Horrible. Would give zero stars. Food is greasy and overpriced. Appreciate that it is fresh, but it is disgusting. I ordered $ 50 worth of food, and I found 3DEADFLIES in my order of French fries. I almost puked. I feel like when ordering food that expensive it should come WITHOUTDEADBUGS.

Was pleasantly surprised when I ate here for the first time. Only went because a group of friends was going. I had always avoided this place assuming it would be nasty but it was actually really good! All of it, my burger, cheese fries & the taste of peanut butter milkshake that I had were all good! Lacking in decent help for sure & being able to keep up with orders for a group but yummy food!

This place has the best bacon cheese burger. I could eat here 3 days a week. It’s always good and clean there.

The burgers are great, and the fries are hand cut and definitely taste home made. They are a great change from your regular burger place. The service can be pretty slow at times, but we don’t really mind. Last time we were there I ordered the hot wings, and I will not order them again. They were dried out and tough, almost as if they’d just been heated in the microwave and overdone in there. I’ll be sticking to burgers and fries from now on.

Best fast food burger in town even if it’s not super fast. The place is old fashioned but I don’t go to a fast food restaurant for the ambiance. I go for a tasty meal.

Took over 30min to get our food when we were the only 2 in there. I went up front to ask about the food and the woman asked if there was anything else she could get me. And I hadn’t received my food. I’m under the impression that they forgot about our order. When we received our food they gave it to us as a to go order in a bag. we had ordered to eat in. The burger was flavorful, but way over cooked. To the point that the patty was chewy. This place used to be a favorite spot. Haven’t been impressed the last couple visits.

Slowest service I have received in anchorage for a simple burger. Took over 30 mins with no one in the place but us. Won’t be going back.

This place brings me back to being really young and visiting my town’s local burger joint. I think it was called Mr. Zips! Old School everything… all the time. Expect a wait because everything is being grilled up in back. The buns are awesome. Fries and o rings are done well. They have a drive thru, but I recommend a trip inside for the full experience.

After the fiasco of my salad lunch at Natural Pantry yesterday, I felt the need for a bacon cheeseburger to sate my suffering appetite. Wee B’s is located at the corner of O’Malley and Old Seward next to the AK Club(in case you regret coming here for a ½ lb. burger and a thick milkshake, plenty of treadmills are conveniently located next door). Wee B’s reminds me of the locally-owned burger places that were predominant in Anchorage back in the 80’s. The seating area has old-school style booths and tables with a couple of arcade games and a pinball machine to pass the time while you’re waiting for your order. This type of setting might not be for everyone, but I like places like this that bring back memories as a kid especially when you have Huey Lewis and The News playing on the radio. I decided to place an order for a ½ lb. double bacon cheeseburger and a side of onion rings to erase the bad memory of that pitiful salad I had yesterday. This time around, lunch was a lot better food-wise and money-wise. The burger was delicious with thick cut bacon and cooked at a perfect medium with melted cheese, diced onions, lettuce, and mayo. The onion rings were also superb with the batter crisp and not crumbly as well as the entire onion not slipping out of the batter like certain places that make it where you can’t even hold one without falling apart completely. All of this came up to a lot less than $ 15.00 for the salad I paid for yesterday. This certainly made up for the poor meal I had from the day before and Wee B’s has always been a reliable place for me to get a good burger. They also serve burgers made out of buffalo or elk if you want to try something off the beaten path for a change. The buffalo burger I had was delicious on a previous visit, very similar to the ones they serve at the AK State Fair next to the midway. In addition to the burgers, they also serve rotisserie chicken and fish sandwiches, hot or BBQ chicken wings, chili cheese nachos, and milkshakes with a choice of flavors like butterscotch, blackberry, raspberry, pineapple, caramel, chocolate, and vanilla. I’m glad to see this place still going strong after all these years and I still see the owner, who has been there since day one many years ago, behind the counter from time to time greeting everyone who walks in.

The burgers here are pretty good. The décor and ambiance however is straight out of 1984. This can be good in some cases, but here it just feels old, tired and worn out. Both times I’ve been here the bathrooms have been filthy with the trash cans overflowing. For the prices charged I think they really need to spruce this place up and modernize a bit.

I went there yesterday and got a deluxe bacon cheeseburger and it was great my bf got the same with a strawberry milkshake and it was super awesome the burger was wrapped and I’m glad it was otherwise I would have gotten the sauce and lettuce all over myself but it’s well worth the money we payed and I love that they have a few arcade machines in the place I think it’s a comfy place like still great food mixed with comfy dining rather then some stuck up places.

One of my favorite places in Anchorage. Better quality than your run of the mill McDonald’s, Burger King etc… Their burgers are awesome. A homemade/handmade quality. Staff have been friendly and the owner is a longtime Alaskan business owner who has always been very active in his business’. They have cool ice cream options too! I only wish they were down on the Kenai peninsula too! :-)

I consider myself a burger expert and this is a good burger in Anchorage. Nice and messy like a burger should be. Juicy and perfect. Didn’t try fries this time, but I did get a chocolate shake. The shake honestly left some to be desired. I’ll try another one another time. It was plain chocolate and I could just taste the hersheys syrup. It is nice to go inside, the staff is friendly and nice relaxing old time atmosphere.

We have been here since 2007 and I am very sad that we have never been here until today. Food is wonderful and the employees were awesome. The fresh baked bread smell that hits you in the face as you walk in nearly brought me to my knees. We will be returning.

