I don’t usually go for the Indian dish at places in US because it almost never lives up to what I am used to from India and will also generally avoid Indian restaurants if I have a choice. However, for some reason I was extremely tempted to try the Dabeli from here because coming from a food truck, it somewhat reminded me of the roadside food that I love back home. I was not in the least bit disappointed with it. It tasted almost like the one my aunt makes back home(which since none of you would have had it is really good). It had the perfect blend of flavour and spices that allowed for a slight kick of spice while still allowing the taste buds to savour all of the flavour. My friend got the grilled mac n cheese and we both had one piece of each of the sandwiches and were both disappointed by his sandwich as it was nothing but a glorified grilled cheese sandwich with nothing really special about it. The portion size for each was kind of small and left the both of us still wanting more. Unfortunately they had closed by the time we finished the first round so we went elsewhere for desserts instead.
