A lot of hype but the quality wasn’t there. Simple and straight to the point. Service was blah but who cares, for the money this place charges, you can throw the damn food at me if it’s going to be the best thing I’ve ever had. If my steak was thrown at me, I would’ve needed a baseball glove to catch it cuz that sucker was overdone. It had a very definite char taste. I ended up in this fine establishment during restaurant week. Talk about a deal. It was the perfect atmosphere for a quiet date or anniversary. When I called to make a reservation their was very little choice, but I was told that we could always grab a seat at the bar if we are early. Which was a nice thing to hear, even though we all know it to be true. When asking for directions however they gave the address instead of stating they were basically in the bottom of the Westin. I could be wrong but I believe that would have been the best way to figure out where you are going. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious. Of course it is like your average steak restaurant where the sides are separate, and enormous. We were completely taken a back at the size of the bread that was placed in front of us. I had a ceasar salad that unfortunately tasted like a giant anchovy, which was not my cup of tea. Everything else was superb. I would definitely go again. You can totally park up the block at the Annapolis public parking if you don’t feel like shelling out for the valet. Although you can have the valet parking put on your bill.
