Winston’s Haberdashery is a unique treasure in the Annapolis area. It’s worth a long drive, as there’s nothing like it around. The exquisite collection of furniture, accessories, men’s furnishings, suits, shoes, jackets, shirts, trousers – you name it… it’s there. Proprietor Robert has EXQUISITE TASTE and their prices are very reasonable. My favorite consignment shop on the East Coast!

Absolutely fabulous place. My husband and I have come away with so many great finds from here. The owner is down to earth, has excellent taste, and is always getting in new and quality furniture and/​or men’s clothing. This place is truly one of a kind!

Update: I received a phone call today from Robert, the business owner, and he rectified the entire situation. He apologized on behalf of his employee and offered to deliver the sofa at no cost. He was very understanding of my situation, and it was easy to schedule a delivery that accommodated my moving schedule. Now I can’t wait to get my new sofa!

Came up here from Arlington, looking at some consignment furniture-​went home with a sweet hall tree that will stand beside my front door holding hats, scarves and umbrellas. Did a quick stroll through the joint-​small, but well chosen selection of clothes, including coats, belts, shirts and pants, and some really great knitwear (kicking myself I didn’t get the grey cardigan I saw). The furniture/​decorations were seriously great; some nice leather chairs and couches, some sweet pictures (counted 3 sweet-​ass Bond movie posters) and various knicknacks. If I were a young bachelor I would head here quickly to decorate the pad.
Oh, and the owner, Robert, worked with me on the price! Despite it being an hour away, I’ll be back!

First, the furniture sold in this shop is so cool and creative. I have been into every consignment shop from Annapolis to DC to MD to VA. This shop is second to none!!! Here’s what most folks don’t know about this shop — It’s also a all Men’s Clothing Consignment shop too!!! The owner, Robert, has combined home furnishings with Men’s fashion. I wish I had thought of that. A brilliant idea. Men and women who come to Robert’s shop to find furnishings are amazed to also find many high-​end men’s clothing and shoes sprinkled throughout his shop. We are not talking about crap clothing here — we are talking amazingly low prices for high quality. I have brought name brands in Robert’s shop that has include — True Religion jeans, David Yurman jewerly, Etro, Robert Graham, Zegna, Prada and much more. Robert’s prices are lowest in the area. He even has sports clothing and shoes! What I also love about the men’s clothing is I can bring in my own clothes and I have the option of either consigning my items, selling my items for cash or I can get a credit to buy more clothing in the store. You have to know that most used clothing is almost worthless which is why typically we simply donate our clothes or worse, let them sit in our closets to rot. So, don’t expect to become a millionaire when you try to sell your used clothing anywhere. For me, if I bring my used clothes to Robert, whatever he feels is fair, that’s all I ask for. What I paid for my clothing doesn’t matter in the equation — what matters is what Robert feels he can sell each of my items for in his store. My advice to all is to visit Robert’s Consign and Design store to check out his used furnishings and also his men’s used clothing. There is no other shop like this. Because a few of us have become weekly visitors to his shop already, expect great shopping days but its possible you might come in one day and me and his loyal followers have already been there that day and bought all of his good stuff. His inventory changes everyday. Kill two birds with one stone — bring in your nice used men’s clothing to sell to Robert and spend time in his shop to buy his men’s clothing at ridicously low prices. Another reason to visit Robert’s shop is his is simply a great guy. He is not pushy at all and if you are like me, you might just hang out for an hour to meet another cool people who come in there too. Kudos to Robert’s Consign and Design vision!!!

Great consignment store! We went for the mid-​century and vintage offerings — good selection (for a small store) with GREAT prices. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about his items; he has a nice eye for interesting pieces. It was worth the trip up from DC. Check his website before you go, I don’t think he is open on Sundays.
