I love TLJ. But actually this place not perfect at all. But in my heart TLJ make me starving every single time I’m thinking about it. I came late so that why they have some left. I feel so bad cause I can’t give this place 5stars.

Of all the Korean bakeries in the area, this is most«meh». It has less variety than Shilla which is across the street, and fewer traditional Korean bakery items. I got a few things to go, and each was just okay. Nothing really stood out, and honestly I can’t even remember the names.

I like coming here because it’s really clean and cute and it’s a good place to hang out with friends. There’s a lot of space to walk around and you don’t feel cramped or too close to other customers like you might at other bakeries. There is a larger variety of desserts and pastries than their competitors. There’s also a lot of savory options like croquettes which makes it possible to come here for a quick lunch, rather than only stopping by after you’ve indulged at your fav kbbq spot. I am never really impressed with their bingsoo. I got the green tea last time and it came with the softserve on top, however, it’s always pretty melted by the time they bring it out. It comes out in a taller plastic cup so you pretty much have to eat the icecream by itself before you can get down to the shave ice and at that point you’re just eating flavored icy water. I do really appreciate their service though, because they let us take back the first one since it had kiwi and I’m allergic. No charge or difficulty! Overall, everything here is fine, but not memorable. I would mostly come here for the calm atmosphere or if I knew I needed a place to sit for awhile.

The five stars are for Tous Les Jour’s blueberry cream cheese bun and strawberry & cream cheese croissant-very yummy, especially the croissant. I didn’t particularly like their honey bun though, but no worries because there are so many other options if you don’t like the first thing you try. I haven’t tried Shilla’s yet so I can’t compare the two, but my friend has stopped going to Shilla’s after discovering Tous Les Jours.

tous les jours is located in annandale tucked away near the giant and bonchon and across the street from honey pig. it looks small on the outside then opens up into a big airy bakery/café(it’s actually almost too airy to the point where it needs to be filled with something else). everything is visually appealing; the fake exposed brick, comfy chairs, perfectly shiny baked goods. it’s a nice place to meet up with friends. i ordered a red bean bingsoo(per some Unilocal recs) and a coffee to share with my husband and it was just mediocre. the bingsoo was large, super sweet, and very beany. i wish they could offer it one size down. even with two people it was too much.

Nice hang out spot. Seats were filled up on a Sunday night. The happy bear bun and blueberry cream cheese pastry were both yummy and left me wanting more. Seeing Kim Soo Hyun on the screen at the checkout counter is also a bonus. I would definitely return!

I’ve visited various Tous Les Jours in several cities, but the experiences were never too memorable or note-worthy. The café atmosphere is nice and provides a comfortable ambience. I noticed during my visit to the Tous Les Jours in Maryland that a lot of people were studying, working, or meeting with friends. The drinks are okay — I like their green tea lattes, but the prices for drinks and desserts always seem to be more expensive than the quality/size of the items themselves. The factor that I’m usually most disappointed with is their breads; every time I’ve purchased an item with filling(like a custard bread, red-bean filling, soboro cream bread), there was little to no filling and I would usually end up with empty bites of bread. Overall, the experience is pretty run-of-the-mill and I would probably opt to visit another café/bakery around the area if there is one.

This hidden treasure is your not-so-typical French bakery tucked away in Annandale, VA. A friend and I were looking for a late-night coffee shop and dessert place on a weeknight, and we stumbled upon Tous Les Jours. Feeling adventurous, we followed our trusty Google Maps which led us directly to the storefront which is located in a large parking lot next to a grocery store. The bakery is spacious, well-lit and clean with a wide-variety if uniquely flavored and delicious looking pastries and desserts. It took us quite a while to choose which pastries to try because there were so many exotic baked goods to pick from. We settled on the croissant with cream and strawberries for a safer choice and the pumpkin filled donut bun with black sesame seeds for a more daring choice. The croissant was just as delicious as it sounds and the pumpkin donut was equally yummy with very fresh pumpkin filling. After devouring our desserts, we decided to buy some honey-dipped bread to-go. The bread was quickly eaten later-on that evening, and was equally finger-licking good with a buttery, sweet honey flavor. Overall, a great find with unique French and Asian flavored baked goods that are fresh and delicious. I hope to return soon to try more of the unique items you don’t find in your every day bakery.

The drinks are way too sweet, and unfortunately it’s not possible to decrease their sweetness, like you can do at Kung Fu Tea nearby. I can barely finish the drinks from Tous Les Jours, and to me, that’s a dealbreaker. The pastries and cakes hit the spot, though. THe ambiance and décor are nice and create an inviting atmosphere for both studying and socializing.

