I had an okay experience here. It took about ten minutes to get seated, even though the wait staff or hostess were not that busy. Also, the place is really small compared to the other Bertucci’s I have been in. Also, they dropped several dishes all over the floor in one night. This seemed unprofessional to me. Dropping one is an accident, but having it happen multiple times is not good. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, which was also okay. They put about a drop of tomato sauce on the dish. The meatballs were great though. The one bright spot was that I had an excellent waitress. I do not remember her name, unfortunately. She was very friendly and helpful. There is also not a lot of parking as well. I would suggest going somewhere else or a different Bertucci’s.

Drove down for two pizzas. Nothing complex, extra cheese, pizza. What we got had more air pockets then my spare tire, one or two even three aren’t a problem, but the pizza had more blemishes the a pubescent teenager after eating a pound of chocolate! Couldn’t find any cheese in the hill ridden terrane that even lacked sauce, mostly burnt dough on the top, yet they managed to undercook the bottom. Such talent should not be rewarded the $ 35 cost or effort. No quality control, no excuse. Order pizza from someone else this particular location isn’t worth the effort. A major disappointment for my family, who had expectations of a normal quality pizza, you get at well managed restaurants.

Standard fare. Pizza was fine and typical of the chain. Dinner service was horrible. No bread was served and dinner salad was forgotten. No sign of waitress until dinner was served and no compensation provided for glaring oversights. Won’t be back to this location.

If the food wasn’t so good and the second waitress so efficient, this would have been a different review. We were in town on business on a Sunday — went for a late lunch around 2 pm. It was slow — we went inside and there were a few scattered customers, we told the waitress we’d like to eat out on the patio, she said go ahead, she’d be right out. The patio had 2 tables with people finishing their meals, one table was piled with dishes from customers that had left and a waitress was in a conversation with friends at a table. She stayed in this conversation for almost 10 minutes, never acknowledging us at all. Bees and flies were swarming around the leftover plates so we decided to go inside as obviously her private conversation was more important than why she was there… which was to do her job. We went inside and Jenee the waitress, surmised quickly that the bugs were too much, I said yes, that TOO. She apologized for not coming outside as she said she would. I reminded her that there was another waitress out there and she was in deep conversation with her friends. Jenee was the only waitress inside. She quickly made up for the other ones lack of professionalism. It was obvious she was very efficient, friendly and a seasoned professional. Our meals were very good. The spaghetti with meatballs in bolognese sauce were outstanding — brick roasted meatballs were light and very flavorful and the sauce was robust with tomato. The Tuscan Minestrone soup had nice dimension and icy cold, crisp salad was refreshing. The manager also stopped by to ask about our meals and we had a nice back and forth exchange about who’s meatballs were better — mom’s or theirs :-) I sincerely hope they are able to train that young woman or get rid of her and I’ve never said this as I know how difficult waitressing can be from past experience. I also mentioned to Jenee that the ladies room had no paper towels and was almost out of toilet paper. The poor girl said she’d make sure it got taken care of… while the manager was on the phone. They need to tighten up the ship and not have it all fall on one person’s shoulders. I looked up on Trip Advisor to see what restaurants were open that day at that time, the ones with high ratings unfortunately were closed… I forgot we aren’t in the Boston area. We hadn’t been to a Bertucci’s in a long time, so we thought we’d give it a try.

Ordered take out last night –1 large Margherita pizza and spinach /artichoke dip. When we got home pizza was undercooked, not cut and missing basil, THE key ingredient in the pizza. Instead of getting spinach dip we received a chicken tortellini, not good for a vegetarian. When we called the girl on the phone she said that we received the correct item as they«always» put chicken in the spinach/artichoke dip. Called back and spoke to manager who said we could come and pick up basil and they would give us the dip we ordered if we still wanted. Restaurant was not even that busy. Last time I go there to pay for overpriced, incorrect and crappy food.

pizza is always under-done. We always end up waiting past our pick-up time for a pick up. Pizza was so under-done the cheese was barley melted. Id stick with going to north andover’s.

We went to this Bertucci’s on a Wednesday at 5:30. Not busy. Very slow service from an exceptionally friendly and completely untrained waitress who couldn’t answer any questions about the menu at all. The soggy, slimy buffalo wings seemed steamed(not baked or fried) and were served cold — hard not to gag on them. The risotto is made with minute rice — i kid you not. Minute rice. This, too was cold. The serving size was tiny and I would describe it as rice floating in cold broth with chunks of overcooked lobster and a few veggies. Nobody came to see how the food was. It was hard to even get the bill delivered. Awful. We will never go back.

Service was horrible but the food was good. Dined in with the family. Got there around 5:30 on a Sunday and had to wait about 10 minutes to even have someone seat us(actually to even talk to us… they were too busy taking phone orders). My son has food allergies so we always mention that first. The waiter said he would mention it to the manager but still took our order. Got the food and had to ask the waiter again if it was all set. He confirmed but didn’t make it sound like he cared. Usually managers come over to assure us of the food allergies. Slow service and he barely spoke to us. Just dropped of the food without saying a thing. Noticed he was the same on the tables around us.

Always a bad experience with help food so so. The worst was going in to dine and being seated right outside the kitchen door. After asking to be moved our server should not have been waiting tables. She was rude not careing about her customers. As if not bad enough only half our food came. When brought to her attention she made a sound that floored me. Now if that wasn’t enough my wife heard. 2 other tables complaining. Oh being seated out side kitchen door their were only 2 other tables seated.

