Our waiter was very funny(looked like Carl from the Walking Dead) I think his real name is Stephen. He was very entertaining, took care of us and made sure we were happy. The drinks were good, service good, food was good. The front desk got a little ticked off at us because we asked for a table for 8 and it ended up being 6– we had two cancellations as we were parking up. We told her when we walked in that it was now only 6 and she said ‘well next time when that happens be sure to call us to let us know’, we explained that we just had a cancellation 2 minutes ago. Despite this I will definitely come back here, Stephen AKA Carl ensured our satisfaction, he was awesome.

Took the wife here for a early Valentine’s Day dinner last night. We have been here several times in the past and this is kind of our go-to spot for a classed up meal without the little ones. I have to say the service tonight though was very impressive. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, despite being crazy busy in the dining area. Apparently, we were not the only ones that thought an early Valentines Day dinner to beat the rush was a good idea :). I ordered the filet and my wife ordered the salmon. Both dishes looked absolutely awesome. Mine was cooked to perfection and tasted even better. But my wife had to send her salmon back, which we have never had to do in the past… This is where it gets impressive. The way this particular problem was handled blew me away! The waiter, saw she was picking through the fish, and asked if everything was alright. Once he was aware that the fish was not cooked to her liking he immediately took the plate and moved her order to the front of the line to be re-fired. It was back at the table and cooked perfectly fairly quickly!!! One of the managers then stopped by to make sure she was happy with dinner and let us know he was aware that there was a problem and wanted to ensure everything was perfect. You don’t really see that level of customer care so much anymore. I was very impressed with just that aspect of the dinner alone! And that is why they will defiantly keep receiving my business for a long time to come!

After my experience tonight, this place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Recognizing it’s a Friday night, we expected a bit of a wait to be seated. The hostess told us 20 minutes, which was pretty spot on. The waitress took us to an awkward table with three chairs that wouldn’t push in because the base of the table base was so wide. We asked if we could sit at the neighboring booth, but we were told no because it was reserved for a larger party. The last straw was having to sit without being greeted or acknowledged for at least five minutes. Being right next to the POS stand where the waiters punch in the orders made it worse because we were surrounded by at least 10 servers and/or bussers. Several of them saw us at the very least, but nobody stopped by our table to say anything or bring us a glass of water. After waiting closer to 10 minutes, we decided to get up and leave. Even when we got up to leave, nobody said anything. We left feeling very disheartened. Not sure if we will be coming back anytime soon.

Our table had some salads and chowder and they were both absolutely delicious but 2 of us ordered the crab and shrimp stuff ravioli and spinach and 3 cheese stuffed ravioli. The pasta was terrible. It was incredibly greasy. 2 – 4 raviolis combined on both dishes were ate. So basically nothing. The waitress asked how our food was and when we told her it was terrible just apologized and asked if we wanted to purchase another entire. I might go back because the chicken but it won’t be my choice.

Had a late dinner here at Suite 100 in Anchorage Alaska. This is a bar and restaurant. We entered at 8 pm and seated promptly. Looked busy. Waitress very attentive. I had the Pesto pasta with chicken — excellent. My husband had flank steak in teriyaki and pineapple marinade. He said it was delicious. Will go again when we come back.

Service was good but food not so good, for the price I was expecting something more, prime rib was not well seasoned, poke was just okay(not worth $ 15) and chicken gnocchi was recommended to me; too much blue cheese and dark peppers. Overall doubt I will go back unless someone is paying

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Very good service right from the start, nice environment and a good«flow» around the place. The emphasis seems to be on seafood and meat, with a strong bar presence. I enjoy it here and would eat here more often if I lived on this side of town. A solid dining experience for everyone.

The young lady at the greeting station was apparently having an off night and decided to throw her bad mood at us and make it clear what a complete inconvenience it was to greet and seat us. I made the huge mistake of mentioning that the greeter had been a bit rude. So now the manager is hovering around our table asking every two minutes if everthing is ok, two or three times before the food even comes out. In spite of this, both our orders are messed up… my wifes salad comes at the end, while my food is raw and has to go back so we both eat while the other watches. Very bad, very overpriced, they really only pretend to care. We used to go often, but not anymore.