I love this spot. The pastries are so amazingly mesmerizing. It’s a Korean bakery with a French name… Which confused me at first… It’s definitely a Korean style bakery with French influences. They serve a lot of French inspired pastries. They have buttery croissant and many cream based pastries. They also serve a wide range of bingsoos. Bingsoo is a Korean style shaved ice dessert loaded with sweet red bean paste, fruits and other decadent toppings. However, now and days many places put a twist on this traditional ice dessert. This bakery’s twist on this classic shaved ice dessert is probably one of my favorite. They flavor their ice. Each spoonful of ice is loaded with sugary goodness and sweet flavor. I love that about this place. You should definite get the taro Bingsoo. They load the Bingsoo ice with a saturated taro flavor. They top it with a large serving of custard ice cream. Their Bingsoos are loaded with a heaping serving of mochi chunks. Mochi is a rice cake, it adds a perfect amount of texture to the Bingsoos.

I’ve never tried their pastries or drinks, I’ve only ordered their cakes so the 4 stars is for the cake itself. I always order the blueberry yogurt cake for every birthday, it’s a must! It’s lighter than frosting and has a distinguishing taste compared to the cakes I’ve tried from Breeze or Shilla. Everyone loves that cake, I recommend that you all try it! The parking situation is a little tight, but it’s definitely better than Breeze or Shilla. Tous Les Jours has their own parking spaces in front, on the side, and I believe in the back. I never have any problem finding a spot, only problem is getting out of the car. The inside is nice and spacious, they even have a private glass room for large groups. Looks like a great place to study in!

3.5 because of their bad service… The girl who takes orders clearly does not know how to take orders. She looked so lost and annoyed, which made us really frustrated. At first I thought she was Korean, so I spoke to her in Korean, and she looked annoyed and just spoke back to me in English. So I ordered in English, and she was still confused!!! UGH. 1. We ordered a latte and it took forever. I think we waited for almost 20 minutes because there were problems with orders 2. We ordered an iced sweet milk tea latte and she made us iced milk tea( which btw tasted like milk with ice cubes…). Well, at first they made us hot milk tea, and then just threw in some ice… hmmm… and then we realized that they made us the wrong tea, so they had to remake it again… for the 2nd time. The guy who remade us the tea latte was really nice, and he gave us free cookies… I just wish we ordered with him in the first place because he looked like he knew what he was doing. He made the tea quickly and brought it to us, and he was sweet. They definitely need to change the person taking the order because the girl was oblivious.

If I hadn’t gone to Giant, I’d have no idea this place was here. I’ve heard about this place, but haven’t gotten to try it yet. Stopped by this place after lunch, and so glad I did! Got the Mocha Crème cake and it was really good! The milk tea latte was very well made! Better than the milk teas I’ve had at some of the other Korean bakeries in the area. Nice place to study as well! Not crowded and a variety of seating options(table, bar, comfy chairs). Service was awesome too! The owner was very nice, asked if we needed help, and brought my cake to me even though we had pagers. Can’t wait to try the other pastries! They have a lot of different ones from Shilla and Manoa.

Macarons are expensive, but worth ever bite. I tried their pistachio, lavender blueberry and chocolate macarons. They are listed from my most favorite to my least favorite. I really loved the pistachio macaron. It had a real pistachio nut flavor and the cream inside was moist and creamy. The lavender blueberry followed right after. It had a subtle lavender and blueberry taste. The cream for this macaron was much more moist than the pistachio. It was perfectly sweet, crunchy and chewy. The chocolate was my least favorite. It had a chocolate mousse filling inside. I usually love mousse, but I didn’t think it went well with the macaron. They had a cute pb&j macaron that I will try next time! I also tried their croissants. I got the strawberry and chocolate croissant, but I was kind of disappointed in them. They didn’t satisfy my sweet tooth. I was imagining the croissants to be sweet and decadent, but they weren’t. They would have probably have been good if I wasn’t in the mood for something sweet. They also have drinks to eat with your dessert. Loved their black milk tea! They even have unsweetened ice teas… If you want to feel a little better about consuming all that sugar… Haha:)

I don’t know why we(Koreans) have created so many faux-French bakeries… because Korea definitely ain’t Paris. But gosh darnit, we love them. Recommendation: Red Bean Bingsoo, with vanilla ice cream added on top. I asked the cashier for a recommendation on the best bingsoo. She liked the classic red bean bingsoo, but with the addition of ice cream($ 1 more). It was great and I highly recommend it to you too. No artificial sweeteners, just simple: shaved ice thoroughly soaked with condensed milk, plentiful red bean, mochi pieces, Korean mitsu-garu powder, and vanilla ice cream. The entire dish is sweet but not overly sweet. It makes for a great summer option to share with friends. Korean mitsu-garu tastes like a cross between cereal dust and wheat. While that may not sound flattering, it tastes better than it sounds and is a well-known ingredient for Korean desserts. I would give TLJ five stars if the prices were a little more reasonable. TLJ is on the pricey side compared to its competitors, but I’d still prefer to come here over Shilla and Breeze.