This was my second time here. And while this place has the over all appearance of a old-school, super dive burger joint thing going on on the outside. I was pleasantly surprised upon entering inside. It was fairly clean and well maintained even though the décor and menu boards were a little out of date. I had the ½ lb. bacon hamburger and onion rings. The last visit was through the D/T and I had the fries and was not a huge fan. They were soggy and kind of too greasy for my liking. I believe it is the way in which they are cooked either in oil that is not hot enough or they were not cooked long enough. Because the fries themselves I could tell were freshly cut potatoes which in my opinion is close to what In & Out burger does so they should definitely have had the potential to be awesome! The burger and rings though were absolutely fantastic!!! Probably one of the top five burgers I have had in my lifetime. Ranking up there with the likes of favorites such as Long Branch, In & Out burger, five guys, and Suite 100’s Pulp Fiction burger. The service was slow for a fast food joint, but for what it delivered in quality of product I would happily trade the time factor. If these guys figure out the French fries thing I think they could really have a winner here. But this place is a definite return visit kind of place

I dont care what anyone else says. Best burgers in town! Everything is always fresh.(Never a mealy tomato in sight!) The buns are soft and homemade(which you smell when you walk in) The fries are okay, but im picky about fries. The shakes are great as well and you can choose just about any flavor you can imagine. The customer service is… meh. But the food 100% makes up for it! Definitely worth going!

If I could survive on burgers alone… I would Wee B’s has a pretty fantastic burger but I would suggest dining in as the burger gets pretty soggy and messy in the bag so by the time you get to where you are going its not up to par. They have a great variety of toppings and meat which I love. The fries are real hand cut fries which many people are not used to but they keep some of the skins on and I like that as well so this place is pretty good as burgers go, not the BEST as I am still looking for that. Just FYI the owner does NOT like you to hold items off or change the burger toppings in any way and will actually tell you no if you ask to hold the pickles, or lettuce or whatever you don’t like so you have to pick them off later, luckily i live my burger with EVERYTHING!

I passed by this place and was intrigued by the old school drive thru appearance. I came back to check it out and ordered a ¼ lb elk(you can also get beef or buffalo) jalapeño cheese burger(no sauce, which they say is like 1000 island), a small order of fries, and a small blackberry shake. Wow, it hit the spot! The burger was pretty good… it was hard to tell that the patty was lean, which is a good sign. The pickled jalapenos were good, but a bit overwhelming, and the cheesiness was lost. So maybe I’d go with a simple cheeseburger next time. The bun wasn’t toasted, but it was soft, and I could tell that it was homemade. The fries are some of my favorite sort: darker, pieces of peel left on, and crispy. The shake was pretty good, but I got a big chunk of ice(maybe from frozen blackberries?) that kind of detracted from it. They have so many options though! Blueberry, raspberry, mocha, chocolate, peanut butter, pineapple, butterscotch. Definitely would try another shake, and would recommend the food overall. The only real downside is $ 16 for three items at a fast food place, but Alaska is not cheap.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise! I often hear this place mentioned as a stand-out burger joint in Anchorage, but usually after mentioning a couple other spots first. It seems like it’s no one’s «#1» spot, but it’s in the«top 5» of many. And…I have NOIDEA why! This place is fantastic! They serve a fast food-y, malts-and-fries-y type of burger. And for that type of burger, I think they may have the best in town! What I love most about this place is the location: It’s located right off the hwy, right before heading into the Turnagain Arm. Perfect for when you want to spend the whole day outside but realize on the way out that you are chronically hangry and didn’t bring anything with you but trailmix and water! AND they have a drive-through! I got a ½ lb buffalo jalapeño cheese burger. It was perfect. I think the mayo adds a ton of bonus flavor to the burgers here(not for everyone though, lots of mayo haters out there). The burger had two ¼ lb patties and a perfect mix of toppings for that satisfying burger meat/pickle-crush mouthfeel. I didn’t get any fries, so I cannot vouch for them either way. I *DID* see big boxes of Idaho potatoes through the drive-through window though, so I’m betting they are pretty legit. PROTIP: don’t try to drive and eat one of these burgers at the same time. Bad things happen to good people.

Ok… I’m not a super huge burger chick, I mean I try and stay away from non organic beef, and copius amounts of grease, but sometimes a greasy burger just hits the spot and lets face it, it’s just downright comfort food at its finest. Soo Wee B’s I like a lot for burgers! I’ve been to Arctic Roadrunner and several other places, but Wee B’s has buffalo burgers and they let me order them without the bun. Buffalo is minimally processed and not loaded with a ton of hormones and chemicals. It’s also a very lean meat so its tasty and not quite as greasy as a regular beef burger. Wee B’s uses fresh ingredients, their buns are handmade, and the burgers hand shaped. Fries are also hand cut, and their shakes use real ice cream, and natural flavoring so they taste awesome! Old school, soda shop like, and not all chemically and gross. When I’m really wanting a burger I swing by and get the«bun free» ½ lb bacon buffalo cheeseburger. It is always great, ask for the secret sauce to go with it if you get the bun free one. It comes with the two burger patties with cheese and bacon on top, and lettuce, tomato, and chopped onion on the side. I have also had it with the bun which I like, but I just try and avoid a lot of bread so sometimes skip it. I rarely order fries, but have had them here before. If you like real french fries, the kind your momma used to make, home made, in the frying pan, then you will love theirs. It’s the full meal deal if your looking for a traditional burger, fry, and shake meal! OH and just an FYI. They make everything fresh so the drive through is slow. Inside takes a little while but is not unreasonable and worth it for a yummy burger. You order at the counter and then take a seat with your number. They call you when its ready. As for the décor its nothing to rave about. A bit dated, and just simple booths and tables. The employees are always friendly and nice from my experience.
