This will be the last time I get my nails done in a while… No issues when I had the gel manicure done a couple weeks ago, but when I came back in to have the gel removed, the nail tech was extremely rough and made my fingers bleed.

I can’t commend the staff at Annapolis Nails and Spa more. The group is a testament to courtesy and professionalism. As an anniversary present, I treated my girlfriend to a complete package to make her — as she calls it – «purty». She went in on a Saturday morning and she was instantly greeted in a friendly manner and put right at home. For her deluxe pedicure, at an all-too reasonable price of $ 60, she was given the royal treatment. The nail techs did a highly professional job and made my girlfriend look smashing. My girlfriend says the techs put in a quality hour, creating a masterpiece out of her feet. Boys, if your lady is in the area or you’re trying to get on your girlfriend’s good side, you absolutely must bring her here.

I made the horrific mistake of coming here, but NEEEEEEEVERRRRR again! DONOT, I REPEAT: DONOT be fooled by initial appearances; sure, décor is one thing but quality, professionalism and service, is entirely another! «Lilly» the so called«mgr./management/ nail tech»(who sits in the first station) may, offer you a scripted«sweetie,» but it’s «artificial ‘sweetener’» Fact: her behavior an attitude is INCREDIBLY rude, belligerent & completely unprofessional; She has a bratty/bitchy, self-entitled disposition(that reads borderline Bi-polar) & quite frankly, she needs a MAJORATTITUDEADJUSTMENT. All you have to do is look beyond the surface and it shows itself, readily. Sadly, it’s ingrained and a all that glitters ain’t gold. Having been a celebrity artist in film, fashion, and television, trust me when I tell you, she’s doing a disservice to authentic spas who offer quality customer service. «Lilly» is insensitive towards customers, smart mouthed and has zero business sensibility as to what is appropriate behavior. Having a business doesn’t warrant one to speak to people, however they ‘damn well please’ and it’s certainly NOT wise! At the rate she’s going, she’s lost clients and will continue to, with this snide posturing. No one OWES you their business & word travels, FAST! Not to mention, your work is lackluster, if one has to keep coming back for repairs, because your piss-poor attitude, also dictates your level of service – no wonder! There are pleeeeenttttyyyy of options where there is a standard of quality service, respect and professionalism. «Lilly’s» UNPROVOKED, outrageous & incendiary verbally abusive behavior towards me, for SIMPLY changing an appointment time(to one more mutually convenient –in which, she was AVAILABLE-) was UNDESERVED, unwarranted and out of order!!! This, despite my courtesy call, to advise, reschedule due to a family matter. Newsflash: people have lives and one may need to reschedule– however, having to do so does not justify vile treatment-EVER! Nor, is it appropriate, to «come at» people supporting your business –period. Copping an attitude, like you’re doing someone a favor, really?(You’re not… you’re -‘at best,’- correcting your(shoddy) work. And, if you did it right, in the first place, you wouldn’t need to seek to push-off, to someone else! Another time, I had to wait for a tech to eat lunch and then program the iPad to work as a remote for the flatscreen tv, no consideration for my time, nor acknowledgement, to the point the tech next to me,(who was servicing a client) turned on the tub/chair for my pedicure after 20 or so minutes did I make a scene, no, I certainly could have and I still tipped, despite the fact. No apology offered on either occasion, therefore, I refuse to support this business, where the owner and or staff/family thinks it’s okay to not honor other people’s time, yet be condescending… Negative. I could go on, trust me, unsavory comments about Black lives… Being insignificant, But just good enough, as long as the money is green, huh?! You’re not«winning,» when you’re loosing customers! Furthermore, clients are not employees; NOR is this a dictatorship. «Lilly» is sadly mistaken to think that her self-righteous bent affords her the right to antagonize clients & reprimand them. GET-REALLLLL, NOONEDIEDANDEXALTEDYOUQUEEN! I’ve never experienced such foul behavior, in my life, and I’ve been getting my nails done for 20 +years. Again, clearly she has no business, taking clients if she can’t be courteous, respectful and conduct herself in a mature and professional manner. Being pregnant is no excuse, nor a pass to provoke, if you’re having a bad day, do the world a favor and stay-at– home! Professional Spa Service is not dictated according to ones mood swings, be they obnoxious and borderline bi-polar. Know your audience, young lady. Reputation is currency and the way Lilly conducts her business, falls under gross negligence. I most certainly will NOT be returning; & taking my business elsewhere, I suggest you do the same unless you like this sort of «spa» treatment. I made a mistake supporting and referring this business, prematurely, to my chagrin. However, the mask has fallen off and revealed an deeper & uglier side, that is not worth your money nor your time. Trust me. Go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble.

I absolutely love this place and am sad to see it’s lacking the amazing reviews that it deserves! Every time I come, I’m greeted by an incredibly friendly staff who are always willing to accommodate me. I can’t say enough about how awesome their spa pedicures are! Last time I was there, they worked on my feet for over an hour and then let me sit in the chair for another half hour to ensure that my polish was dry. The young woman working on me(whose name I unfortunately forgot) constantly checked in to see if I wanted water or needed anything. Something else that I really appreciate about this place is that they are not pushy with their other services. I only wanted a pedicure and she was fine with that. No pushing a manicure on me or insisting that I get my eyebrows waxed as a lot of places often do. They also seem to really care about their customers. I’ve only been there a few times, so I can’t say I’m a regular(yet!) but I overheard them talking to other ladies getting services and asking them, «How is your son? He’s starting kindergarten this year right?» Talk about an attentive staff! All in all love the services, love the gorgeous atmosphere/massage chairs, and the super friendly and professional staff!

Annapolis Nails & Spa was recommended to me by a friend who lives in town. I was looking for a place to take my mother and bridesmaids the day before my wedding for get main and pedis and this was a great experience! We went in first thing on a Friday morning and they were already for us(we made an appointment). We had 7 chairs right next to each other and everyone was so friendly. Service was quick but thorough and we were all pleased! And at the end they sent me off with a goody bag including the nail color in case I needed any touch ups before the wedding day. HIGHLY recommended!
