Nicole did my 15 minute facial and was so helpful reccomending products for me, she did not rush at all, spent an additional 15 minutes to talk to me about beauty care routines because I told her I’m very self conscious about how my skin condition is right now she was very caring sweet and professional. Picked out spefic products for my facial and gave me samples of everything she used. She is an actual aesthetician outside of work and the facial felt amazing, it’s free and I def recommend doing it. And my visit before that I had a different worker(unfortunately cannot remember her name) spend a good amount of time with me to pick out a new foundation that will do well with my dry skin. I love all of the products they recommended. I have been to multiple sephora’s and Annapolis mall is definitely the best, it is the only store that I enjoy being in. Customer service is A+. I’m there all the time and never have walked out disappointed every single employee there is great! Sephora is life

Bottom Line: A nicely organized store with a variety of brands and helpful staff. Sephora is a great place to splurge on beauty products. There are many brands and products packed into this store yet it is still well organized and easy to shop. Since I usually want to just grab what I need and get out of there, I typically ask for help finding my items. All of the staff is helpful but help ranges from pointing in a general direction to escorting you over to the products and providing additional information. I think the easiest way to access this Sephora is to park outside of Pottery Barn and then walk through Pottery Barn since the store is just a few doors down the mall.

Went to Sephora looking for a answer to covering my melasma. Skye, who works there, was knowledgeable regarding possible options and was so nice and helpful! She started by using what looked like a little stud finder that actually tells you what foundation color matches your skin. She then went over a list of different products narrowing it down to Cover FX which she felt would meet all of my needs. She actually applied it for me, 2 different shades, one on each side to see which I liked best! It made a huge difference and was exactly what I needed! She also gave me a few samples she felt would be helpful. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience! Thank you Skye!!!

I love this sephora. So much to shop for! Such a fun place. They don’t always have what I wanted(last time they didn’t have lash idol) but most of the time they do and I enjoy shopping here. The people that work here are very kind and not too in your face. They are very helpful and I always love the birthday cheer they give. It’s nice too that they give you free items when you shop so much, I have tried quiet a few new products that I have liked that way.

While they didn’t have what I was looking for, I do have the advantage of a full service Sephora AND a Sephora in Penney’s in the same mall all in close proximity to my house so what more could you ask for. I LOVE that I can get samples of anything I am interested in to try before I buy!

I have shopped this location for a while now with no problems. All of the Beauty Consultants have been super attentive and helpful up until today. I visited the store in search of a complete new set of beauty products(foundation, powder, eye shadow, mascara, etc.). The individual I was placed with was extremely condescending and rude from the beginning. She stated several times during my consultation that she was busy, and I needed to focus on one product that was my priority because she didn’t have time for a full makeover. She only tried one foundation on me and when I stated that the foundation did not provide the full coverage I was seeking, and that maybe I needed to also use a concealer in conjunction, her response was, «It sounds as if you don’t really know what it is your are looking for, so perhaps you should back another day?» She also indicated that she suggested I learn more about their Beauty Services because consultations typical require a $ 50 purchase(keep in mind I had more than this in my basket before I asked for assistance) and were by appointment only. I’ve always been helped without an appointment, so I’m not sure why today was any different. She commented multiple times on my skin texture indicating that it appeared I did not follow a skin care routine. After she rushed me away from the Beauty Bar, I asked again about eye shadow recommendations for Fall, and she asked what other colors I use. I indicated that I had the Urban Decay palettes but was looking for something new. She stated that since I already had the Urban Decay palettes, that it didn’t like I needed anymore. After being rushed and feeling super self conscious over her comments over my skin tone, I left looking like a ghost(her skinIQ matching skills were subpar) and immediately headed to Nordstrom’s in tears. The employees working the MAC counter immediately greeted me and assisted me letting me vent and listening to my needs attentively. 90 minutes later I left their counter, with a complete makeover and new products looking and feeling like a million bucks. Upon leaving I returned to the same Sephora store to return the products that I purchased hastily earlier and did have a good experience with the Manager who happened to process my refund. I briefly explained the situation and she was receptive to hearing me out but I was so embarrassed over how I had been treated I didn’t go into detail.

This location is a typical Sephora — excellent selection of high-end cosmetics and skin care. The employees are friendly, quick to help, and don’t hover while you shop. I am late to the party but recently discovered Deborah Lippmann polishes — the colors are gorgeous and long-lasting. At $ 18−20/bottle, it aint cheap but you’ve gotta treat yourself every so often.

