The people working here are incompetent. EVERY time I come here there is an issue. This is what happens when you hire a bunch of careless teenagers.

I had the meatball sub. Picture looked much better. There were few meatballs, the bread didn’t hold up to the ‘meat sauce’ and the flavor on the meatballs was lacking. Quiznos is much better, even subway, and both are cheaper than the $ 10 I paid here. I’ve heard this place is really good in other locations. At this location, pass…

The salads are nothing but lettuce. Tiny amount of meat, cheese and tomatoes. The old Chopped salad was better with more meat and cheese. For $ 8 it was a waste of money. I won’t be back

Very good pastrami sub. Would rate others but I keep getting a large and eating it all. Reminds me of the good Jewish deli kind.

One star for cleanliness, good service and efficiency. Had a tuna sub and it had too much salt and pepper. The roll was thick and tasteless. Threw my entire sub out and ate the chips. Husband had a turkey sub with cheese and no surprise, that was tasteless too. Very disappointed.

I had the Bobbie. I love turkey, stuffing, and cranberries! I would definitely order it again. I would probably ask for the turkey and stuffing to be warmed next time, but that’s a personal preference. My boyfriend really liked his sandwich and he worked at a deli in New York.

The Bobbie has ruined my day more times then I care to say. I walk in convinced I want a 9″ but I consistently get the biggest size, crush it, and feel stuffed the rest of the day. I have eaten here at 1000 when they open, during busy hours around 1200 and around 2000 in the evening. I always get my Bobbie quickly and it is the same quality consistently. I should add that I have never had any of there other sandwiches because the Bobbie is so good. It is true that they are a little expensive but that is really the only downside. The eating area isn’t immaculate but it’s a sandwich shop that I am spending $ 10 at so it’s not real concerning for me. The cherry on top for me is their mobile app, it is one of the better ones I have used.

I’m shocked at the bad reviews here. I’ve never had a bad experience at any Capriotti’s and their sandwiches are outrageously delicious, second only to a high-end restaurant in TX. A bit over priced maybe, I would definitely eat there more if it were less expensive.

Sadly, after initially enjoying some subs from here we will not be returning. I agree with the other reviewers about the cheesesteak and other offerings. My last sub was so disappointing I ended up throwing a lot of it away. They are way over priced to begin with(since they are clearly NOT using quality meat or bread) leaving here hungry was just another reason to stay away. If you are going to go the effort of roasting turkeys, I think it would be better if the meat was sliced as the pulled version just gets lost with the bread and the toppings. How about incorporating some great gravy or juices from the bird? I didn’t even taste the turkey last time, which was a complete bummer. I cannot imagine how their bobby sandwich was named best in the US or wherever. I could crank out a better sub using cold cuts at home. I’m keeping my money in my pocket and going elsewhere.

This place is a bit of a mess the sub wasn’t bad nothing overly exciting but the place was a mess and the floors were gross! I am not sure I will be coming back to spend $ 12 – 14 for lunch when the place is this messy! I would not suggest this place for lunch in annapolis. Lots of better places in the area close to riva.

I love Capriotti’s so much that every trip I take to Las Vegas I make a special ‘pilgrimage’ to get at least one sandwich; but, thankfully now we have one in Annapolis! The staff here were great — even when we came in 10 minutes to close, they were very friendly and fast. Only down size was the flavors of the signature«Bobby» I ordered. The Earl of Sandwich in Las Vegas has a very similar style of sub, however, theirs is piping hot — the one at Capriotti’s in Annapolis was the polar opposite. Everything was just cold. Granted I expect the cranberry to be cool and maybe the stuffing, though it was slightly warm, but the turkey was as dry as the bread and really difficult to finish(I regret ordering a medium). I am assuming my poor meal was a result of my late arrival to the shop, but still to serve the food as they did shows the night-crew doesn’t really care too much about the food quality. Sadly, I have to rate this 3 stars — very avergae, boring, and honestly not what I know of the Capriotti’s Sandwich brand.

They make a decent sandwich, but honestly, I’m not sure about the hype. We ordered the Capastrami and The Bobbie. The capastrami was a good, although a bit too salty. The bobbie was just okay, and definitely under seasoned. The sandwiches are a good size(that’s what she said), but not nearly ‘the best sandwich in America’ I’d give it three stars for delivering a decent sandwich at a decent price… nothing outstanding, and I haven’t been back despite driving past here frequently. The store itself has a good amount of space, and could handle a decent number of people staying to eat there. It’s also well laid out to really facilitate the flow of a heavy lunch crowd… I just don’t think they get that crowd. I wish I could make this review better, more substantial, but I can’t, that’s about all I have to say about Capriotti’s. Maybe if I hadn’t heard so much hype, I’d think differently.

