My family and I have been eating here off and on since 2008. Good food and they give you a lot for your money, sometimes a little salty, prices are good, good service. They are just like all restaurants, they have their good days and they have their bad days. We will keep coming back.

We have been going there since they were on Lake Boulevard in Redding. Always good. It’s pretty much your run of the mill Chinese food, but they do it well and the prices are good. We like to go there for lunch. It is really cheap and we get enough food that we can take half of it home and still have dinner. I have not tried anything on the menu that I didn’t like. Consistently good food.

Found this place by chance. Clean, large, nice, helpful people. Best chop suey that i have had in yrs. Good lighting and clean tables with comfortable seating. Very pleasant décor and colors. The workers were«Johnny on the spot » great service. I will be coming back again even though I live 4 hrs away. all the food was great. the koi pond was cool. we also got a good deal at hotel 6 which was 5o paces away. we b happy.

best taste and flavor in this area. Would highly recommend over any other businesses. Price is a little high but very doable. Really dig the chop suey and beef and broccoli.

The food here is good but inconsistent a lot of salt and the meat is always changing it seems cut differently seasoned differently you never really know what flavor you are going to get but it is almost always good the rice is also never the same but usually good The service is the same inconsistent wait staff could use some training The atmosphere is nice for a family dinner or a group of friends and there is a beautiful koi pond out front that is really nice to sit and watch after your meal.

This is the best Chinese one can get in shasta county, if not the whole north state(that and golden dragon up in burney). Their hot and sour soup is so bloody good!!!

Ugh. what a disappointment. There was just enough good reviews that I took the chance. Any Chinese place that serves those fat lo mien noodles for pan fried soft noodle should just close up shop… I overheard someone being told the cook has been in the kitchen for 30 years! Wow poor guy, he should get out more. Special chow mien looked awful lacked flavor. Pot stickers looked amazing! Had Zero flavor… how is that possible? Beef with snow peas… tasted ok… but why the heck add carrots and shoots??? I wanted pea pods ! Serving staff was very friendly, tea was good, restaurant was clean

Not the best Chinese I’ve had, but absolutely the best in the county! Their sweet and sour pork is my favorite from any restaurant and their broccoli beef is definitely up there.(We always get takeout so I can’t speak to table service.)

Some restaurants stand to please their guests with excellent service and even better food. Others leave you wishing you had picked up a Big Mac and fries, even though you’re a full-fledged vegetarian. This place is reminiscent of the latter. If you’d like to experience a server slamming each persons plates of food down on the table in ten minute intervals without even a shred of traditional customer service courteousy, and if you would like to bite into this food to not even meet the lowest of expectations, leaving you hungry and dissatisfied with an awful taste in your mouth, do not hesitate to visit. If you would like an experience and meal that is worth what you pay for, go to the Taco Bell across the street and leave a $ 20 tip. 1 star for the soup, which was right on par with average.

I ate lunch here and was disappointed in the quality of the food. The excellent Unilocal reviews had led me to expect something better. The chicken in the moo goo gai pan was colorless and tasteless. The predominant veggie was white bok choi stalks. The sweet and sour pork was decent. The fried rice was mediocre. On a positive note, this restaurant has a lot of combination meals for reasonable prices($ 7-$ 9) at lunch time. The service was quick and friendly. The tea and soup were good. The seating area is lined with large windows, and the roof has a wide overhang, which keeps the sun from shining directly on the tables. It was a pleasant place to spend an hour reading.

My Hubby ordered a #1. Chicken Chow Mein, Fried BBQ Pork Rice, Sweet & Sour Pork, Pork Egg Roll w/Wonton Soup — Loved it. I had Spicy Tofu w/Vegetables, White Rice, Pork Egg Roll w/Wonton Soup — Very Good Flavor in the sauce! We were seated right away(lunchtime), the waitress was quick, pleasant & efficient and the food came fast! 2nd visit: On our return visit today, food was Soaked In Sauce & Soggy so had to change the rating from 5 star to 2 star. 2 stars because, although the food wasn’t good today, the waitstaff were still prompt & friendly. Hope they get the other Chef back for the people still eating here because we probably won’t return! Sorry but people need to be warned.

Decent Chinese food for road trippin’. We ordered the Canton dinner service for 3. It includes: Wonton soup Egg rolls — fried to perfection Almond chicken — too much celery Beef and broccoli — broccoli needed to be cooked longer Chicken chow mein — oily Sweet and sour pork — really good sweet flavor, thick sauce Bbq pork fried rice — not enough pork Everything came out hot, fast and with good service. Would definitely come back. Large portions, good service and decent food — way to go Anderson.
