I love it here! Forget the lovely older people eating here for some reason people have to say something about that …the food and service and value are awesome!

Went on a Friday night, absolutely packed. After waiting for 30 – 40 minutes, we were brought to our table and ordered our food. The appetizer, fried calamari, was quite good and came with some tasty sauces. However, when we got our burgers, we weren’t very impressed; they were fairly bland, and the thin buns quickly turned into slop after being saturated with juices. Overall, things were okay, but I would expect better burgers from a steakhouse.

My boss gave us a gift certificate here and I’m soooo glad he did, because we wouldn’t have tried it otherwise. From start to finish it was an amazing experience. I got the teriyaki steak tips(some of the absolute best I’ve ever had), the lobster pie(HUGE lobster chunks), and the rice pilaf(delicious). My boyfriend got the tips and baked stuffed shrimp which were delicious as well. The bread they give you beforehand is great as well. We had great service which was awesome as well. Our server was honest and gave us some awesome recommendations. A lot of reviews mentioned the«older crowd» which is true, but who cares! They know where to get good food for a deal! Highly recommend!

Never been a big Grassfields fan. The service is okay but the food I ordered was a little on the bland and on the oily side. Older crowd while I was there. Just in general an average dining experience.

As we were going into the restaurant, we bumped into a couple of women coming out. We asked how it was and they exclaimed that it was wonderful. They are regulars and told us that this restaurant has been consistently great. Well, they are right. We loved it. The service was wonderful and so was the food. I had the lobster pie and teriyaki steak strips. It was so good. There was a lot of lobster in the pie. Our server did not recommend the crabmeat pie. We had a wonderful dinner and a great server. Would come back if we ever return to Andover.

This is my favorite lunch spot. I work nearby and love to stop here for takeout. They make amazing steak tips. I always get the surf and turf with teriyaki steak tips and scallops. I’ve never been disappointed, it’s my favorite meal. Reasonably priced and delicious! And their bread is amazing!

Wow. Talk about a breath of fresh air. Asked for the steak sauce however to my suprise I did not need it on petite ny strip. It was favor full. And filling and you can’t beat the price. My only complaint is the place is filled with a slightly older crowd. I would still recommend this place. If you are ever in andover mass.

Love this place. My husband and I always get a great meal and the pricing is extremely reasonable! It isn’t anything ‘fancy’ so not for a special night out but for a quick bite they are great. Never disappointed at the food or service(or drinks!) And I LOVE the rice!

I went here a long time ago when I used to work around the area. things have changed since then. It was surprisingly crowded for the middle of the day. I was meeting my former director here for lunch. Service was okay… I think the food in my opinion is too oily. We got seafood with mushrooms(I was on a huge seafood binge during my time here) which was good but too much cheese and cream sauce. I got the lobster pie which I was excited for but WAYTOOMUCHBUTTER and breadcrumbs. I just ate the lobster and left behind the oil that would clog my arteries. It’s like an Applebee’s but nicer…

Not sure how I managed to avoid this place while living nearby since 1993. Generally an unremarkable establishment but execute well on what they offer. Good value, decent quality, nice service, comfortable setting. A good neighborhood stop when looking for a simple american meal without any fanfare.

Grassfields was 4 stars on Unilocal so I had to try it. You can get here from 495 or through the back roads. It’s tucked into a little shopping center behind the McDonald’s. It turns out to be very much worth its four stars. I found a place to park and noticed this parking lot was very crowded, even for a Wednesday night. They sat me right away in the upper deck area, and everyone smiled and was friendly. I could see everyone in the place was happy to be there. The menu surprised me at how inexpensive everything was; the hard part was choosing which of the wonderful dinner choices I wanted. I was a little less hungry so I went with the filet with a simple baked potato and side salad. They asked me if I wanted bread, so I said yes and they brought me a huge loaf of fresh out of the oven sesame bread that was very good. My steak I ordered medium rare which normally means I get it medium. It was not only medium rare, but cooked to perfection where there was no raw part, it sliced like butter was was delicious. Salad and baked potato were perfect, and I wasn’t stuffed when I left. My only thought was that I would have loved to have taken a slice of apple pie back with me when I left, but that’s not on the menu. Maybe next time.

These guys are sharp. Enter the dinning room mid week at lunch and if you are under 70 you are now the youngest person in the room. On a Wednesday afternoon this place was packed. How do they do it? 1. Price, price, price. Give them a good deal and they will come. But it is not price alone. 2. Service is excellent. This must be a tough crowd because our waitress apologized for the slowness of our meal. The timing seemed fine to me but I guess she is used to a more demanding clientele. 3. Food is very good. They bring you a large loaf of hot bread which I would advise you go easy on it. Portions are generous but good. My steak tips were excellent as was their rice pilaf. 4. The atmosphere is comfortable, access is good and parking is plentiful. This was a perfect place to take my mother to lunch. Did I mention I was the youngest person in the room outside of the staff? Under 70… you are a kid here.

Ate at Grassfields tonight. Inexpensive with fair food. Issue is with cleanliness! Our waitress cleaned off our table with her bare hand! We watched another server vacuum around a table where people were eating! Health Officer take notice!

this place is rather interesting/amusing. I was probably the youngest customer by about 3 to 4 decades… but the food was above average and the service was great. I went with the house specialty — steak tips with mixed veggies. the burgers looked great as well. the prices here are fantastic, it’s like they haven’t updated prices in 20 years. so to recap, good food and great prices and just don’t expect too much ambiance & you’ll be fine.

JUSTAWFUL the management was a pregnant lady and was talking about our table and didn’t realize I was right behind her. Our food came out completely wrong our steaks came out bleeding asked for med well. Waitress was rude. NEVEREVER coming back again. Oh and don’t come here if you have kids apparently you are frowned upon for that!!! After I reviewed on here. The Manager did reach out to me her name was Debbie and she was so great she felt awful about this bad experience and she comped the whole meal and also went beyond and is sending out gift cards to give them another try. I am very pleased and happy with how they handled this, it shows they really care about their customers

My favorite place for drinks and dinner, you could never go wrong here food and price wise. I get the steak and shrimp. By far the best and service is always great.

Nice little place. Was in town for work and had stopped in for the planet fitness. After the gym was ready to eat saw this place and went for it. Hat the teriyaki beef tips and lobster pie. The lobster pie was very good. The winner here is the tips. Oh my god these damn things were freakin amazing. I will be coming back for sure.

If you are a foodie, this is not the place for you. Food was boring. Flavors were boring. I felt like I can get that type of food anywhere. Drinks on the other hand, was a different story. I’ve never seen a martini glass so big! Atmosphere was nice. The dinning area was beautiful. Staff was friendly.

This place is alright. The décor is very aged. The food isn’t bad, but also nothing I would rave about. The portions are huge, and I am always getting a to-go box. The price is reasonable, especially with the sizes/portions you are getting. I get the vermont goat cheese and spinach salad, sometimes the spinach is wilted and looks like its been sitting out for awhile. The chicken is definitely juicy and seasoned well! The chicken piccatta is good, and again, HUGE… Crabmeat pie is decadent, and tasty. The best part– the loaf of bread they give you in the beginning! I COULDLIVEOFFOFIT. So delicious, soft on the inside, crispy and buttery on the outside.
