 30 for bad food. They need to close or have a health inspector in. It was that bad. Such a shame. Employees looked unhappy to be working rolled eyes at other costumers when they asked for a refill. It was sad to see.

I can’t believe I used to eat here all the time – yuck! I brought the family here yesterday for a late lunch. My 12 year old didn’t want to go because she said, «Only old people eat here!» She complained a lot but I drove there anyway. I told her that isn’t true. But I had to laugh when she was half right. There’s special parking in front for the elderly. She said, «See, I told you, look at the signs!» And the restaurant was actually half blue hair, wheel chairs, and walkers – I’m NOT kidding! Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against«old people» because, after all, we all get old. I’m getting pretty old myself. But it’s funny what kids pickup on. Okay, enough about the patrons. I won’t bore you with the details of our visit. Suffice it to say, everything is either frozen or canned. Service was super slow. I don’t know what I was thinking coming here. That being said, I would possibly come here again for a breakfast or for some of the baked goods. It’s hard to screw up an omelet. You can’t buy them frozen or canned – right?! –Daddy Maxx Retro

I went there once last year and had a horrible experience. They had me wait close to an hour for my food, and the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. Waitresses never came around to apologize for the wait. Only when the food came did they say a pitiful ‘thank you for waiting.’ On top of that, my burger was burnt. But I decided to give it another shot this year and it was an even worst experience. Walked in and I was the one waiting on the waitress and she looked like she hated her job, ordered and waited 46 minutes for my food, came out burnt, told my waitress and she looked like I had asked one of the most horrible requests in the century. My food came back and it was better. I went up to the register to pay and she didn’t even look at me. I gave her a $ 0.50 tip and made sure she saw it. Never going back to this location.