I have yet to try their pastries/coffee/smoothies so my view might change if that happens… However, as far as their bingsoo goes(shaved ice/snow), I was not impressed. I paid $ 9 for a 12 oz. container of green tea, shaved ice, mochi, and fruits– although tasty sounding, it just fell completely short of my expectations. The ice had a nice texture and the red bean topping was generous and tasty, but everything else about my order was a miss. The green tea ice cream was OK, I wish it had a more distinct and prominent flavor and it was melting fast right when I got it. The random fruit topping and mochi rice cakes were limited and the rest of the container was just ice. The ice did have milky flavor to it which was nice. They have a variety of pastries, plenty of comfortable seating, and other offerings which I may or may not return to try. I feel you can find great pastries, smoothies, and ice cream/shaved ice all in one place at other bakeries in the area.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Best Korean bakery I’ve EVER been to. Seriously, their pastries are AMAZING, their décor is on point, and service is fab. Make sure to try their Soboro Cream Bread, Butter & Honey Rusk, Milk Soft, and Red Bean Pastry. They’ll melt in your MOUTH! …yeah, you’re welcome in advance…

Beautiful open space? Check. Lots of seating? Check. Friendly cashiers? Check. And, oh yeah, delicious sweet treats? Checkity-check-check! I am officially a huge fan of Tous Le Jours. Your friendly neighborhood Unilocaltern Jessica M brought me here after a thoroughly meatsweat-inducing dinner at Honeypig right across the street. Tous Le Jours is similar to other Korean bakeries like Shilla and Breeze in types of food available(bingsoo, baked goods, boba), but I gotta say, the quality and general atomsphere of the place blows both of those places out of the water for me. We got the taro snow bingsoo, which came with green tea mochi and the BESTREDBEANPASTEEVER. Four of us shared one, and it was the perfect amount. I also got a few pastries to take home and share with my fiancée the next day. The fruit tart was delicious, as was the red bean donut. I couldn’t tell you about the croissant though, because my dog ate it before I could get a chance. I’m going to guess by the shredded remains of the bag that it was in, however, that it was very tasty. The place definitely has a «come and hang out» atmosphere, with low, comfortable seating, and a spacious interior. I can’t wait to go back to Tous Les Jours to settle in with my computer or a book, and dig into some more tasty treats!

I love this place! I would have NEVER know this was here… hidden in the back of a parking lot… with a lot of other things around it. But I am so glad I stopped in! The ambiance was great! Not too noisy. Good amount of tables. Cozy feeling. There’s a lot a room in the back for group. Very nice. The food. The pastries. The mochi. The everything! Everything I tried was amazing. Had the blueberry cream cheese pastry. Just the right amount of flakiness. Right amount of filling. Perfection. I had the single mochi near the register. It had a purple flower on top. Red bean filling. Just soft enough. Just the right amount of chew… :) I also had the honey bun — filled with honey and like a mochi type filling — maybe they call it sweet rice flour filling? OMG. I loved it. the filling is the best. Loved the pastry part too. The milk tea latte was also good. Sweet but not too sweet… since really you’re probably eating a pastry to go with it… :) I will be back! I must try more items!

There are many Korean bakeries in Annandale but this one I visiting on a regular basis. Other places I go to such as Breeze is often very crowded and near impossible to find a parking spot. Tous les jours does not have those complications and has only been opened for a short period. Perhaps not a lot of people know about it hence why it is less crowded. Being located across from To Sok Jip the parking lot is not the most spacious but you can park further away in the large parking lot. Upon entering I really liked the atmosphere of this place. It has a lot of seating and is spaced out really nice, unlike other crowded Korean bakeries. I ordered a Citron tea and a strawberry pastry. You can’t really mess up Citron tea so that was good, the strawberry pastry was a bit on the dry side. I probably won’t be getting it again. What sold me here is the environment, it is large, bright, and peaceful. It is not quiet to the point where you would confuse it for a library, there are also a good amount of people in it, it is just not obnoxiously loud. I would be able to spend many hours here. If I ever want to go to a place to catch up with friends or do work I would not hesitate to come back here. I just hope it will be able to remain this way and not turn into a loud and crazy environment.
