Even though I don’t love bagels, some of their sandwiches are good enough to convert non believers. I say some not all because the plain bagels and egg sandwiches are average. Try their specialty sandwiches instead: the southwest sunrise and smoked salmon are both quite tasty. If you’re looking to be healthier, they do have salads! Decent deli salad and comes(of course) with bagel bites. Music is on the louder side for these types of places.(Think Espresso Royale volume vs Noodles) The playlist is upbeat but could see how it could be distracting if you want quiet. Head up to the second floor for a nice study spot overlooking N University/State :)

5 for food 3 for Atmosphere 1 for how rude the line prep guy Craig, was. My friend told me about this place and i love the food its perfect for breakfast in the mornings in A2 when your busy working because they are fast and delicious. But while the gentleman make my food i would appreciate if the Employees wouldn’t comment on their costumers before their own eyes. the comment was rude and none of your business to even speak on. Thanks for the embarrassment in front of other customers and your fellow employees. i will take my business next door to Penera Bread until you are replaced. Have some integrity next time, please.

Breugger’s get my business regularly. I always order the Salmon Bagel(smoked salmon), very yummy. It’ comes to $ 7.something. I tried to save some money once and ordered one of the egg bagels and was not impressed. Tried the coffee once, was not impressed and it was too expensive. Sometimes the music is too loud.

This is my favorite place to get bagels. Bruegger’s bagels just taste better than any other place I have gotten bagels before. The staff here and friendly and fast too :)

This is my all time favorite bagel place. I grew up in MN where they are plentiful, but during the year I live on the west coast where there are none :(So when I’m in Ann Arbor for the summer I always go a lot. probably too much. Can one survive on an all cream cheese diet? A whole wheat bagel counts as a vegetable right? The bagels are in fact top notch, my favorites in order are –everything –asiago –sun-dried tomato –plain The other ones are pretty good as well, but I’m not ordering them on a regular basis. The cream cheese is really what sets Bruegger’s apart. Whipped cream cheese? That’s a scam to sell you air. Bruegger’s cream cheese is one of the denser elements on the periodic table(BrU) and just picking up a tub of it you have two thoughts «Damn this is heavy… what am I going to put on my 2nd bagel?» The answer With Everything– plain cream cheese. The bagel already has everything, no need to complicate it. Asiago– Also plain Sun Dried Tomato– garlic and herbs. Its an Italian bagel after all so don’t argue with it and don’t leave out the garlic Plain– This one leaves me, like Natalie Imbruglia, torn. Plain on plain is like the consume of bagels– its so simple you need to be an expert to appreciate it. But I also like a flavored smear like part plain part strawberry. The options are limitless. Except for no veggie– that is a limit. This isn’t Vietnam, there are rules. Bagel sandwiches– These are great and you can go ahead and order one if you have no friends. Otherwise stick to cream cheese. Coffe– I’m sure they sell this though I’ve never ordered it cause milk and a bagel go together like peanut butter and jelly… but only on bread, never on a bagel… cause cream cheese.

I come for two things: coffee when I run out at home, and a bagel with lox if I’m REALLY craving one on my way to class or work. Neither are particularly awesome, but service is quick and the prices are very fair. Sometimes they throw in a flavored coffee like maple, pumpkin, etc. I’m not hugely into these, but options are always nice. I feel bad about giving it a lower rating, because the employees at most of the locations are phenomenal. Really friendly and funny. They don’t make up for the fact that the food and drinks are far from special, though.

You know what you’re getting yourself into from the second you enter. The place is as unpretentious as they come, and the food ranges from decent to actually quite good. I’ve never had anything short of attentive, zippy service at the counter. Pro-tip: the lox bagel is cheaper and tastier than at Amer’s by a long shot. Skip Panera and go to Bruegger’s.

I went to Bruegger’s this morning with a group of people, and it is a great place to meet and chat. Up stairs they have a long table, which is great for groups. However, despite the great customer service and atmosphere; the bagels are just okay. I was a little disappointed with my bagel. In a way wish I had just gotten a bagel from Panera next door.

