Tribble Painting Company

Professional in every sense of the word. We had them paint our kitchen cabinets and they look great. We would use Tribble again in a heartbeat.

Tribble Painting has done a tremendous job for us on multible occassions. They are more than fair on pricing and the part that really sets them apart is that they show up when they say and do an amazingly high quality job. In today’s world of contractors with no accountability, it is nice to have a real professional organization like Tribble.

Todd Tribble came out to give us a quote for painting the exterior of our house. He told us that we really need to reside our house since he felt it would only last for 5 – 8 years before it was going to fall apart. We had the Georgia Pacific wood composite siding that is subject to swelling when exposed to water. Todd showed us where it is beginning to swell. He said that he would paint if we wanted to and it might last 8 – 10 years but he advised against it. We got 3 other quotes (all higher than Tribble) and none of the other contractors ever mentioned that we needed new siding. While I am not happy that we have to spend the money to reside, I am very impressed with a company that puts it’s own self interest aside and recommends an action that will cause them to lose a job. We will definitely be calling Todd the next time we need painting.

This is a hard call. Tribble painted the outside of my house in Ann Arbor which is their core business. They provided a prompt estimate, good not great pricing, came as scheduled, were polite and did a good job. The owner is a very experienced, qualified business person. Tribble’s job reflected the values he projected. My wife was home and managed the process. She felt happy with the Company and the job they did.
The issue is when Tribble painted our other rooms and deck. In the case of the deck, they followed the same process — all good — and totally botched the preparation work. We currently have massive peeling after one winter. Tribble somehow blamed it on us because paint always has this problem. My wife and i scratched our head at this. We probably would have done anything that Tribble recommended.
Calling Tribble with a problem is a customer service nightmare. The staff of the Company seems to avoid putting you in contact with the head guy. This is sad. He deserves bettter and his customers do to.
We are now getting bids from other companies to do out indoor painting as a result.