I’ve been twice and both times was excellent. The second trip we ordered the Surf and Turf App! AMAZING! I had the Grilled Shrimp and Scallops for dinner. I am a huge shrimp fan but was skeptical about trying scallops. First the Shrimp was perfect both times, not greasy and salty, like other local restaurants. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned. The scallops were cooked perfectly. They were fall apart tender and seasoned perfectly. I have to say I’m not a scallop fan but they were perfect. The red curry sauce was delicious and I’m not a huge curry fan. It was really a perfect dish after a perfect App. The Aloha Martini is delicious. Definitely on par with Orso/Brewhouse without the downtown parking issues!

A local friend suggested this place after our first choice was closed(it was Monday). Thrown off at first since its on the ground floor of a medical building and the restroom is in the hall with the dentist offices. Décor inside was nice and the service attentive. I got the steak and mashed potatoes(no baked potato). It was OK. My brother got the salmon and it was awesome. My friend got the burger and it looked great. I would eat here again, but would probably try another place.

Decided to stop on from our late afternoon at the Wildlife Conservation Center in Girdwood. After hearing word from many friends that this place was a ‘must dine.’ I’m actually shocked I have not seen this place before, especially since I pass this area quite often. I guess you really have to really be looking for it to find it since it really blends in. I let the hostess know that it was our first time here, and to not disappoint. She quickly escorted us to our seats and informed us that Britt was the best and loves new people. Britt was the best and to our surprise, we had another set of friends seated in the booth right in front of us for their date night. I opted to try her favorite, a Mango Martini and it was exactly how she described it sweet, just how I liked it with a little sliver of fresh mango tucked into the bottom. Menu was not overly priced, approx. $ 20-$ 30 per plate and full of very different options. Britt was awesome in not only making us feel like we’ve all been friends for a long time, promptly taking care of us and our needs. I choose to indulge in the grilled chicken gnocchi which was toasted in blue cheese cream with fresh basil and without the dusted pistachios. Gnocchi is my go-to, at another restaurant they offer it paired with gorgonzola sauce. Being that I am not a blue cheese type of person, Britt enforced my need to try this. She was again correct, my meal was delicious — as was everyone else’s choices. She encouraged desert, but we agreed to come back one night just for the desert. Who can ever get desert after having that large of a meal? I know I can’t. The group defiantly recommends, and I know my husband and I will certainly be looking forward to returning. The only real downfall was the navigation to the bathroom. You have to go over the river and through the woods to find the place, but the food and service certainly deserved the need for a five star review.

I’ve come here several times and have decided I’m just not really a fan. Last time I was here, the service was ridiculously poor. I had a reservation ahead of time and was still asked to wait. From reading other reviews, it looks like this is a trend. Once seated, the server practically ignored us and I got no bread at the table(which is blasphemy in my book). The food is decent but forgettable, I couldn’t tell you what I’ve eaten there because it was just okay. While my dinner experiences have been lacking, I have had fun sitting on their bar side drinking cocktails. Probably wouldn’t suggest dinner here, though, if my friends or family wanted to go out to eat.

We had a great dinner tonite. A rocky beginning, but the staff did everything right. Our 35 min wait past our reservation and we were given comped cocktails while we waited and they brought comped appetizers after we were seated. Dinner was great. Steaks nicely done, good sides. But the standout was Annie, our server. Genuinely happy and interested in making sure we were happy. We agreed that we would return just to eat in her section. A nice evening.

We came here in Friday night with a reservation for 6:30 and had to wait about 10 min before being seated. We got the scallops app and we both had steaks… We also had 2 desserts, sorry I don’t remember exactly. The food here is solid and the staff is friendly and efficient. The pace of dining was perfect also. I would really give them 3.5 stars, but I really like the casual atmosphere of the place, not so fancy like Simon and seaforts and the food and service were on point! I know we had the crème brûlée and it wasn’t as good as the brew house, but you can’t really mess that up too bad. I’d be back!

The most average place you’ll find. Seriously. Don’t be fooled into thinking that this is some fancy place because of its décor, it is not! The wine, for starters, is the same exact wine that Winn Dixie sells in the clearance isle for wine in the lower 48(Doña Paula wine! Seriously!?!) and on top of that, it is very expensive(I can buy two bottles, really, for the price of their single glass AND get Gas Points) Another thing, their salads are really basic, nothing wow about them at all. Again, a pretty basic restaurant, no shame in that. Now, the bread pudding is delicious and the only reason why I rate this place 3 stars, I truly recommend this place for a quick dessert if you happen to be driving by(don’t make a point of going across town for this place because it isn’t worth it)

