La Casa Cuevas Mexican Food

My table was served a rotten lemon slice with one of the waters, there was a hair on an order of rice, and the mahi tacos were overcooked and dry. The service was prompt and attentive but unfortunately I won’t be returning.

Sat for 25 mins waiting to have our order taken. We got up & walked out as the waiter said to have a nice day & thank you for coming. really!!!
I can’t believe that they actually charge you for xtra chips & salsa with service like that!!!

The flavor was pretty descent as I ordered chicken fajitas… However, only a few small pieces of bell pepper, a lot of onion and a smaller portion of chicken. The real kicker is that one order of chicken fajitas was $ 17.49, pre tax. I obviously missed the price when ordering. However, I did pay the ticket but that much money usually gets fajitas for TWO at most places.

Let me start off by saying the time before this I went there with my sister it was absolutely excellent. Whole experience! Food, drinks, and staff. This last time we went was very disappointing. A couple of the ladies were very rude and snotty. People who came in after us got their food before, and the wait time was horrible! After the long wait to order and get our food, they had sadly brought me the wrong thing. So I sent it back, and again, the wrong thing. The ladies made this it even worse because I felt like I was just a burden! I am a paying customer and I deserve to be treated like it even if I have to send back my food because THEY messed up on it. My sister was horrified by the way we were treated. She asked for the manager, after they blamed the cook, found out later it was the manager, and Carlos, the waiter from the time before, walked out. He made us feel better and he gave us shots of patron and patron margaritas on the house. He is the only reason I’d be back there. Food is very good though!

My family and I came in for dinner and got the fajita sampler plater and it came out amazing as it alway!!! The staff are really great and fun!!! Margaritas are on hit!

Every time I visit this place it’s always good. Good size portions of food, cooked how I want it, and the service is good.

It’s really cool that they serve hot refried beans with the chips and salsa. The Arroz con pollo is tasty and carnitas tacos were good.
Don’t order enchiladas. They are made with the same tiny corn tortillas that street tacos are made of, they are tiny and flat, but they bury them in a mountain of lettuce and sour cream (perhaps hoping you do not dig down and realize the actual size?)
I have never had a chef or cook come out with such an attitude and defensive over my sending that plate back. I’m sorry, having cooked Mexican Food for over 25 years does not make the enchiladas any more reasonably sized.

Great service and the food was really good. I had the Maui tacos and Margarita. The chips salsa and beans were endless. Thanks for a good spot to eat as we travel north.

Some of the other reviews piqued my interest and at 8pm I wasn’t looking at many other options.
Salsa — not so good
Chips — a bit stale
Shrimp Burrito — pretty amazing. However the beans and salad served with it wasn’t Bueno as they could have been.
The place was decorated Ike a Mexican restaurant and the service was great!

Good food, clean nice place & music was not excessively loud. Servers were attentive and friendly. Dig it:)

La comida esta muy lejos de ser comida mexicana, los platillos muy mal elaborados las tostadas nada que ver el menú decía con crema y aguacate y no la tenía pedí la crema y me la cobraron el mesero es un rudo y le ponen cheddar a todo nunca más regresare lo peor es el sevisio muy mal