You can do a lot worse than Bertucci’s when it comes to chain Italian restaurants.(*ahemoilvegardenahem*) This Bertucci’s is nice — very small but they offer all the same fare and service any other would provide. If they are too busy for you there is a larger Bertucci’s about 1.5 miles away in North Andover. Always tasty pizza; fresh, well-made dishes and organized service. The menu changes frequently(as in quarterly) which is a double edged sword if you see your favorites disappear or get changed somehow but often the alternative choices are just as good(if not better as in our recent Piccata experience). I had a terrific experience there last evening; our server Peter Y was terrific. Witty, entertaining, and very into doing a great job. Bertucci’s is very consistent; we get pizza when we go there because that is what they are good at making.

Well, what can I say really? It’s a pizza place. They didn’t screw up the pizza because that’s pretty hard to do but it was unremarkable. The salad options were all not so good. The leaves were kind of wilting and gross. As far as this type of fare goes I would say this place is pretty overpriced. Believe it or not, there are good restaurants in this town so I would suggest you look elsewhere.

A good enough, decent family style, dine in pizza and Italian meal place. Good if you in big groups. My experience here isnt bad, not at all. First time ordered their lobster raviolli and guess what, the chef had forgot to put lobster on the ravioli. haha. how the hell can you forget that, but I aint to fussy about service, so I overlooked their inattentiveness when the server came on after 3 minutes with a bowl of lobster meat. It tasted good. Second time was the experience of pizza. It was good. Brick oven and freshly baked. Pretty good. I wouldnt go to this place if I had to have a pizza just by myself. Its good but not worth to drive, sit, eat, tip and come back out. Prefer a phone-pay-pick-sit on couch of my apartment and eat kind of pizza place.

Very happy with the service and the food quality here. Very easy to order online and go pick it up. Waitstaff and cashier have always been friendly and they always offer extra rolls when our office orders. I’m a huge fan!

Gave them another try last week and they’ve redeemed themselves. Service was great at lunch, had a terrific Mushroom/Asiago individual pizza on the new multigrain crust. The pizza was one of the best I’ve had, rolls were piping hot, salad and hubby’s sandwich were delivered in lighting time. Hope it wasn’t a fluke! We’ll be back!

My experience at this bertuccis location was very interesting. My sister and I sat down and our waiter came over immediately and took our orders then brought us rolls. She was very nice and sweet therefore I left her a nice tip. after all waitresses make all their money off tips. As we dug into our rolls we realized, AFTER we placed our order, how stale and over cooked they were. I told my sister I think we should leave and she declined to saying how we already placed our order. I ordered the chicken Parma and Caesar salad as she ordered the 4 cheese ravioli. We ordered our food at 3:45. I did not get my salad until 4:17. On waiting for my salad to arrive we asked for a second round of rolls but asked if they were fresh. We were told they just came out. When we got the rolls I realized they indeed just came out… The microwave that is. The stale microwaved rolls shouldn’t have been used with the word fresh to describe them. Thank god they were free. Shortly after Getting the second round of rolls I finally received my salad. Which was good since you can’t exactly fuck up romaine mixed with Caesar dressing. 20 minutes after receiving my salad we finally got our entrees. Mind you the place was not exactly busy at all. There were only 3 other tables occupied. As soon as I got my chicken Parma I dug right into realizing how good it looked… Then unfortunately realized that the spaghetti was cold and the chicken was only warm and tasted microwaved. The cheese on top of the chicken wasn’t even fully melted. My sisters ravioli was more oil than tomato paste. Although the raviolis were comparable to most frozen super market brands. And the oil acted as a laxative since after she consumed her meal she had to take a shit immediately. I suggest you go here if you have some dietary complications and are looking for a natural laxative that works fairly quick.

We had the worst waiter ever when we ate here. He forgot to bring my water; he only asked my brother if he wanted soup or salad with his meal and ignored the other four people in the party; we had to ask for the bread specifically and then he never brought the oil my son requested; he took about a half hour to bring our drinks; he brought the salads only because we asked for them after the entrees came, and then he brought another one to the table next to us, whom he had clearly forgotten as well, because they had finished their meal; and at the end of the meal, when I asked my son if he wanted to go for ice cream, he suddenly remembered that he could bring a Hoodsie cup, which is meant to come with the meal, not after you have paid the bill. The food was fine. The only way his service could have been worse was if he had been rude, which he wasn’t, thankfully.

Really, are there no Unilocalers that go to Merrimack college?! !? 1 review, 2 and a half years ago, 3 words long, and another 16 words long that got filtered… Not to mention the 3 word review is an effin ‘elite’ just more reinforcement what a crock ‘yelp elite’s’ are… Okay, rant over, to the review. Loud, small, drafty, crowed. And all of these are both good and bad qualities. It’s a small, 15 table maybe 65 people restaurant. The dinning room and Kitchen are only separated by a tall(5 feet) counter. There’s a high ceiling, and it was a cold night and my wife and I were close to the door. Not next too, but close enough to know that the 2 doors are not keeping all the cold air out. The servers were always turning sideways to walk around each other, customers too when being seated or going to the restroom. But this is a popular spot that’s for sure, and do a high volume of take out as well. The food is good standard Bertucci’s food, my wife and I split an roasted artichoke fondue, I didn’t care for it, not because it was cold or anything but apparently I don’t like artichokes… my list is now up to 14 things in the world I do not like. I got the chicken picatta, a few too many cappers for me, 1 is too many for my wife, but great flavor over all. Why 3⁄5 on street parking, too cold, too loud, but the view of the oven fire was great and made everything seem warmer. I don’t think I’ll be back if I ever head to the Andover area again, instead we’ll try the other Bertucci’s in the area.
