Used to give 5 stars, now 3… The«2 side» meal now considers the rice a side so it’s really 1 less side than it used to be. That aside the food is good(foot court compared) and price decent. Enjoy! :)

I give this place 4 stars because for being in a food court overall is good. One thing I really like about this place is that every time I have been there I always enjoy awesome chicken and rice which has no msg and is quite tasty. Also the store manager Chase is very friendly. The only complaints I have about the food is the vegetables which are all frozen and the patatoes are instant. I don’t mind eating frozen food, but I know most people do not.

2 stars just because the prices are decent, by mall standards. I bought the vegetarian platter with 2 sides. Not impressed at all. Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes are of the instant variety, without seasoning. Red bean and rice were OK. Don’t know how the meat is, but it can’t be any worse.

In high school, I used to go to Montgomery Mall on a regular basis and almost every time, I would eat a Sarku teriyaki chicken w/double meat before heading down to the arcade to play Time Crisis for an hour for $ 5 b/c of the crooked employee there who would manually add a boatload of credits. As a result, I can’t pay for arcade games anymore, probably have some nerve damage in my right trigger finger, and enjoy food court chicken teriyaki. Some of you may balk at the thought of giving food court food 4 stars, but let me assure you, Big Easy Cajun is good for several reasons. 1) If you like Sarku and you like sugar and fat, you’ll love Big Easy. The chicken is fattier and the sauce is much sweeter. 2) A chicken plate with rice and broccoli will run you $ 6( ) 3) The teriyaki sauce that they pour over the rice is soooo good! Again, only if you like sugar, and who doesn’t like sugar? Diabetics, don’t answer that. 4) You can walk around and try a piece of meat from all the different places. I love food courts! 5) The broccoli here is very healthy. You see, when I go to the mall, I tell myself that I’m burning calories by walking around. So to reward myself for all that hard work, I usually get a pretzel from Auntie Anne’s, a cookie from Mrs. Field’s, a bubble tea from Jasmine, an Orange Julius, and ice cream from Maggie Moo’s. And since the broccoli isn’t soaking in oil, I don’t feel too bad eating it. By no means is this place worth driving out to, but if you’re ever at Annapolis Mall, make sure you eat at Big Easy. *Disclaimer: I’ve not tried anything else here. I’ve learned over the years that at food courts, when you find something good, don’t mess with it.
