Ayanna James, MD

Dr. James has been my GYN doctor for a few year’s now. She’s been very patient with me on my office visits. If there was something I didn’t understand she sat and took her time to explain so that I could understand what was going on wih me. I would recommend her services to anyone! She knows her stuff! She’s very professional! And whenever I needed to talk to her about a matter she called me back. The staff is very courtesy and helpful! If you’re looking for a GYN doctor please check her out!

Not too sure what the other reviewer is talking about, however, I have been a patient of Dr. James’ for 8 years now and I don’t have any complaints! She is a great doctor who has kept it very real with me, which I love! I had two pregnancies that didn’t end the way I wanted them to and she was right there with me through them both! When I finally had my daughter, she was very honest and up front with me the entire 9 months. She worked in conjunction with a specialist and my daughter was born happy and healthy!
I actually love going into the office to see the ladies and Dr. James; they kind of feel like family to me! When I was going through my previous pregnancies, Dr. James and the staff were very compassionate and talked me through my grief and reassured me that when the time came again, she would do her best to make the outcome different! I simply am grateful for her candor and compassion! And now that I am not in the baby making business, our visits are fun and we talk about the life and children during a very awkward exam! I simply love the staff and Dr. James, simply put

Dr. James is a very cold, condescending, and uncaring individual. She is beyond rude and if you have any concerns, she just flat out laughs in your face. She had me do a c-​section for my first daughter, and tried to scare me into another with my second. She used the «VBACs are way to dangerous», «big baby», and «small pelvis» excuse. I decided to use a midwifery and had my second healthy baby girl vaginally. Just like my first baby, my second was also 8lbs and 6oz. So much for me having a small pelvis huh? If you want an OBGYN that is cruel, and money hungry, Dr. James is definitely the one for you. If not, I highly suggest finding someone else. Someone that will actually be respectful, caring, and think of you first and foremost.
