Over-intrusive, condescending salesman. You either follow his method of moving through the store, or you are out of line. We didnt follow his strict instructions, which he pointed out to us twice. Once wasn’t enough. It was as if we had failed him, being the wayward children we were. The thing is, his approach didnt make sense to us for our needs — he had us comparing apples to oranges, assuming what we were looking for rather than just asking us and adapting to our needs. A good salesperson certainly has a method, but he or she also accommodates that method to the customers needs and methods — especially in this day and age in which a great deal of information is available beforehand. After that bad experience we went to Van Winkle and had the opposite experience, and bought a mattress from them. They are highly recommended, Mattress World is not.

In small print at the end of a paragraph it is explained that they do not offer a comfort exchange. So buyer be ware that if you open the packaging, you bought it. Look elsewhere and buy from a company that values their customers.

The service here is great. I bought my new mattress here this year. It has made my sleep much better. Firm and extra support. There is only one sales guy here and he is really patient and helpful. I brought my granny here and he let her try every bed out and was very accommodating. What I really want here is a Tempurpedic bed. So comfortable. They are super expensive. Laying on it feels like a cloud. They deliver here and will take away your old mattress. (I just discovered this is also a chain, but you know what, the service sure as hell doesn’t feel like that. It’s very good.)