3÷11÷2015 The Medium cheese steak sub was overpriced, contained a skimpy amount of dry, tasteless chopped steak, and had very little cheese. The ingredients in the sub were not hot. Ordered cooked mushrooms, for 75 cents extra, and received uncooked mushrooms. The bread was poor quality, dry, and tasteless. The staff were disorganized. My brother and a friend also commented on the lack of quality of the cheese steak subs that we received. I DONOTRECOMMEND. Pete S. Annapolis, Maryland

The turkey subs I order are always delicious and the shop is always clean. No complaints there! I love their App and their rewards. However, at times, service is super slow. Many of the cashiers are super friendly, but there has been a few employees who lack professionalism. I wish the prices were a little more budget friendly, but that won’t stop me from going here.

I’m super bummed about my food. I’m new to the area and remember when this shop was first opening and for some reason had it in my head that this would be epic Italian sandwiches. I finally made my way into the shop. The food wasn’t terrible, but definitely way over priced for what it was. The customer service was good though!

I had a 2′ cheesesteak a few months ago. Meat was dry, super chewy and lacked flavor. It didn’t taste right from the first bite, however, I continued eating because my daughter said«You’re not going to eat all that Daddy!». I showed her alright! I ate the whole damn thing. Unfortunately I paid the ultimate price for being a manly man. I woke up at 1:30 vomiting out my mouth and rear end. Didn’t stop there. Oh no, not even close. I was sick for 5 fn days with the worse bout of food poisoning I’ve ever had. I’ve never felt that sick and I will never eat at this franchise again. It’s extremely hard to believe that guy Scott’s review. This place blows

The service was slow although there were only two other people besides us. There was no soap in either of the restrooms(which made me wonder…) and the kids working there had no clue about anything. Sandwich was alright but nothing too rave about. Not likely to return there.

When is a turkey sandwich not just a turkey sandwich? When the turkey is freshly carved off of a oven cooked turkey prepared daily at Capriotti’s. Loving me a good grinder, sub, hoagie, or just sammich, I strolled into the joint to give it a shot. The line was longer than your average sub shop and the smell that hit me as I entered the door was nothing short of intoxicating. After getting to the counter I ordered a 12 inch(way too much for one person), and had a seat to wait for my sandwich. A few minutes later I heard my name called and picked up my sandwich snd returned to my seat. After opening the wrapper and inspecting my turkey on a hoagie roll I dug in. The tomato’s and lettuce worked well with the additional spices that they applied to the sandwich. I love mustard so the faint taste of the mustard was not overpowering, but it did help tame the onions down a bit. The star of the sandwich of course was the freshly cooked turkey. To explain it is simple. At Thanksgiving after the meal is over and you are putting the leftover turkey away there always seems to be tiny crumbs of turkey left on the plate, well now make a sandwich out of all those turkey morsels. One of the best turkey sandwiches I have had. Stop going to the chain sub shops and get a great sandwich. The couple that sat next to me had the philly steak sandwich and all they kept saying was«Oh my god», I take it that they also enjoyed their meal. Give them a try and if you don’t like the food, drop me a line.

Yesterday was rainy and I was heading into week two of the flu and nothing sounded good. Stopped by for a sandwich to go on the way home from some errands. A Bobbi and a meatball each 12″. HUGE sandwiches on fresh bread. It was our first stop at a Capriotti’s. The menu board is large and easy to read. It was crowded and there wasn’t a lot of room to stand and wait. My husband loved the Bobbi. My meatball sub wasn’t very flavorful but the cheese was melted just right and the rolls were excellent. I am going to go back and try some other menu items and see if the flu was the reason that my meatball sub lacked much flavor.

I wanted to try the new shop in town and got the turkey sub. The turkey was pretty dry and the bread was disappointing. Seems weird that they don’t have bacon available as an add-on. I had never heard of this place and was hoping it was a new local place but apparently this is one of over a hundred locations which is shocking. Service was whiny and the food was slow. I think they should probably limit their losses and hang up the going out of business sign now, maybe somebody will buy some of the equipment?