One of my favorites is their rosemary olive oil bagels, unique to Bruegger’s. I tend to buy bagels in bulk and they offer pre-bagged day-old bagels at the rate of six for ~$ 3.50, but I wish they put an assortment of flavors in those packages. I have always found seating on the ground level, though I like that their is additional seating is upstairs in a room with windows, as opposed to underground like other cafes.

Wifi abruptly cut out an hour before closing. Not sure if the staff(clearly anxious to leave, as they were mopping the floor around us) were trying to clear the place out early. Otherwise an adequate coffee and bagel shop. Free refills on coffee if you ask nicely.

I got the cheddar cheese and egg sandwich and the egg was not as warm as i would like but the bagel and cheese were amazing. The cream cheese wasnt that great. The ambiance and service were very nice. They had lots of choices which is perfect for a bagel place and its convenient: right on State and N University. But i didnt really like the bagel aspect… which is the point of a bagel place

I have only visited once, and I usually try to review things a few times before judging, but I’m not sure I plan on coming back. This place has basic bagels, nothing really special. I will say they have a fairly broad variety of cream cheeses and bagel types, so that was a plus, but nothing exotic. I got the cinnamon sugar bagel with honey nut cream cheese. For some reason the girl behind the counter kept saying they could not toast that kind(not sure why) so she put it in the microwave. Ew. They were also pretty slow(e.g the girl was chatting with her co-worker while I was waiting to get rung up) even though I was the only person in there. I also got a hot coco that was extremely bland and sugary, like you’d expect from a chain. For me it’s a strong skip, but if you’re a huge bagel lover you might give it a try.

I got a egg cheddar bagel breakfast sandwich early in the morning, and overall, it was a decent sandwich. I wish the cheese were a bit more melted, or the bagel a bit more toasted, but it was okay in a pinch. ’twas nothing fancy. Next time I think I’ll try some of that fancy cream cheese. I think I’d go here again, but I prefer Panera Bread.

I love Bruegger’s. I love their square bagels and their breakfast bagels with muenster cheese. While the prices are comparable to Panera next door, I always choose Bruegger’s. Their breakfast bagels are available til they close, which is great because eggs, bacon, and cheese on a bagel is always a good! Also, they have poppy seed bagels. And another also, Michael Phelps used to come here. It’s true. I saw him drive his BMW to this location for breakfast. If an Olympian eats here, then you know you should, too.

I am quite the fan of Bruegger’s Bagels and this location delivers on the quality bagels, cream cheese, and coffee you expect from this chain. The upstairs seating area is very comfortable and on the Sunday morning, I went in very quiet and clean. However, the staff seemed rattled by the line and made several mistakes on our order. Although they compensated by not charging us for the bagels they made incorrectly, I was still disappointed since I am used to much better service at the other locations I have visited.

I would not recommend coming here. It is not a great place for bagels. But it is the A-OK place for bagels in Ann Arbor. I have not found anything better. Zingermans bagels are always hard as rocks. I once dropped a bag of zingermans bagels on my foot and broke two bones in my toes.

Asiago cheese bagels are why I keep coming back. MMM. Their secret weapon is the coffee card(unlimited coffee/pop/tea for ~$ 10/month). If you work or have class nearby, it’s great for stopping in at weird hours when you need a pick-me-up jolt. It also gets you discounts on food. The coffee is pretty decent. Take your food upstairs; they have nice couches and tables with a sunny window overlooking campus. A hidden gem for studying and people-watching. Service is slow but the staff is friendly.

Pretty standard fare. The Western bagel on wheat I got here today tasted pretty good(for less than $ 5), and my bf really enjoyed his lox bagel – they were more generous with the lox than I thought they’d be, but the bagel was $ 7.41 or so. I would go back here for my next bagel craving. Every now and then, there are coupons in the mail for a free bagel with cream cheese!!! I haven’t gotten one in a while, but I can’t wait for the next one…

Alright. I know it’s a chain. I know it’s boring. I know it’s a place my mom would take me. HOWEVER, the one, small, lovely item that keeps me coming here is the: Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel w/Egg White I warn you, it’s addictive and may heavily alter your state of mind about what you’ve been missing your entire adult breakfast life. Wi-fi is okay. Location is superb.