First of all, I must say that I shop at Sephora regularly enough to be a «Rouge Member». I’ve been to Sephora stores everywhere– it’s my favorite store. In the Annapolis mall, however, I did not have a good experience. Extremely rude employees. It’s like they are bothered by you even coming in the store and don’t want your business. I haven’t been here in a while since I moved across the country but the sweet helpful employees that were there before aren’t there anymore. They have been replaced by very unprofessional, nasty women. If I decide to go to Sephora in Annapolis again it will be at the JC Penny.

I came in looking for the perfect warm winter perfume and spent a good 25 minutes with a knowledgeable and friendly associate and this neat touch-screen scent finder. I had so much fun and walked put with a new scent that I am so pleased with.

I’ll admit that I’m a bit of an addict to this store. Most of the associates know me by name at this point(which is rare these days and a big plus in my book) and are always extremely helpful, have great suggestions and are very friendly. I’ve also had my make-up done a few times and would readily do so again(compliments were too many to count) Wish the store was a bit bigger(hence 4 stars) and that the displays didn’t «move around» quite so much.

It’s pretty much the standard you expect from Sephora. Clean store, and 90% of the time very friendly staff. Occasionally you get someone kind of stand-offish but usually cheerful, helpful, lovely ladies. Great selection of make up, skin care and fragrances. Go and leave a glamazon!

I’ve been coming here pretty much every week for two years. I always forget to check in. I’m a kid in a candy store here :) all the high end makeup my little heart(and wallet) can handle. Always helpful personnel here and I feel right at home.

Sephora is usually an overwhelming playground. This one feels a bit smaller but it’s nice. You don’t have anyone at the door to greet you at this particular store and while I normally feel like they are a tad overbearing, I actually had questions and needed help during the past two visits. Once I flagged someone down they were very helpful, made a few suggestions for facial products and even gave me samples to try out for a few days before I made a purchase. I am happy to have a Sephora in the neighborhood and will definitely be back again soon.

The first time I stepped into a Sephora store, I was in 11th grade on a school trip in NYC, and at that point I hardly wore makeup. Now, I am addicted. Just the act of buying makeup makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, and it’s a rarity that I actually can walk out of a Sephora store without something wrapped up in tissue paper and stuffed into that black-and-white bag of theirs. Once I heard they were finally putting a Sephora store less than 15 miles from my house, I almost had a coronary. «Annapolis Mall gets an H&M, J. Crew AND a Sephora store? Good lord, I’m never coming home again.» The Annapolis location had their grand opening at the beginning of November, and while it’s not as big as some of the other stores I’ve been to, they manage to pile everything I NEED(yes, I need it all) into a smaller space. While I give Sephora stores on the whole five fabulous, sparkling stars, the Annapolis location gets four for a couple reasons. First off, I went in a few weeks after the opening looking for a specific Bare Escentuals product, only to find the slot for it empty. I asked if they had any more in the back, and the woman told me that they hadn’t received their first shipment of the product yet… and after looking around, I realized a lot of the slots around the store were empty. Ew, who opens a store that’s only half-full? Maybe it’s some kind of wild marketing strategy Sephora is using, but it’s a strategy that THIS consumer doesn’t like, and therefore THIS consumer is taking away a half-star for the location. Luckily there was a Bare Escentuals store that had opened up as well, and I bought the product there. Victory. Secondly,(and this is something I’ve noticed at the Columbia Mall location as well), a lot of the employees have no idea what the hell they’re talking about when you ask a makeup question. Yes yes, some of them do, and are fabulous ‘consultants’ as Sephora calls them, but to others I just want to ask«Do you even know what this is used for? You put it on your lashes to make them look fuller. FULL-ERR. Yes, for the fifth time, I AM a Beauty Insider.» Anyway, I’ve basically asked questions and received crap answers. Sometimes I even answer my own questions while they’re standing there(I figure it out on my own while they’re still a) looking for it, or b) trying to figure out an alternative). And while I’m not claiming to be a makeup expert, I buy craploads of it and that, in my eyes, makes me a semi-pro. When the consultant recommends the Clinique bronzing palette after you find they’re all out of the liquid bronzer, you can thank me later. It happened to be one of those ‘answered-my-own-question-in-front-of-her’ moments.