My feelings about Suite 100 fluctuate, sometimes a 3, sometimes a 4. A 3.5 star would be perfect. I’ve eaten here several times, and it’s an occasional go-to, basic night out meals, usually at their bar(which as others have noted is a hoppin’ bar most nights). The best appetizer(that I ate as an entrée) that I have ever made there was a lamb lollipop that I have been stalking ever since. I’ve had it twice, though I haven’t had the fortune to enjoy it again. It was incredibly yummy, tender, flavorfully spiced, and perfectly cooked. Plus, the dish was nicely presented. My usual is the grilled chicken gnocchi, and this has been consistently good – tender gnocchi, not too heavy blue cheese sauce, and moist chicken. I also like the fig and goat cheese salad, though there have been times when it was served with almost no dressing and minimal goat cheese. For drinks, I LOVE the yuzu lemondrop, except occasionally when the bartender mixes it a bit off. When it’s on, though, it’s the perfect blend of sweet and sour, and after two, I am basically numb. And their wine list is fine, though I am not a huge fan of the champagnes they offer by the glass. Probably the most consistently awesome food on their menu is the desserts. I could mainline the lemon mousse, and the croissant pudding is a nice cake alternative for a warm, filling dessert. The carrot cake is excellent, and again, they had a passionfruit special dessert once that I would pay a good deal to eat just once more. MMMMM. But I can’t just rate based on the desserts. The Kumamoto oyster appetizer is fresh and good most of the time, but a few times, there have been some serious shell shards that impeded the eating and endangered my tender mouthflesh. A friend recommended the mushroom fritters, and they were gross. It’s basically big breaded Portabello served with what tasted like bagged shredded cheese and way too much garlic«aioli»(with no discernible garlic flavor and suspicious jar mayo aftertaste). Another recommendation, the stuffed fried chicken, also turned out to be disappointing – the chicken was dry and flavorless, and the dish as a whole felt more like a lump than a planned, rolled dish. All in all, I have become shy of trying things I haven’t already enjoyed on the menu. But I will continue to go there since the food I like is good more often than not, and the price is comparably affordable.

We decided to celebrate my dear friend’s 21st birthday at Suite 100. I was suprised that with only a few days notice, they were willing to make reservations for our party of 15. Usually schmansy places get uppity about large groups, but they were very accomodating. Our table was ready on time, which was a pleasant suprise. Doubly surprising was our lovely waitresses with an unflappable attitude and willingness to split the check every which way. There were no errors on any checks and everything went very smoothly. I was very pleased with their excellent drink and wine list. Just lovely. If you think you’re not a wine drinker, sample some of the delightful wines at Suite 100 and you may just change your mind. The staff is very knowledgable and will happily help you choose an adult beverage that will suite your palate. The only part of the experience that left something to be desired was the food. I’m being picky I guess, because the food was good. It just wasn’t excellent and I was expecting excellent. Given the ambiance, the prices and the fine wine list, I was expecting more. The fried portabello mushrooms were cooked perfectly, but lacked flavor. The greens in the goat cheese and fig salad were bitter and really detracted from the meager garnishings of figs, almonds and goat cheese. My entrée of chicken with gnocci was cooked perfectly, but again, was lacking in flavor. I think however, that perhaps the chef uses discretion when it comes to salt(which is a good thing), so maybe that’s all it was. But each dish made me feel like it was just missing just that special something. I wouldn’t reorder any of the things I had again, and I think that says something. Everyone that ordered steak was very pleased, so perhaps that was my error. The risotto my tablemates enjoyed smelled heavenly and had me salivating. Even though I wasn’t impressed by the food, I would definitely revisit Suite 100 for a special occasion. The experience was very pleasant. Next time, I’ll get the steak

Excellent food, reasonable prices and a lively bar, can’t ask for anything better on my first night arriving in Anchorage. So yummy and fresh and loved the energy at this place which was filled with the pleasant background sound of diners conversing and silverware clinking. Even though it was full it did not feel crowded. Tables are spaced well apart so that conversations remain private. We saw several large groups dining together from multi family gatherings to business associates. I ordered Chef special«spicy ginger crusted Alaskan Halibut, it was prepared perfectly with a nice translucent center and a grilled crusty surface. Magnificent! Had a couple of best Cucumber gimlet I ever tasted and the overall experience was wonderful. The place is in a strip mall and a little hard to notice from the street but be sure to find it as you will enjoy it.
