Mike is the best — he is polite, honest, and only fixes what actually needs to be fixed. His prices are sometimes half the cost of what other shops want to charge me. His work is good, and he shows you the parts he takes out of your car. I am glad I found him, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! It’s nice, especially as a woman, to know someone at an auto shop isn’t trying to swindle me. Highly recommended! Cash or check only though — no cc.

The auto shop may not look neat, but the repair job is done the best. I used to go dealer for my Honda cars. The dealer place always looks neat and professional offer shuttle service to pick you up and drop you off for free. What you will find at Mike’s shop is honest opinion, skillful technician and good price. Mike is the shop owner; he is also the guy who fixed my cars. When you talk to Mike, he knows exactly what your car condition is and explain it to you.

Awesome service. He checked something out for me, because a light was on in my car but didn’t end up fixing it. Didn’t charge me one penny! That is amazing service! He has fixed other things for us and did a great job!

Honest, friendly and accessible. I drive a beater and rely on Mike to give it to me straight: what really needs to be fixed and why in terms that are easy to understand. Some crooked mechanics in Cambridge wanted to charge me almost $ 700 to pass inspection. Mike did the repair for $ 200 and got me on the road. Plus he’s cheerful and funny!
It’s a beautiful thing when a person is great at what they do and they seem to love doing it.

Agree with the other reviews, great place. I’m glad I did a search for mechanics, would never have found this place otherwise. My take: Mike is polite, honest, does good work and does it himself. From my experience, he is very reasonably priced and does only the work needed.
He’s ready for you when you bring the car in and is done when he said it would be for the amount agreed. He even did a test drive to make sure. What more can one ask?
Garage doesn’t have a cappuccino machine or cable TV but is short walk to downtown and the train station — which is far better way to spend your time in my humble opinion. It is a working garage after-​all:)

Mike is extremely reliable and honest. He works very quickly an puts in extra hours to get the job done sooner. Pricing is very fair. I highly recommend him for all basic car repairs.
