We had come from having a procedure at the hospital and were hungry for some breakfast at 12:30pm. We enjoy trying out diners/cafés that we have never gone to before. This place is very small, but I noticed that people would move to smaller tables if a larger party came in. The food is very delicious and fresh. It takes time and you will have to wait for your food. It is made when ordered and there is a sign that informs you of this. If you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. The service was excellent and drinks were served immediately. We will be returning!

Great food… Biscuits and gravy were awesome… I got the meat lover’s omelet… Fluffy… Ham, bacon and sausage… Hash browns were perfect… The Mrs. got the 2&2 — 2 bacon, 2 sausage and 2 eggs… Eggs over easy and cooked to order… Service was great… Enjoyed the convos with the owner… We will go there again when in town!!!

We just had a wonderful lunch at this café. It was recommended my locals and far exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh and homemade with some very unique tastes and ingredients. we can’t wait to come back and try some other things on the menu. Happy customers, that were very pleasantly surprised! A must if your passing thru angels camp!

We stopped here for a late breakfast on our way to play in the snow. The café is small but welcoming, and not too loud even with all the tables full. The kids shared an order of amazing buttermilk pancakes and the adults had hashbrowns with sautéed veggies, eggs, and sausage gravy on top. The food was very good. The food took a little while to come but totally reasonable when you get fresh made food. We will be back!

Really nice to have a good place to have breakfast and lunch in downtown Angels. Breakfast is good and solid. It’s hardy and satisfying and tastes homemade. What I would call Dude Food. Nice fresh baked goods. They have worked really hard to clean this place up. New décor and new floors. Check it out and you’ll be surprised. Jen and Kay are real, decent, honest and hardworking and worthy of our patronage.

Just had an awesome breakfast. Service was great friendly. Bent over backwards for us. The portions are huge. Biscuits and gravy to die for. Hash browns perfectly cooked. The bacon and eggs were great. Didn’t realize it had changed owners. But for sure they now have 3 new regulars!

This place has great food and a short walk away from home! I never tried it before the new owners as I had heard not so great reviews but I’m glad I finally did. I will be returning.

Chicken fried steak had an off kind of flavor… Yup, and I paid for it later in the evening. Friendly owners get an extra star, but I will not be returning due to mild food poisoning.

Best burger I have ever had, the bacon relish is delicious. I’m so happy to have found such an amazing spot. We will definitely come again and again.

We stopped in here for a late breakfast. The place is small but we found seating right away. I had the breakfast burrito and it was the best bacon breakfast burrito I have had for as long as I can remember, it was done perfect.

I am so glad Kay and Jen opened this place back up! The food is just plain olé YUMMY! Jen has a special touch with her own recipes that are worth the wait! Everything is cooked fresh so enjoy a drink and enjoy some good conversation with Kay while you wait.(not long!) The servings are always more than enough for the average person, they wouldn’t like it if you should go away hungry! Enjoy a hearty Breakfast or Lunch, you won’t regret it! Burgers are GOOD! Try the California Sandwich too! NO fryer so no French Fries but the Potato Salad and Mac Salad are home made! Prices are normal and worth it. They close at 2pm on weekdays and 3pm on Saturdays. They take Thursdays off so don’t show up cuz you’ll go hungry! Talking about this place and my mouth is watering for some of Jens Sausage Gravy! There is limited seating in this historic old restaurant but even though they fill up I’ve never had to wait. They are right next to the Angels Camp Movie theater so it’s easy to find. Trust me it’s a SOLIDFOUR(&½)STAR! ps. don’t forget they make their own deserts!

The place is a little old and run down, but they serve breakfast and lunch all day. The sandwiches are huge. We got the chuck wagon which was hash browns with ham, bacon, peppers, onions smothered in sausage gravy.

Great place for breakfast! We ate there on Sunday. I ordered the grilll chesse sandwich… the sourdough bread was fresh and the cheese melted to perfection! My boyfried ordered a half biscuits and gravy and the portion was huge. He said it tasted better than Grandma’s back in Missouri! Next time we are in town, Sue’s, is on the must do list!

Under new ownership and boy, what an improvement! In the past few weeks we noticed an improvement in the outside appearance of the café, especially the cool new window design. Very inviting! Also noticed how busy it had become, something we never saw when it was Sue’s. We had eaten there once and didn’t care for it, but the new owners have done a wonderful job! My husband brought home breakfast this morning from Angels Creek Café and it was delish! French toast cooked perfectly and Biscuits & Gravy that were very tasty, and more importantly, the biscuits were soft and fluffy. And the half order is huge! We will definitely be repeat customers as we are happy to see a new eating establishment downtown and especially one with consistent hours and great food. Can’t wait to try the lunch menu!

Under new management and not a good change. They do not have fast service. Burnt Breakfast Sandwich. No Linguisa.Cold coffee. I always try to support local business but I won’t be spending my money here. For 2 adults and 1 child it cost 38.00 for BREAKFAST!

Awsome food and even better staff! The new owners are working hard to provide the community with great home made breakfast and lunch and are very much succeeding. Great job and can’t wait to eat here more in the future!

Wish to God I could give this zero stars. The owner/proprietor needs to lay off the Meth and focus on her business because the food leaving this kitchen as well as the employees are a plague on the community.

Too bad I can’t give it zero stars. Now for my experience. We came here this morning(9÷28÷14) and the place was packed. Little did we know it was full because it takes forever to get your food. Our party of 3 got there about 10:15a and placed our orders by 10:30a, unfortunately we sat around and filled up on water and coffee for the next 45 minutes. The food showed up around 11:15a and nothing was hot, lukewarm at most. The biscuits and gravy were very disappointing, no flavor in the gravy, biscuits were a bit on the hard side(I’ve had better at Residence Inn). The hash browns were mushy, had the texture of preformed mash potatoes. My friends«home fries» were like Ore Ida potato chunks. Everything else was just as bad. Save your money and a huge amount of time, go to a fast food joint.
